This is a review of the online experience I had with the dealership. Communication started smoothly enough after I had requested additional information on a Rogue listed in their inventory, but it soon broke down. After I had test driven several different vehicle makes and models at other dealerships closer to home I was ready to make some offers. I had two deals fall through at Carr Nissan & Subaru, so I decided the Rogue at Alan Webb was in the running. I was looking forward to coming in for a test drive and potential purchase. However, I wanted to smooth out a few more details before I made the trek to Vancouver on a Friday evening so I emailed a few more questions. The person I interacted with was a weird dude. He tried to guilt trip me into believing he had done all this hard work for me by answering my questions and by not committing to buy the vehicle I was really letting down the "jolly fat man" (that is how he referred to himself). He went on to describe his hurt feelings to me and how I was taking advantage of him via my evil plan to use all of the information he provided me as leverage at another dealership. No, I just wanted to make sure I could afford the vehicle. I even explicitly stated my out the door price and asked if he found that reasonable, but he stopped responding. Anyway, I can see why this place has so many bad reviews. They could have had my business, but instead I ended up buying a Subaru. read more

We got a good deal for a car, but hassles tainted our experience. We have been looking for a low cost car for my daughter who heads to college soon. We were surprised to find a major dealer with just such a vehicle. 2010 Versa under 5k. We began communicating with the dealership via email, and it took about 2 weeks to get to see the car. When we got their, the staff treated us well and the car was what was advertised (although it had not yet been detailed, an odd thing after two weeks). We dealt with Manny over the internet, Heidi in person, AC (maybe AZ?) the sales manager. After a test drive we began negotiations. I did not have high expectations, and that was about what I received. It was the usual process: (1) Our price is a no haggle price (which is then haggled) (2) First counter is higher than the sale process (3) Let me talk to my manager (4) Move numbers around to make the same number look different. This is all pretty standard in a dealership, so I really cannot ding them for it (but it is annoying). The only exceptions were that I had brought in my own financing through our own credit union, and they negotiated that rate, then ultimately failed to bring what they promised. Yes, you read correctly, they took the rate my CU promised and offered a better one, then at the close of sale the final papers reverted to my CU rates. After purchase I was told it would take a few hours to get the car detailed. I told them I was in no hurry, but driving back up from Oregon was really not going to cut it. They promised to deliver the car wither part way or all the way to my Oregon residence the next day. Here is where the negative portions of the review apply. It took a week for the car to be finished, and we had to call daily for that information, and we had to drive back to the dealership to get it. Finally - we requested a copy of all repairs and the car fax on the car. We have requested it through at least three different departments. We have been promised it for the last few weeks. We still have not received it. So I would say this - we are happy with our car, and think we got a fair price (as fair as we could hope through a major dealership). If your only concern is a good car for a good price, see this as a four star rating. But there were a lot of headaches in the process, more than I have experienced in past dealership issues. If I do receive my often requested paperwork, I will likely raise this rating a star. ******* EDIT OF MY REVIEW Just a few hours after posting this I did receive the documents I had requested. I am raising my review a star as this was one of my complaints. However, I was also impressed with what those documents revealed. The car I bought had actually received a thorough servicing by the dealership, including brakes and struts and battery. TELEPHONE HARASSMENT! This dealerships Sales Manager, Tim, has contacted me on 5 different occasions. By phone, by text, leaving voicemails for a car that is not mine. I have never been to this dealership in my life!! I spoke to Tim on each occasion, politely asking him to stop. Today I spoke with him and asked him to not contact me again. 3 HOURS LATER I GET ANOTHER CALL!!! What makes it WORSE was the calls came from his personal cell phone!!!!!! After my huge disappointment with the service at the place where I bought my car, I looked around on the web and found this place. I gave it a try and haven't looked back since. That was over a year ago. The service people are polite but not in a sleazy way. They are cool. They communicate very well, explain every issue to the detail and give you options. I am sooo not car-smart but they never talk down to me. I feel comfortable here and I do not dread going to my car service appointment as I used to with the previous place. Now, I do with they had bigger waiting area with more seating - it gets full sometimes because people bring their kids and other family members. They have lied to me twice about my car. They said there's nothing wrong with it even though every time you drive it, it lurches and spikes Rpm's. They went as far as telling me to "drive it till it breaks". Now I have a $5,000 bill to fix my transmission because they don't want to have to fix it under warranty. Would not recommend If you're trying to get something done under warranty they will magically see absolutely nothing wrong with your car. read more

