I loved this place! Got gorgeous gels over acrylic fills in sparkly cherry red yesterday. My manicurist was polite, skilled, and friendly. Lisa and I had a lovely conversation as she worked. The space is beautiful & spottless with a calm ambiance: there are no TVS. THAT IS SO RARE! The owner checked me out and was super polite and friendly too. There are many stations for both manicures and pedicures, enough to accommodate a large party, say a wedding party or a night out for a group of friends. I was a walk-in and the only client there yesterday but for a large party, reservations are probably a good idea. It's located conveniently, right across TPC from Target, but is not visible from the road. It's super close for BULVERDE residents and super, super close for Stone Oak and Sonterra. I was there to play golf and my wife got what she claimed was her best pedicure ever at the TPC spa. Nice!

I really wish I could've rated them higher. This used to be my go to spot, but hadn't stopped by for a while. When doing my manicure, they sanded down my cuticles so much that they started to bleed. My friend was also getting her manicure at the same time and had the same thing happen to her. She also had specifically just asked for buffed nails and the technician refused telling her that she wouldn't do that until after Christmas. This was my first time using this salon. I called ahead to confirm that they had child pedicure seats because I was bringing my daughters in for their first pedicure. When we arrived we were the only ones in the salon. I had told her on the phone we would have three pedicures.. she started asking my daughter if she wanted her nails too... what four year old says no to that, it was such an awkward position to be put in so we did nails too for the girls. I have no complaints on the kids pedicure- my daughters were happy with the treat of getting their nails done. But the chairs are in WORN condition. They do not look like the photos. My pedicure was done by an older gentleman. He brought the tools and they were dirty. I asked him to get new ones, and if they hadn't already started my daughters pedicure we would have left. It took forever to get the pedicure started because he went to the back to clean the tools and it took a while for him to do it. He actually switched callous tools and decided to use a throw away tool instead. He scrubbed the bottom of my foot raw. The whole pedicure was so rough, my face literally was in pain the entire time. The polish ran out while painting and instead of starting over on the large toe he just painted and painted so it's totally uneven. And don't even get me started on the nail shape- I do a better job at home! But the worst part is at the end. Instead of processing my card payment the nail tech says they want cash app or venmo and tells me I can download it. Definitely not the first nail salon experience I was hoping for... and definitely not a salon I would go to again. read more

Came here with my niece for a nice pedicure date. They were able to fit us both in right away and we both got the classic pedicures. The man who did mine really scrubbed my feet and got down to my callouses. I opted in for the Lavender Pedicure for $40. They do paraffin wax and callous scrubs, massage feet and legs, the young man I had did a great job. I then got acrylic nails with gel on top, the man didn't greet me once, he was so quiet I felt incredibly awkward and I started to fall asleep from boredom. He finally finished my nails and they were quite a mess, the gel was all over my skin and wasn't cleaned up well at all. He then forgot to put a top coat on my right thumb, luckily I have a gel kit at home to fix this otherwise I'd be pretty upset. Overall I don't think I'll be getting manicures here again. Pedicures at _________________________________________________________ After my not-so-great experience for my birthday, Kathy called me to apologize and to come in to the nail salon to fix my nails. I was able to fix them myself but I did come back two weeks later to fix one of my acrylic nails that had broken. Kathy was absolutely wonderful and fixed my broken nail to perfection. The prices are too high for my liking. I was under the impression that my nails would be $35, this included acrylic nails with regular polish. I just needed a full set acrylic with shellac , I don't mind paying higher prices for a service that is done right but my experience here wasn't all that great. The nail tech was rough , I couldn't relax my hands because she kept on hurting me when she was buffing and using the electric file, she was rough..I've never been hurt repeatedly like that..I even started bleeding from my cuticle..and the result of my nails was definitely not great like I had expected for paying $55. This place is trash. My daughter and I went for a pedi after my mom had a good experience getting a fill. Her "princess pedi" was over priced for them just to lotion her legs and paint her toes. My pedi was ugly. My toe nails were all different shapes and lengths. Crooked. Paint job: horrible. Polish was dried out so it left a texture. Paint on my cuticles. Today my mom went back to get a fill. The tech who she enjoyed the time previous was very rude to her today. My mom asked for her to shorten the nails on one of her hands. They were noticeably longer than the opposite hand. The tech gave my mom a nastiest look and talked under her breathe for the remainder of the time. You are in the service industry, you are suppose to be providing a SERVICE. We will not be returning. read more

