I brought my silk duvet in for dry cleaning and was unable to pick it up right away due to a move. When I came back, the owner said it was still in storage and asked me to give him more time. Since then, every time I've shown up in person to get it, I'm told to "come back later" -- this has been going on for over a year with no resolution. I've lost confidence that my duvet still exists or will ever be returned. Be cautious leaving valuable items here long-term; communication and follow-through have been a real problem. Update: I received a call from the owner stating he has my duvet and it's ready for pick up. I was excited and went to go pick it up. When i looked at my duvet, it is covered with mold. He insisted to tell me that it came with mold, excuse me? The audacity. It didn't come with mold. The mold build up was due to my duvet being in his storage for year and half. Instead of patronizing and gaslighting me, he could of simply tried to at least returned it clean as courtesy. I paid and again left frustrated. I don't understand how anyone does business like this. I called him as to why he would give it to me back like this and he said oh, i can clean it again. Absolutely not!! I feel this was a retaliation for my review. I just went to another cleaner and begged them to help me. So I'll be paying double to clean up his mess. Unacceptable. read more

I went back to get it cleaned up and instead of the Owner taking ownership he kept telling me someone might of wore it blah blah ..Like Seriously ! I'm the only person wearing my clothes ..I was really confused..we are all human and We all make mistakes and he wouldn't admit to forgetting to clean the inside. Ocean Dry cleaning was able to restore a few vintage sweaters that I have, and you couldn't tell there were stains in them that were stubborn to remove at home. Clothing that have solvent exceptions were also handled correctly. The price is also a great value, and for the amount of items I had cleaned the bill wasn't unreasonable. When my husband came in to drop off his clothes, the guy was also honest that one of his white suits could not be recovered even if he dropped it off. After postponing our wedding due to Covid, we drove overnight to Vegas for a socially distanced elopement with Elvis then drove home. I wore my grandmother's wedding dress and unfortunately it got so dirty along the bottom (like really dirty). Ocean Dry Cleaning saved the day! They even got cleaned some stains it had from not being stored properly in a basement for 46 years. Took my wedding dress here to get cleaned and it came out like new. Lots of dirt on the train and bottom from my wedding day. My dress was mostly embroidered lace with a couple layers. I was told it would be ready in two weeks which was fine because I didn't urgently need it back. The owner called the day before pick up day and said he'd like to clean it once more free of charge as there was still some dirt in the bottom and asked if he could hang onto it another week. Again, didn't need it urgently so totally fine! Also brought an expensive wool sweater and suit, paid around $130 for everything, super reasonable compared to what local wedding dress specific cleaners charge. I did not get it preserved because we may be doing a non-Covid wedding someday soon (hopefully, am I right) and the owner told me preserving is more for if the dress will be sitting in an attic for 20 years vs a closet for a year or two. I couldn't be happier with the kind and friendly service, the owner and my husband shared local high school stories from the 90's and had a few laughs.