If I could give this place a zero star rating, I would. Anthony literally threw this deal in the trash. His attitude was awful. He bad mouthed other employees, he wouldn't stop talking long enough to hear anything we had to say. Once he could tell I was frustrated he dwelled on it and stopped answering any of my husband questions. I'm sorry but if he is "the big guns" that Alan Webb has now, we will take our business else where. The way he does business is greasy and sleazy. He is everything you dread when buying a new vehicle. To top off this experience, when we were leaving, there were two employees in the front of the build literally screaming, yelling and cussing at one another. They paused, looked at our family and kept going. I have emailed this to the two people that have blown up my email from Alan Webb Nissian inquiring about making a deal on the vehicle we were interested in. Both people have ignored the email and continued to keep hounding us for business. I don't believe anyone at Alan Webb Nissan is professional or proficient. We have done business with Alan Webb Nissan since 2007. We have a total of 16 cars being boughten between myself, husband, mother-in-law, sister, and cousins! I went over to Nissan to then look at their 370z's and they didn't have their flagship nismo model they had on their website. Time passed when I was looking for a Daly beater type of a car and I went through with a purchase of a Audi A4 and everything went fine but in the financial department. They ran my credit around 30 times with mad my score drop over 200 points. They will not look twice to run your credit just to see if it will get approval after the 30th time. This place is a joke. Took over a month to get my vehicle back. Poor employees. Kira tried telling my vehicle wasn't even there on day 3 and can never give you more than "someone will call you back" which they never do. Adam couldn't be reached and is the service manager for 2 weeks and his excuse was simply to busy. If I'm paying you to work on my vehicle I expect a call back within a day being reasonable. But no response in two weeks is ridiculous. They go out of there way to screw you out of warranty and ignore phone calls. Literally find anywhere to go besides this place if you want to save yourself a headache. And icing on the cake got my pickup back with new lights on my dash that were never there before and a nice scuffed tire. read more

Awful experience. They have had our truck more than we have!! The customer service is not up-to-par. . . .I've waited a minimum of 20 minutes to get checked in and then then will not return a call, won't make the call to update you on the status of your vehicle. They never have a part - have to order it so it's a minimum of 3 days out before they can even get back to your car. I've held and made return calls for over 2 hours before getting anyone in service or the receptionist!! It's constant turn-over with their people - obviously not a great place to work either! This is for the Service department. I bought my car from Carr Nissan in Portland but recently moved so started my service at this location. I called to set up the schedule for regular service on my car, mainly just an oil change with nothing else expected unless it came up in their standard inspection. I ended up having to reschedule and when I called, I was told that I didn't have an appointment as it was. This confused me as I had already set up the appointment, but the lady said if it was just for an oil change, I could just walk in and that was probably why they didn't bother scheduling me in the the first place. I told her, no, I didn't want to wait an hour or for just an oil change, so to schedule me. Today I went in for that scheduled appointment. When I asked for an ETA for work, I was told an hour. "For an oil change?" "Well, we have other cars we have to work on and you said your filters might need to be changed too." "Okay, well the filters can be changed only if they NEED to be changed, but I have a pregnancy appointment I need to get to, so it cannot take an hour." "Well, we'll do our best." I go and take a seat. 43 minutes pass without hearing anything so I go to check. They're working on my car, but only changed the filters and haven't gotten to the oil change yet. I am told it will be 15 more minutes for that and 15 minutes for the paperwork. I made an appointment to avoid that bs and the oil change was more important than the effing filters. I am due to give birth on Saturday and wanted to get the oil change out of the way to reduce the amount of things I have to worry about in the next few months. Now they can look forward to me bringing in a squalling infant to my next appointment to get the oil change since I had to leave without getting it done. I can't even get my oil changed somewhere else because I have a full maintenance plan on this car through Nissan and if I went somewhere else, I'd have to pay for it. Not a good experience. Recently traded in my Toyota truck to pick up a cargo van. Its been a few months. While I do like the vehicle, I realize I paid more than I should have and didn't push back hard enough when the offer wasn't what my salesperson and I discussed. My own fault of course. As a buyer, you should know your numbers and pick up tips on negotiating. The dealership is under no obligation to make sure we get a good deal. Given the trade-in value they applied and the overall vehicle price, they are not that concerned about maintaining customer loyalty. They run for maximum profit as many businesses do. Again - I signed the deal, If I were to do it again I'd read (and trust) the reviews here and elsewhere first before purchasing from Alan Webb Nissan. read more

