Enjoyed the Superfood Salad. Way too much food for me. Couldn't even finish half this salad. Loved the ingredients, especially the walnuts. Usually get the Loubie Plate and V-nine soup. Wanted to try something new this time. Same excellent service and ambiance I expect from Alladin's. Please open one in northern NJ.

I've actually been here once before but the occasion was so forgettable (I think I came in just for takeaway soup or something; I don't know) I forgot to write a review. So I decided to return for Restaurant Week Winter 2023. For $20, I got small hummus w/ hot sauce, chicken pitza, and baklava lady fingers for dessert. Normally, a la carte - according to their online menu, those items cost $20.25. So I saved a quarter I guess. I noticed too they charged me a $1.50 service charge on top of that. In the end I paid more than the normal prices. Isn't that antithetical to the point of Restaurant Week? Anyway, the food was good (the baklava was my favorite but I wouldn't say no to a second helping of the pitza), the service was fine, and the ambience was acceptable (is it really bright in there or is it just me?).

Aladdin's!!! Everything is delicious--you really can't go wrong. They also have lots of dietary friendly options. I arrived to pick up an order my partner had placed online and said I was also looking for a dessert. My partner had listed that I had a dairy allergy on the online order (I don't actually, just lactose intolerant), and the manager was quick to point out vegan options in the dessert case. When I explained the dessert was for a friend, she had recommendations for her favorites with dairy. I wish I could remember her name, because she was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I got the mujadara power salad for the first time, and it was so good I've already tried to re-create it at home. Lots of lentils and hummus. A whole meal on its own, I was stuffed by the end. They also have some really yummy soups that are not to be overlooked.

I got some Uber Eats delivered from Aladdin's consisting of an order of falafel and chicken shawarma griller. The falafel wasn't the best. The pieces were on the mushy side and the exterior wasn't crispy enough to provide a contrasting texture. My chicken, on the other hand, was quite good. The wrap contained large chunks of chicken and fresh vegetables and it was quite tasty. My companion got the beef and rice and complained that it was dry and had an odd flavor.

Aladdins for many years was my favorite Middle Eastern food joint, but I'm not nearly as enthusiastic about them as I used to be. The food is good, but not top notch. (I think Lavash just down the street is way better). The portion size is small, especially their rolled pitas. The service can be good, or it can be catastrophically slow. (I've had multiple lunch visits run way over my lunch break over the years.) The parking situation here isn't that great either. If some friends wanted to meet here, I'd be alright with that. However, I don't think I would go out of my way to recommend this place.

We first ordered from here during their Valentine's Day deal that was maybe a little too popular because my husband ended up waiting over an hour there even after they said it was ready to be picked up. They were super apologetic and ended up giving us a gift card that we used for weeks after! Run, don't walk and get yourself some baklava cheesecake! It's delicious- not too sweet and one piece is more than enough for 2 people. A great local Lebanese spot, just be prepared to wait a little if you order to go!

I love this place! I use to go to the ones in Cleveland and so this gives me a little taste from home. The pics were taken after I started stuffing my face so these pics are not necessarily the correct portion size. We got the hummus, kibbie, falafel, dawali, chicken shawarma (not pictured), mujadara plate, cassata cake, carrot cake, and large assortment of baklava. I normally do not like vegetarian dawali but these ones are really good! They bring back lots of childhood memories for me. Kibbie is always one of my favorites. The thing that stands out for me is the falafel. At most places it is kinda bland but they make it flavorful. I didn't care too much for the cassata cake but my husband liked it. The food was consistent with the locations in Cleveland. I can't wait to go back!

All utensils and plates and water are serve-yourself near the door. At lunchtime on a warm Saturday in spring they had a steady trickle of guests coming in. The person who took our order thanked us for supporting them. Food was quick and very fresh. I had 1/2 tabbouleh salad and za'atar French fries. The tabbouleh is more heavy on the greens than the grain which was a refreshing change to me. It was dressed in a bright, fresh lemony dressing. More than I could eat in one sitting. The French fries are maybe dipped in batter and fried. I'm not sure. But they are super crispy on the outside and fluffy inside - delicious. The ambiance is casual with various TV screens showing different shows and Middle Eastern music playing on the speakers. The interior is simple but warm and inviting with minimal but fun decor. While the prices are a bit higher than I would have expected, I could see myself returning for dinner.

He insisted that we should wait in the car and he brought out the food when it was ready. The falafel side we ordered was very good. I couldn't tell if they made them fresh there or they were store bought. The gyro was a disappointment as the meat lacked the typical authentic flavor. The sauce was way too thick. They excel in the chicken wings. I highly recommend getting the chicken wings which were seasoned with very good spice. I didn't even know that fried chicken wings are part of their cuisine. The baklava was okay. I actually find it not sweet enough. I can't believe I said that because most time this dessert is too sweet. The portion size is very good for $3. Yes, they raised the price on their menu items too but the menu on the truck doesn't reflect the new pricing. This seems to be a thing here in Columbus.

Had to try out the top-rated middle-eastern food truck in Columbus. We ordered several gyros sandwiches (a deal at $6/each), wing meal combo, and a side of falafels. Surprisingly, the poorest part of the order were the gyro sandwiches. Size was good but the gyro meat could have used more searing, plus the yogurt sauce was actually too thick and copious. The wings and falafels were the stars, both appropriately moist and crispy. Sauces for both were tasty too. 4 folks could eat well for under $40. And the guy manning the truck and cooking was very nice. This place is definitely worth the trip and $$s.

Seeing that it was priced at $56 steered my wife and I to try individual entrees for around $14-$15. If you're in the mood for breakfast, get a breakfast bowl *with potatoes*. Several dishes have them and the Mixed Breakfast Bowl added onions, peppers, mushrooms and your choice of egg. We went with scrambled, and everything was really good. Our other dish was the Eggs with Tomato-Hek U Bajan Bowl, eggs came over easy. This dish wasn't my favorite, although the complimentary naan helped to add some flavor and texture to this dish. In hindsight, I think I would have preferred the Eggs and Veggie - Mexlama Bowl that had cheese and less tomato. The meal came with complimentary tea which was appreciated. On the way out, I grabbed a large slice of their Biscoff Cheesecake. I liked the accents of Biscoff, and the graham cracker crust held up well as the prominent flavor. Conversely, the cheesecake portion didn't pack the punch I was hoping for. My chicken shawarma sandwich came wrapped in warm naan, the pickles, chicken, French fries, and garlicky sauce pairing well with a ramekin of cool jajik on the side. My wife's falafel naan sandwich was crammed with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, pickles, and fries, all topped with tahini sauce, along with fresh falafel. The Turkish coffee was nicely presented on a metal tray with sugar cubes and two small cups, and drinking this proved to be a delight. I sincerely hope that we're able to visit Silav again soon!
