This dry cleaning place is great. They have good service, and always do a good job. The turnaround time is typically 5 days, but if I need it sooner, they're happy to do it. My clothing always comes back clean. They're decently priced, and located so close to me. Can't beat that! I also love that it's family owned, with the children that just went to ALHS down the block. This is the worst dry cleaning place I have ever been to. The staff, especially this lady in this picture, is so unprofessional, rude, and inappropriate. I went to come pick up my clothes and they couldn't find them. They were brand new. When I insisted that they were they, she SCREAMED at me, told me to go back in the back to go look for my clothes myself, and was so rude to me. I left without my clothes. Then months later she texted me that they were ready for pickup. When I arrived, she forgot about the incident and then made up some story about another lady being new and not being able to find them. I reminded her of the incident where SHE was the one who couldn't find my clothes and she screamed at me. It had been 5 months that they had kept my clothes. Then when I went to pay, I asked her for a discount because she lost them for so long. She said it was my fault and how dare I ask and that she wouldn't get a discount and was extremely rude. She then started yelling at me, in front of my baby in my stroller, saying something like "you're a mother. That's your baby. You're a professional. How can you ask for a discount. You know business." Who knows what that means. I will NEVER return here again and I will tell all my neighbors about this horrible experience. Later, when I got home I realized my clothes were even damaged. Wow. NEVER COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOU CLOTHES TO BE LOST AND RUINED, AND WANT HORRIBLE RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

I most recently had to get my wedding dress altered as it was too small. Cindy worked her magic as always and somehow made it possible for me to fit into my dream wedding dress in just 2 days!! The detail and precision they show in their work coupled with their honesty is truly unmatched. I brought in a dress where the straps were a tiny bit loose but with Cindy's expertise, she advised me that altering it more may break the seam of the dress and might be incredibly uncomfortable to wear (she was 100% right) and I valued her honesty. She told me to save my money and instead came up with a genius idea to use double sided tape!! Cindy goes above and beyond for her customers. Cindy & Ken operate their own plant & do a bang up job! They are very hard workers, always helpful, friendly & accommodating. l've gone to them for many years for dry cleaning and laundry. Their prices are reasonable. On several occasions I've asked Cindy if she could do some unusual alterations-(dog halter, sweatshirt to make it fit better, put pockets on the inside of jackets, etc.) & she has always done it to perfection. (I'm not sure where the reviewer "Mr. K" went when he said the "owners are aggressive," -I see he lives in Oakland & I know there is a business there of the the same name-possibly mixed it up?) Cindy and Kenneth provided excellent service every time I went in. They are responsive and the turnaround time is quick. I had a pair of expensive white overalls that got melted chocolate stuck to the pockets, which I accidentally put in the dryer ‍you guessed it...the chocolate dried up and it was gunky and dark. I was pretty upset because of how much the overalls costed. Luckily, I found Sunny dry cleaners, and within a few days, Cindy was able to remove the dried up chocolate completely and even cleaned it to make it look brand new. Great service, and only positive impressions for years, until today. I gave them a dark green jacket for dry cleaning and received a light, yellowish-green jacket upon pick-up. I complained and stated I did not want a refund and that the color had changed completely. I was told that a color change could not and would not occur during dry cleaning and that the color change was probably due to wear and tear. I've had the jacket for 6 years now and know what color it was before and after dry cleaning. I am not disappointed in the damage done to my jacket or loss of money. I am disappointed in the staff's complete deflection of any blame, or even the possibility that a color change could have occurred after dry-cleaning - when the difference was so clear. read more

I dropped off some clothing last week Wednesday to be dry cleaned. The man at the front let me know they'd likely be ready by Saturday which I think is a good turnaround time given that I wasn't in any rush. I picked the clothing up today, the following Monday, and everything looked good! My silk shirts were pristine and wrinkle free. I am pleased with the cleaning service I received. Three silk shirts and a wool sweater cost $23. That seems high to me, but maybe that's just how much dry cleaning costs in San Francisco? And just a note, if you'd like to redeem the yelp check in deal of 10% off, it needs to be presented when you drop off clothes, not when you pick them up. read more

One thing I don't like about shops with check in offers is when they don't HONOR the deal. Dropped my dry clean one day and picked up in 4-5 Days which speed wise it's good. On pick up day and ready to pay I wanted to use the 10% off check-in offer but the clerk told me no, I must spend $100 to get 10%. Then why don't you say so on the YELP page with captions or disclaimer when the 10% prompts up? Sketchy... Then the boss lady told me I can use it the next time I swing by and inform them during drop off... so which is it? You guys are spreading misinformation and offers and if it's a certain deal that I need to spend $$ On then revise the info on your yelp offer! I weighed my clothes before dropping them off, 13 pounds. I pick them up and they're charging me for 15 pounds so I asked them to show me on their scale and their scale reads 13 pounds. They tried to say "well maybe you brought your clothes in wet" why would I wet my clothes before dropping them off, that makes no sense.. Although it is not a huge deal for me to pay that minuscule amount extra, I no longer trust the integrity of this business. An owner that would lie to a loyal customer just to make a couple bucks more is clearly running a business that doesn't deserve my business. **Two stars for our history of decent dry cleaning. Waaait, I just remembered the other time I used their wash and fold service and they charged me $40 for my comforter and said it was listed as extra and on a small sign it said prices for specific items and ALL THE PRICE SECTIONS WERE BLANK..so essentially they could make up any "extra charge" rate they wanted. read more