Today's 60,000 mile service completed. I purchased the service plan as noted previously. (NEVER again). Apparently it is important to flush the brake fluid and coolant at 60,000 miles. Not important enough for Nissan to add to service plan, but important to get done. Unfortunately these two small tasks were going to cost an additional $360. This time my wife called me prior to giving OK. Lets do the math. Coolant $40.00 probably less for the dealer cost Brake Fluid $20.00 very generous again dealer probably has less cost. 45 minutes to complete ($300/45)*(60)= $400 per hour. read more

This post has been updated. Adjust your expectations. When a dealership has your car for 8 days to complete a heater core issue, logistics need to be secured. Had I known this going in, I suppose I could have better prepared. I was told they don't offer loaner cars and to go through Enterprise. Ok, that's fair. Initially. I guess. My car took longer than anticipated due to the part not coming in. Unsure where the ball was dropped (part not ordered, part wasn't in stock, part left behind). Yet when I'm having to call several times a day for an update, that's when the dealership dropped the ball. Once you knew the part wasn't there, it's then your job to communicate with your customer that information. At the point it was communicated with me, I told him I needed a car. A loaner was then offered up. Much much appreciated!! Truly! What I will say is the staff at the dealership was friendly. Never once rude. Even as I wandered the service/showroom area, other staff would ask if I needed assistance. Now for the suggestions for this business: Go back through your reviews, take note that MOST of the reviews say the same things...the service took far too long for the job they were in for and the loaner vehicle issue (within reason)...if you're there for a appointment and your vehicle is done on time (the day promised), then no loaner. However when your vehicle is delayed due to the dealership; please go above and beyond and offer that service to your customers. Then as far as timing, I'm not sure if your business is severely understaffed, poor time management, or what, but it shouldn't take 4 hours to change someone's oil, just like it shouldn't have taken 8 days to get my heater core repaired. Especially when steps are taken securing an appointment. I'm coming back to WA from AZ where the dealership I used to take my vehicle to would check and rotate my tires as well as top off all fluids. This was part of the service they offered if your vehicle was being serviced by them. Sure we 'paid' for it in fees of other jobs, but knowing they kept track of that was one less thing I needed to worry about on the daily. To summarize, adjust your expectations with these guys, as well as your schedule. Alan Webb, you CAN do better. Take note what your customers say. I'm not the only 'meh' review. My original review: They have had my car for over a week for replacing my heater core. Can't get any communication from them. It's like pulling teeth. They keep blaming it on how busy they are. I had an APPOINTMENT last week, yet this week still no car. Hell, I'm not sure my car is still there. Claim no loaner car for me to use. Car was promised Monday, it's Thursday and still no car. Walt and the team at Alan Webb Nissan were great! They contacted me about a special deal going on for Nissan Titans and that I should drive from Beaverton to see what it was. I liked the one they had in stock that I wanted and I took the small trip to Vancouver. Walt and Nate were very open and welcoming. They had the truck and I drove it. After some negotiations, we left off and I went home to discuss with my family. I didn't end up buying the titan but not because how I was treated. The GM got involved and was very accommodating. He wanted me to buy from there, but I already had purchased another brand by then. A great experience overall! I will be back when it's time for a Nissan or Mitsubishi. read more

