Service was great there was an older gentleman working it alone and it got busy, but he still managed it and worked his butt off! Very charming place raspy cozy. Food was yummy!!!

Nice place. The food was not bad. This was my first time trying Borscht and it was surprisingly good. Also tried the honey cake and thought it was dry.

The meat dumplings is super delicious! The sweet and spicy sauce that accompanies the dumplings are also very delicious. So good we ate it all and asked for more. The soup was also good. Service was also excellent!

Small little place in small strip mall. There's a bunch of tables to dine in if you like. They have a nice clean bathroom ( always a plus in my book). My kids have gone here before and were raving about the beef pierogi so we all stopped in for lunch. So there was a selection of fillings you can choose from and the style they're prepared. We ordered the potato mushroom, the beef and pork, potato cheese and bacon and the beef. You can order in different sizes-12,18 or 24. Son got the 24, the rest of us got the 18 which was enough to make us pretty full. Son was stuffed. I'd say get the 18 and and appetizer. We all agreed that the beef with classic Alaskan style (without the sriracha) was the best. The potato mushroom loaded the least favorite- too bland. The chicken soup was pretty good but the borscht! Wow! It was so good with pieces of meat, potato and beet. Best borscht I have tasted so far. We also got a cheese and potato piroshky which was light and flaky, not super dense and heavy like others we've had. It was on the small size- kind of the size of a MacDonald's apple pie. But it was yummy. AND the beer was $5 as long as you order food! To top it off we shared the honey cake. It looked like it would be dry but no, it wasn't and it had a nice honey flavor which wasn't overly sweet. Thumbs up for this place

Not sure what's going on. Don't order via DoorDash. This was taken 12/8/24. Hoping for the best, they have wonderful food!

Love these guys! I'm not sure what's going on, but do not order on DoorDash. This is from 12/09/24. Wishing them nothing but the best, we love their food!

First of all the place is vertical and not horizontal. Meaning, most of the seating is upstairs. There are some seating downstairs but very limited. So, if you are ADA you might have a problem. The staff here were nice and friendly. They were very helpful in helping us select items from the menu. Food was prompt and hot. The dumplings were delicious! However, my wife liked mine better and I liked hers better. So we kinda traded. I am looking forward on coming back soon!

The first time we ate a casual lunch here, ordered the veg soup with chicken dumplings and beet borscht, plus the two dessert cakes to go. The veg soup is a clear broth with small bits of veggies, mostly carrots and lots of onions. The dumplings were a decent portion, very uniform in size. Its good for a craving, but the borscht seemed more homemade and hearty; it was much more satisfying and filling, especially due to the very generous portion of soft beef cubes, and the beets were nice and chunky. The beef cubes were, like the chicken dumplings, also very uniformly sized, so no yukky bits. The cakes were both rich tasting yet had subtle flavors; had never tried them before. The second time we ate lunch here, ordered the same two main dishes; was counting on the borscht being as filling, but it was not, there were only a few chunks of beef, and the sour cream had gone off. Maybe will try again...

They have a switchback line in the street across from the restaurant as they don't want you blocking the sidewalks. Smart move. We really wanted to eat here, so on Sunday we arrived at around 8 am and there wasn't a line. We had the best breakfast. I ordered the egg, hash browns, and cheese. It was warm, soft, and filling. I also got the apple blossom which was really good. I loved the fresh fruit in my pastry. For dessert I got the chocolate hazelnut one. I was so full that I haven't finished it yet. I highly recommend you come here. Bring your patience. Also buy more than you think you will eat as it will be so good and you won't want to stand in line again. They have a couple of benches out front so you can eat your finds right away. We lucked out that they are free. Make sure you grab napkins before you head out. The napkin rack is on the wall.

SOOOOOO YUMMY. Easily my favorite of everything we tried. I also ordered the Uli's Sausage Jalapeño, which was delicious as well. Hubby ordered the monthly special (a Bacon Cheeseburger) and had some ordering regrets after trying mine. Fortunately, he also got the Potato & Cheese, which he really liked. Both of us said that next time, we'd order one savory and one sweet item instead. Definitely worth a stop!

This market had the largest collection of any of the desserts I have seen and I have even been to bakeries that specialize in them. It was a dream looking through those display cases and my mouth was watering. (See video) Beyond the desserts though, I really enjoyed browsing this market. From what I understand, this is a Ukrainian-owned grocery store, bakery and Cafe and many of the products they sell here are imported from Ukraine. There were lots of things that you don't typically see at a regular grocery store, and I was especially excited for the sweets and snacks. I got some french macarons and lemon squares in addition to the other bakery items and I even found some soda flavored popcorn. It was... Interesting. It's always fun to try something new! They also had a gorgeous flower selection and a nice seating area inside. If that wasn't enough, they even have private outdoor dining domes where visitors can sit and eat. (I snapped a photo of them on the side of the building as we were leaving.) So, when you do stop here to try out some of the delicious baked goods, you'll have a nice place to sit and enjoy the experience. This is definitely a spot worth checking out and supporting and if I lived closer I would visit often.

The…read moremenu features a bunch of dishes in Central Asia, with fitchi being the star of the show, as the name of this establishment suggests. Fitchi is a stuffed pastry from Uzbekistan/Turkmenistan, and surprisingly when I googled what fitchi was, there weren't a whole lot of search results, so I am ready for a special culinary adventure! When we arrived, it was 2pm and we got the last table and had to wait for 2 chairs to be unoccupied, since it is a place where you sit anywhere and grab chairs from other tables if you need for larger groups. We got 1 chicken and 1 beef fitchi to share, which was $5.50 each + tax, which is a really good deal considering the size of the fitchi. Food does take a while to get since they make fresh to order, so expect 20-30 minutes wait for the food. It was a bit interesting the fitchi is served with a side of ranch, and the server gave us 2 spoons and 2 knives to eat it. The beef fitchi is amazing - very flavorful and juicy. The chicken fitchi is also good but does not carry the level of seasoning as the beef one, but you should try both. Overall, solid, humble restaurant to check out food that you don't typically see often!

Unfortunately, there was only one guy working, so he had to take the order, prep and make everything. This took a little bit, I want to say over 30 minutes, which I suppose is fair given our order. Fitchi is a curious place, I've passed it numerous times and saw that it's "Eastern Cuisine", yet they make Pizza too. These sort of "multi cuisine" places always make me a bit nervous. They've got, pizza, turkish food, pasta there is a lot going on in here. We got a Milano pizza pie - pepperoni, olive, mushroom, sausage. It was better than I thought, I give them credit on this one but still just alright. Cheesy bread which I think was the best thing we got - decent cheesy and herb flavor on these with 2 dipping sauces. They were out of wings, so we got 'dumplings?' I didn't even realize my buddy ordered these until we got back and they were a mess. They were mushy and falling apart with every bite. Not a lot of flavors even with the sauces to dress it up. Overall Fitchi was ok. Pizza just ok, Cheesy bread good. Dumplings no good. Service, kinda eh for a Saturday night. The indoor seating was in disarray from people dining in, but no staff to clean up the tables so it looked messy in there. I'd consider giving it another shot here as they have a huge menu of options, but until then, it's OK here.