Looking for a new dry cleaners as my local business closed during COVID. Tried this place out. Had them do some adjustments to some pants along with dry cleaning. I asked them to take 2 inches off some pants (I declined to try them on at the cleaner when I dropped them off). After they completed the alterations I realized I actually needed an extra inch. Even though it was my own fault - they made the additional alteration at no charge. Although I didn't ask for this - it was very much appreciated as a nice gesture and a sign of a business that really values its customers. Fast and reliable service! I spilled coffee on my white shirt as I was driving. Decided to use a Tide Pen to get the stain off. Unfortunately, it only made things worse. Since I was on my way to the city (from SJ) and I've heard of them before, I gave them a call. Without further questions they just asked me to drop it off. Was able to pick it up by the end of the day. The shirt came back close to being brand new, looking fresh, and bright! Super thankful and appreciate of their service, especially since I asked them out of the blue. Give them a try, you can't wrong with them. I'll be back. Fair price and exceptional service. They have torn the sleeves of two of my dress shirts (one of which I've been wearing for 8+ years and was in great condition). I've never had this issue before with any other dry cleaner so no idea what kind of machines they are using. The owner did not offer any help, compensation, or even sympathy. Obviously will not be coming back and would recommend others stay away. read more

This is a horrible experience for me. If Yelp has 0 ratings, this dry clean place totally deserves it. I took my tailored trench coat for a dry clean. They were nice when they took my order. I got my coat back and found there were many black dots everywhere which weren't there before. I was disappointed and went back and talked to the woman who was working at the reception desk. Basically I just wanted a another try see if those dots would just disappear. I made my point very clear, BUT, the woman started humiliating me and my coat by saying, "Oh, it's your fabric, nothing wrong with my machine"--What?, "this coat doesn't have a cleaning label"-- of course not, hello~~it's custom made ok?, and then she started talking Mandarin with me, saying "I know your Chinese"--WTF, you are not Chinese. That day I was really pissed off. Second time I went back to pick up my coat, the dots were still there. And the woman's attitude was still the same. Blaming on the fabric of my coat. Saying she knew the kind of people like me -- gzzz..that's funny, you knew me that well? really? I said, "this is your customer service? how would you feel if your cloth was ruined and didn't get an apology and also was humiliated by your own people?" "All I want was a nice sincerely SORRY, that simple" Disappointed, mad and felt shame for this woman. If you always show ugly face to your customers if they are not satisfied with your service, it doesn't matter what kind of ethnics they are, this is not the way you should treat your customers, if you keep doing this, you will lose your business one day. I actually do not use them for dry cleaning services. I bring the BF's dress shirts here for laundering. They are friendly, reasonably priced (less than $2/shirt), and have always given us a quick turn around on the laundered, light starch shirts. Which is great for us since the BF usually waits until the last minute to ask me to bring the shirts and I usually have to bring all his shirts except for one so that he has something to wear. :) read more

DO NOT COME HERE. I had 3 jackets dry cleaned. I didn't need to use them until 2 weeks later, but when I took it out of the garment bag, 2 of them had a strange stench. I took the 2 of 3 garments back to inform them of what happened and instead of apologizing, taking responsibility, or at least trying to offer a fix for the problem, the woman scolded me for not bringing it back within 24 hours. I told her plenty times that I did not need to wear the items right away, so I didn't feel the need to go out of my way to make sure they smelled good. Is it safe to assume that after you take clothes to the dry cleaners, they should actually come out looking and SMELLING better than before? Not here. They don't appreciate their customers here. My go-to dry cleaning place. The woman there is so helpful. She always is able to help us even with rush orders. Good prices there, too. She always gives me back money my sister leaves in her clothes, too. My family comes enough that she remembers our names and we could do without bringing our receipts (though she does have her copy, too). The lady at the counter is really nice. This is a small business near the corner of 18th and Taraval Ave. My fiance drops off his work shirts there almost every other week to have them washed and ironed. And if we drop the shirts off on Saturday, then we get them back on Wednesday. A shirt used to cost us $1.50 but now, it's $1.65. They wash the clothes next door at the laundromat. We saw one of the guy from there next door. The ironing is great most of the time. I think it was only one shirt that they didn't do a great job. And that was the only one out of 5 visits of 15 shirt each visit. Oh, and their hours are good too! Overall, this place is pretty good! read more

I have been searching for an eco-friendly dry cleaners that does not use harsh chemicals on my clothes. I have finally found the perfect place at a reasonable price too! After trying many dry cleaners, this place has by far been the best. I brought in an extremely dirty three piece suit after a big gala, and it came out better than I expected. I always go here to hem my pants. Unlike most dry cleaners that I've been to, they have a little secured draped area where I can change my clothes. I prefer the seamstress to measure the height of my pants against my body, rather than telling her to hem by xxx inches. read more