Terrible "End of Lease" customer service!!! I leased a 2013 Nissan Leaf SL from Alan Webb Nissan in November 2012. They were very helpful getting me taken care of. My only mistake was letting them sign me up for an additional damage insurance during the closing section of the paperwork, where they try and add on additional charges. I was paying $25 more each month so that if there was some small type of damage, they would repair it for me. Apparently this service was offered through them, not Nissan Corp. At the end of the third year of the lease, I had the vehicular assessment done and a smallish scratch/rub was found on the rear passenger door. The assessor valued the cost of the repair at $125. I called Nissan Corp and explained that I had paid $900 in extra damage insurance, and surely they would simply fix the scratch and call it good. They said that was between me and the dealer who leased the car to me. Now, when i called the dealer asking if I needed to bring the car in and use their insurance to fix the scratch ahead of time, they said "no, just bring it in, as it is!" I did so, and they told me Nissan would get ahold of me if they wanted to add anything to the lease bill. And boy did they!! I got the $125 bill from Nissan Corp. Terrible way to keep a customer, Nissan. I was happy with your service, but am so disappointed with this, not sure I'll ever buy Nissan again. read more

I have had my car for only 3.5 years and had purchased it in Portland at the dealership. I moved to Vancouver so started taking my car here. The service is awful. Here is a list of all the things that have happened when I tried to get service here, please note these are ALL on different appointments unless otherwise noted: -I was Told I couldn't get a rental car or loaner car when I called before hand to make an appt for service. Not true. -Waited over an hour for my loaner car - this happened twice -Was told I couldn't give my info in advance for a rental car - I asked because it took over an hour twice and I have a job to get back to so it would've been nice to set it up before -had to start getting rentals because when I went to get my oil changed it took several hours even tho I had an appt. -Wouldn't get a mouse nest out of my car, they wanted $500. I took it down the street and they did it for $100 and my air filter was gone. When I called and said hey you forgot to put my air filter back they said no. Ummm well then you forgot last time I got my oil changed because it's the only place I have ever taken it. -my car was making a noise conveniently after an oil change here. I asked them to look at it and they first told me it was normal all of these types of cars do it. Umm I don't think cars make a chirping screech. I took it THREE times for this. The third time they said they could see if it was something else but they again wanted $500 to look at it. I took it to Portland and they fixed it no problem, it was just a belt. -went to get my 60k maintenance. Online I am quoted at $140. I get there, he tells me it's AGAIN $500. This must be their lucky number. I said umm no I just want what the factory recommends and show him the quote. He says no those prices are wrong it's $350 for those things. Then they said it was $40 but when it got time to pay it was $75. I am sure there are other things I have forgotten. Basically I don't trust them. They are scam artists and don't try to help you. It's the worst experience I have ever had with car service. They also have a really high employee turn over rate, I can see why. I will NEVER take my car here again. Their work was completely top shelf, though they did notify me when one particular hard water spot couldn't be removed from the car surface. If I could give NO STARS I would. My husband and I both have a Nissan. Unfortunately, this dealership is horrible at representing Nissan. Our bad experience happened at the parts dept. My husband brought a part in to be ordered. They then ordered a part that, when picked up 4 days later, was the wrong one and didn't even look the same. I went in today to return the part. I explained what happened, gave them the brand new wrong part back, in the box, with the receipt showing we paid $58 cash. Not one person took responsibility and apologized for their mistake. They then told me they don't keep that much cash on hand. Only $50. So they are going to request a check to be sent to me within 14 days! I asked to speak to a manager and neither one of their managers were even there. read more