Common practice in every salon I've been to was be totally hygienic; every customer had a new, single-use emory square, they unwrapped a single-use pumice square in front of you, along with all their sterilized instruments. That is NOT the case at TPC. My mother and I came in for Mani/Pedis - the file/grinder they used to prep my nail for the dip powder was worn down and was not even wiped or sprayed down with alcohol prior to use on my fingers. I should've known better... before sitting down, my manicurist had just finished with a client and instead of cleaning the work station he simply dumped the contents of the hand towel the previous client had rested her hands on, onto the floor and beckoned me over. I could feel all the clippings of his previous clients under my feet. It. Was. Disgusting. My mother and I both received Almond Pedicures, her pedicurist went ham on her feet, she thoroughly enjoyed it.... my pedicurist wasn't as diligent as my mother's. I noticed after mine had used the pumice stone that it was the same stone used on my mother's feet; she rinsed it off after using it on mine and set it down for someone else to use. I. Was. Horrified. Upon closer examination of the stone, I discovered it was a well worn stone. How many people's feet have touched that before it was used on our feet?! How is that sanitary?! I will not be returning. I'll find a more hygienic salon. I recommend y'all do the same. read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for years. They are very friendly, do a great job, and are reasonably priced. Before visiting this nail salon, I had trouble with recurring fungal nail infections anytime I had a professional pedicure and had just decided to do my own nails instead. This has never happened to me since I took a chance on TPC Nails and I'm so relieved. Also I really like that I can usually just walk right in. They have all the necessary provisions in place for covid and I feel more safe getting my nails done there than I do grocery shopping. This place has no atmosphere. Just sad, no good energy. The staff has no personality. I was looking for a new salon for my nails since moving from Phoenix. It won't be this one. If you like that kind of salon then I guess this ones for you. They didn't offer you anything to drink. The lady I had, no personality, trying to tell her how you want your nails was like pulling a molar. She made my nails like how hers look square and boxy. This is the best nail spa that I have found in SA! They are always so very accommodating and friendly. They do a terrific job on my nails and feet. They are very thorough with the pedicures. Cleanliness is important to me when choosing a nail salon. They are very clean. They have liners in the pedi spas and they sterilize the tools with an autoclave. I looked up nail salons near me. This location was the closest. I call to see if they're accepting walk-ins or if I need to be screened before booking a future appt. To my surprise, they're accepting walk-ins! As soon as I walk in the greeter asks me what service I want done. I respond with a nail polish pedicure and if you have time I'd like a shellac manicure as well. (I walked in at 5p. They close at 7p). She instantly walks me over to the wall of nail polishes. As soon as I pick out a color she bombards me w samples and books of dip colors. I politely decline. She walks away and asks a client to walk to me and show me her dip color. I compliment her work but again, reiterate that I'm not interested in dip. The young lady that will service my pedicure is super sweet. I pick out a service that is not basic but also not the most luxurious. In conversation (in hopes of looking no further) I hint that I am looking for a new nail tech as my former one is no longer working. As she starts clipping my toe nails a man walks over with the same samples and books of dip color. I politely told him I needed the shellac colors. He proceeds to tell me I need dip. Then says the lady at the front said dip. I should have just stopped all of my services together right then and there. I tell him I know what I want and it's shellac. He rudely grabs the colors and brings back shellac options. I quickly pick out a color. Now, I notice that my feet are not soaking and she has finished clipping and filing my toenails. She Adds cuticle oil to my toes and guides my feet in for literally 3mins before she softly scrubs my feet. At this point the man hands me a pillow and setting up to do my shellac manicure. Odd. I didn't request it. It's a nail and spa so I assume it's one service at a time so you can relax and enjoy it. He struggles to hold a bowl so my finger nails can soak. I stop him and just say shellac polish only. As I'm annoyed I'm having to hold things to help him give a service. He doesn't seem too happy and starts roughly filing my nails. While that is going on my feet are done soaking she has quickly put lotion on, no massage. And already started putting a base coat on my toes. I stop her and ask if exfoliation, buffing of nails, cuticle cutting or cleaning under nails do not come with the service I chose and she says yes. I have to ask her to do it. WHAT?! She hands me the pamphlet and it CLEARLY says what it includes. She continues to tell me if I want those things I have to tell her. She proceeds to paint my toenails while I switch back to the guy and have to stop him twice bc he is being so rough with the file. I ask him if he can use a file w less grit or maybe use less pressure. He changes his attitude and QUICKLY finishes my 4 layers of shellac and walks off. I'm really REALLY missing my nail tech of 5 years at this point. As she finishes applying the last coat of top coat, I make an a line to check out. The lady that first greeted me was in services doing dip powder..SHOCKING. She gets up to check me out and asks how my services were. I tell her the truth. Show her dead, dry skin on my foot. She changes my spa package to basic pedi and tries charging me for dip manicure. I think I lost it at this point bc I ask her client what she loves about this place so much and she's speechless maybe shocked that I asked her but she didn't reply. I pay and still tip. She asks me what they can do to improve. I bluntly reply with stop marketing as spa if I'm going to have two services done at once. In and out in 53min when one service is said to take 55min according to the pamphlet. And also to get rid of nail polish and shellac options if all she's going to push on you is dip powder. If you're looking for a quick in and out place w multiple services W DIP POWDER done at once this is your place. If you're looking to treat yourself look elsewhere!!! read more

She probably spent a total of 15 minutes on my pedicure total while painting my toes. With my nails I got a full manicure and it felt like she was ripping off my cuticles. Terrible experience. Powder wasn't correctly done. It took David two hours to complete a fill and a polish change on my feet. No manicure or pedi, just color change on both finger nails and toenails. David was left fried powder all under my nails on my skin that would not come off with the brush when washing my nails. I went here for the first time this weekend. I went for a shellac manicure but they talked me into dip powder because it lasts longer and is better for your nails. I went in last Friday on 03/01 to treat myself and my Mom. We both got dip manicures and normal polish pedicures and I am extremely unhappy. Both of our dip manicures lasted LESS than a week! Mine lasted 3 days when one of them completely broke off and chipped! I had to go back to them and ask them to fix it, which granted they did but they shouldn't have had to in the first place. I've also noticed my pedicure is chipping as well and I've NEVER had this issue when I go to other salons. I am extremely dissatisfied that I wasted $180 for crappy jobs. My wife and daughter come here all the time with zero complaints. I've gone before for a pedicure and that was quit enjoyable as well. Today however, was probably my worst experience yet. I go in with my wife to do a couples pedicure. After the process begins the technician uses a stone of some sort and starts scraping the heel and bottoms of my feet. That stone must of had a coarse side to it because she started rubbing the side of my big toe and scrapped skin off. I mean she went to town like it was a cheese grater. I've never had rough feet, maybe around the heel of my feet but not on the side of my big toe. Holy crap that hurt like heck. Then she put some blood clot medication on there to stop the bleeding. Needless to say, I was told "I'm Sorry" at the end of the pedicure. Told the owner, I was given "you must have really thin skin". Umm, no! Not acceptable.
