I'm the only person wearing my clothes ..I was really confused..we are all human and We all make mistakes and he wouldn't admit to forgetting to clean the inside. When my husband came in to drop off his clothes, the guy was also honest that one of his white suits could not be recovered even if he dropped it off. Had a couple of white color garments that needed stain removal as well & brought them to another place which ended up not cleaning it at all. But that is not the case for this place! Took my wedding dress here to get cleaned and it came out like new. Lots of dirt on the train and bottom from my wedding day. My dress was mostly embroidered lace with a couple layers. I was told it would be ready in two weeks which was fine because I didn't urgently need it back. The owner called the day before pick up day and said he'd like to clean it once more free of charge as there was still some dirt in the bottom and asked if he could hang onto it another week. Again, didn't need it urgently so totally fine! Also brought an expensive wool sweater and suit, paid around $130 for everything, super reasonable compared to what local wedding dress specific cleaners charge. I did not get it preserved because we may be doing a non-Covid wedding someday soon (hopefully, am I right) and the owner told me preserving is more for if the dress will be sitting in an attic for 20 years vs a closet for a year or two. I couldn't be happier with the kind and friendly service, the owner and my husband shared local high school stories from the 90's and had a few laughs. Considering the unbelievable reviews I thought I found THE place and drove 30 min with a pile of my best cashmere etc. I'm in disbelief at what I got back - shrunk sweaters, ruined tops, a dime-sized HOLE in a cashmere cardigan. Multiple beloved items unceremoniously retired because they have lost shape, changed fabric, no longer fit or need repair. I literally rechecked the name and address thinking I must have gone to the wrong place. Nope. Right place. I don't know what to think at this point.