I wish I had a wonderful experience to speak of with Alan Webb Nissan however other than my pleasant encounters with Kalei in Sales and Alex in Service my experience was quite unpleasant. I'll hold back the novel of details that I recorded along the way and simply give a fair heads up. If searching with this company for a certified pre-owned vehicle and considering spending the extra money I would recommend considering you ask for a free diagnostic check or have your own mechanic run a diagnostic check on it regardless of their certified pre owned inspection to avoid any oversights on the process. I purchased a certified pre owned thinking that I was safer on the road however the very next day experience water began leaking into my car from the rain and I found out after three attempts to rectify this issue that my windshield which had been signed off on in the certified inspection as safe was not properly sealed or installed and had to be completely replaced. Be sure to get two keys for the vehicle regardless of how many were given to the dealership when they took ownership because these keys can cost you (out of pocket) an easy $500 through the dealership if microchipped. You may want to ensure that you take the time to ask lots of questions regarding the warranties they will pitch you at closing as you may not necessarily need the extended if you decide to purchase a certified pre owned considering it is the same length of time as the certified pre owned warranty but may include different coverages and cost you $2400 extra also you may still have a original manufacturers warranty left on top of that depending how new the vehicle is. The last piece of advice I can give after my experience with this dealership is ensure you take your time to ask questions and get all the answers you need before signing anything and don't let the finance agent rush you through the signing as he did, you have the right to be completely aware and in charge of ever single decision you make during your car purchase. Should any issues arise I can only speak for my experience but finding quality customer care and finding a resolution are going to be tough as this is not their strong point and your sales agent will pretty much only end up being just that. Although my sales agent was lovely during the buying process anything as far as the issues I experienced later down the line "were not in his department to handle", therefore get ready for the run around through the different venues of the dealership to book appointments, get diagnostics, get follow up, ensure accuracy, and even confirm a rental car which were all very time consuming and up to me to fight for. Alex and Kalei were pretty much my saving grace in this whole situation and I could vouch for their integrity and genuine customer care to take care of their customers and really take it above and beyond, however just be smart and cautious when dealing with the rest of your buying process here as it could be a dead end if issues arise and you are not protected. read more

Beware Alan Webb. They didn't have the model of Leaf I was looking for on the lot, but said one would arrive in a few weeks and I could lock in at the current lease rates. I signed some paperwork with Michael Tower and thought my search was over but I learned the hard way that the lease rates are not guaranteed until you sign the actual contract. When I came back I was shocked to discover the story had changed and my monthly payment would be higher. I would chalk it up to pure inexperience but I brought my father along the first visit and he also had the impression that we were given the message that the deal was "locked in". I ended up buying from Nissan of Portland but the weeks of waiting cost me ~$1300 over a two-year lease due to missing out on the better lease rates from Nissan USA. What is sad is that I had bought a previous car from Alan Webb years ago and they lost a potential life-long, loyal customer over this situation. read more

Another 1 star review. Had an engine light issue. The problem is trying to call these guys. Otof 6 calls or so, actually once got a knowledgeable person in service. Its how the rest of the calls were handled that concerns me. First, the phone rings a bit, goes to one of those wonderful voice mail menus. "Push 3 for service", rings a bunch more. 2 times no answer at all, cues to leave a voice mail, neither call returned to date. 1 time just rang forever. 1 time actually got a rather "poopy" woman in service who couldn't answer a simple question, then put me on hold transferring my call for about 10 minutes before I hung up where all I got to do is listen to endless Webb commercials about their "excellence". As an aside, someone there needs to look up the definition of the word excellence. Finally called corporate and asked them to pass this on to the dealership, still nothing. Will have to try the independents or Portland the next time. read more

Their service department is amazing!!!! I would give them 8 stars if I could. I bought my Nissan Versa, my first car, from Allan Webb about a year ago. The salesman had me leaving feeling like I had one pulled over on me, but I'm pretty sure he was grandfathered in and no longer works there. You could tell that everyone else in the room was very apologetic about my sentiments (which I made known). Also, mind you I'm weird about money and that is more than I've ever spent on anything. Soo.... back to the good stuff. Their service team is incredibly friendly, they will check out your car for free and even wash it for free. The costs of services there is a little more than your cheap-o places (about 45$ for an oil change I believe) but with service ethics like that and the ease of making apts and such, I'd say if you're into convenience and niceness, it's more than worth it. :) read more

