We came here because of all the positive reviews but what a disappointment. We did not enjoy the taste of the meat in the dumplings (beef and pork). The mashed potato and cheese dumplings were ok. The Alaska style is just gross. It is overpowering with vinegar and curry. Very sharp with no balance. The pirogi was most disappointing. Shaped like a triangle and looked nothing like a pirogi. Dough was greasy and meat was dry. The Borscht was watered down and flavorless. All I heard in the kitchen was microwave timers so that is what I expect heated most my food. I was really hoping to enjoy this place but it was a big let down. read more

I had the borchst and a meat perogi it was delicious and quite filling. My wife had the mushroom and cheese and potato and cheese all was a meal for us and it was priced real reasonable. Will definitely go back again. read more

Y'all! This place is beyond delicious! We had beef & pork Alaskan classic dumplings, the beef dumpling soup and a potato mushroom pierogie. I'm still licking my lips! The broth is homemade chicken full of flavor. The peirogie is in a crispy baked bed of goodness. And the price is beyond reasonable, we ate like God's for less than $25. I had nooo idea this gem was literally 5 mins from our house. We will for sure be regulars. read more

4 stars because the food here has always been great I've tried all the flavors of dumplings and they're all super yummy. My kids always have their fish sticks which are great too. I took one star away though because everything said they should have been opened when I ordered, including their hours on the front of the restaurant and when I ordered online the order went through and money taken out of my bank account. When I got the notification that my order was ready I showed up and the store was closed. Luckily the order cancellation and refund was quick. I would suggest calling in orders not made in person and not using the online links! read more

I was really pleasantly surprised with Alaskan Dumplings. The Buffalo sauce was tasty and not too spicy, and the classic was very vinegary (in a good way). The dumplings themselves were perfectly cooked, but I couldn't tell the difference between the potato and the mushroom- they all tasted the same to me. By far the worst food I've ever paid 30 dollars for. First off we should have left when I heard a microwave door slam shut. 3 minutes after we order our pirogies arrived, obviously microwaved. I have no clue what that meat filling was but I've never seen white beef before so I was confused by the white color. Then come the microwaved wings. Lady couldn't even do that right, they came out cold. Then came the dumplings. We got the meat dumplings and the toppings were ice cold including the shredded cheese. I can't believe people have left positive reviews for this place. I spent 30 dollars on food I wouldn't feed a pig. I will never be back. I need a refund. Side note I've been in the restaurant industry for 20 years and I know when a place is serving processed over priced food. read more

Excited to try a new restaurant but we were left unfulfilled. My husband and I tried the meat pierogi to start with, which was delicious. My husband had the dumplings with "loaded" toppings which were fine. I ordered the dumplings with the Alaska sauce and wow, I could not handle the acidic vinegar taste and had to ask for some sour cream to add so I could get the dumplings down, they were not edible otherwise, in my opinion. Also the server left us sitting there at the end of our meal, after she cleared our plates and asked us if we wanted anything else and we said no, she never came back. I finally had to walk up to the counter to get the bill and pay. There was only 1 other table besides us so I'm not sure what the hold up was. Sad to say we will not be going back. read more

Horrible experience. Me and my family actually didn't end up ordering anything and left. They don't have ice for drinks, they sell soda by the can, no refills.(which I think is completely ridiculous) And the waitress was so not friendly at all. She was very quiet and had some type of attitude. I was excited to try this place out, but I will not be coming back here. read more

Hands down the most amazing piece of cake I have ever eaten... the dumplings were incredible too but WOW the Russian cake... incredible and so beautiful. I thought this place was great. Had pierogies and dumplings, both were excellent. Tried the buffalo sauce and the original Alaska sauce. Both were very good. It is a bit disappointing to see some of these reviews give one and two stars based solely on the business working out some service kinks. Pretty tasty little dumplings. My wife and I tried one of each from Doordash. The sweet & spicy is far and away the best of the bunch, though none were bad. Good value, delivered fast and hot in above average, microwave safe, packaging. We'll be ordering again in the future. read more

It was our first time here and we felt their food was average. It probably will not be a place we'd go out of our way for. The service here isn't very fast, so, expect to wait. They don't have a very large drink selection and the beers here were lukewarm. As for the dumplings, the various sauces that accompany them are unique. Our dumplings were lukewarm and what was the most disappointing part was that we could hear the microwave beeping in the background and someone opening/closing the microwave. We were hoping for fresh, made-to-order dumplings, but from the taste of it, we could tell they were processed. For the quality of food that we received, we felt it was expensive. We've been here twice and always enjoy the food. The dumplings are tender and flavorful. We're still exploring the menu but have liked what we've tried. The kids inhale the food. Two things can be intimidating when you show up the first time. 1. They run with very lean staff - just grab a seat and flag them down when they come out of the kitchen. Think of it like visiting someone's house. If you're in a hurry you might get frustrated- get take out. 2. The old menus were a bit confusing but the new ones we saw today are much clearer on how to order. The portions may not be expansive looking but they're dense and you won't go home hungry. We stumbled in because the Thai place was closed. I'm so glad we did! We split a meat pierogi which was pretty good. I got half chicken/pork dumplings and half potato cheese with the sweet and spicy sauce. My husband got the same dumplings with buffalo sauce. They were all fantastic! Service was fast.