Alan Webb did something I have never had done by a car dealership before. They made me whole. When they realized the misunderstanding, they worked hard to correct it. Because of this diligence, we decided to return as customers. We even brought our daughter in with some very strict income guidelines and they were able to work with us to get us into a car that doesn't over extend her financially but will be reliable. Boston cares more about the satisfaction of his customer than he does how much his commission will be. We really appreciated his attention and concern for ensuring our needs were met. We didn't even shop around first, which is highly uncommon for me. I typically do a bunch of research in advance. Justin was also excellent to work with. He likewise cared more about making sure our daughter was happy with her purchase and able to afford it than making the most from the vehicle that was possible. Both of the vehicles we purchased from them were extremely well priced and we definitely feel well taken care of. I will be returning in a few months with my older son for his vehicle purchase, and if the trend continues, I'll return for myself and my other son when we're both ready this year as well. I know I am a negotiator and not always the easiest customer on the planet. I ask for the moon and settle for the stars, but they made concessions one some things before I even had to ask! read more

Only because I cannot rate it a zero. My wife bought a platinum Pathfinder after work one evening about 3 weeks ago. The car was dirty, and not ready to drive home, but my wife drove home any way, and was told to bring it back in to have it cleaned. After looking at the car in the daylight I noticed it had severe water spotting on the paint, and even worse residual spotting in the door jambs. Not sure what they washed it with, but it look like Boraxo. I called a week ago Friday evening to ask if I could bring the car in and have it detailed, and the spots removed. It took 5 tries before someone answered the phone. He said bring the car in the next day (Saturday) and they would take care of the problem. When I got there a salesman, don't know his name, but he was smoking in my face and even coughed on me, said no one was there to help me from that department. I gave him my business card, and asked for him to have someone contact me. I believe it was supposed to be Erin. Well, it is a week later and no call. This is the first Nissan I have purchased as I have always been loyal to Toyota and Honda. The experience has been terrible. I feel this dealership doesn't care about my patronage. They can't even return my call to try and resolve my issue. It really isn't that big of a deal in the scheme of things, but I would like to have them resolve it. I guess the only way to try and solve this is to call the Nissan Customer Service line and share my story. Not recommending the dealership at this point in time. read more

Purchased our 2012 Ford Focus initially back in October of 2016, made final payment in March 2017. Still have no received a title. Purchasing experience was honestly fairly smoothe with an easy experience and what I believed to be a faor price. I will gladly change this review once I have the title in hand that I paid for almost eight months ago. But the reality is that my wife and I have chased through three different institutions now to find our title, at the direction of Allen Webb, with still, no title. I understand mistakes happen, but I signed a contract with Allen Webb that I would pay an agreed price then recieve the title for the vehicle. That has not happened. I upheld my end of the deal and paid the contract in full. Give me the title, or handle the documentation and fees assosciated with issuing a new one, or return my funds and I will return the vehicle. read more

I have had a horrible experience with this service department!! I dropped my car off on Saturday May 26th and was told I would hear what the problem was by Tuesday. Well on Wednesday they told me they needed to order a part and that it would be done by Thursday ( 5/30). Sounded OK, well now its June 4th and I cannot get anyone to tell me what happened to my car. I will never use this dealership again and would steer anyone looking at getting service work done here to another shop. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a dealer. Update 6/12/19 Shortly after posting the above review the service manager reach out to me. Apparently there were short staffed which was why they said things were so delayed. Since this interaction I have received a few calls checking in. They have certainly tried to make a better experience since my initial interaction. read more

Got a $500 trade in quote from Alan Webb Nissan, with a lot of talk about how the car is old (2013) and high mileage (122,000) and not worth much. The next day we drove to Car Max where we walked away with a $4000 check. Thanks for the generous offer, Nissan, but no thanks.... read more
