I love how the team is doubling down on their insistance that I'm the problem. Once again, I never received a message about a separate delivery. If there's a recording it's entirely possible that they dialed a wrong number. It's entirely possible that someone mistakenly told me at purchase that they would be delivered together. The fact that this company refuses to admit that they might have made a mistake only proves my point. I cancelled my order because the team was being explicitly rude, not because I wanted it all to be delivered together (or whatever their paperwork apparently says happened). The transaction I'm describing took place in September 2025. However, I'm shopping for more appliances and it reminds me why I'll never use Albert Lee again. I purchased a dishwasher and washer/dryer to be delivered and installed. I was sent multiple texts saying that my items would be delivered in a certain window. Specifically, 4:00pm to 6:00 pm on a Friday. I received multiple confirmations, including the night before. At 7:30 that Friday morning I received a phone call from an unfamiliar area code. (I get tons of spam calls, so it wasn't unusual.) I didn't answer because I screen for spam. Seconds later I got a text from my area code saying that my delivery is 8th on the list and my appliances were still expected between 4 - 6pm. I was even sent a link to a map so I could track the location of the delivery vehicle. They were several towns away. Nobody left a voice mail, so I assumed it was spam and I went about my day. Around 2pm I got a messaging saying that I had not been home to receive my delivery, and I needed to call to reschedule. Tracking still showed my items two towns away. I called the store for clarity. I was told that they had arrived at 7:30 that morning, and I hadn't answered the door or their phone call so they left. I hadn't heard anyone at the door, and my dog would have lost her mind if someone had knocked. I explained that there seemed to be a glitch in their system. They refused to listen, insisting that it was my responsibility to be there, they had sent multiple messages about my delivery window, and that it was my fault they hadn't been delivered. I offered to show them the texts. This person refused to believe me and insisted that I reschedule. An important detail: that same morning I learned that a beloved family member was being moved into Hospice, and I was in the middle of making arrangements to fly to another state ASAP. I wanted to find out if AL could complete the install that day as promised, because I wasn't sure when I would be back in town. I mentioned this as a hurdle to rescheduling, and instead of showing empathy or trying to work through it, the associate seemed huffy and irritated that I had follow-up questions. Finally, I asked for a manager, thinking maybe this was just a specifically difficult associate and I might have a more productive conversation with someone else. I was told the manager would call me back. Close to 5pm I had to pull the trigger on travel arrangements and couldn't wait any longer. I called and asked someone who answered (different person) if the manager had received my message and if I could expect a call back that day. The receptionist (as she described herself) was outright hostile, telling me the manager was in a meeting and she had no idea if he could get back to me. Again, I explained my circumstances and her response was, and I quote, "What do you want me to do? It wasn't MY fault." I said goodbye, but a moment later I called back and canceled my order. I later received a terse email from the manager of the Silverdale branch. He explained that because my dishwasher was being installed by a last-mile delivery service, it had a different delivery and installation time from the washer and dryer, and that I had "received a call about it the night before." I checked my call log, and there were no missed calls. I didn't pursue it because there was no accountability, and no sympathy whatsoever during an incredibly difficult time. I was met with hostility while asking for help, and suspicion instead of curiosity. I purchased the same appliances through Costco, and while they were the same price as AL, installation was free. It was hassle-free, the installers were incredibly professional, and the entire experience was pleasant. I love supporting family-owned businesses. I assumed the benefit would be more personal customer service, but in this case I was wrong. Two stars because the purchasing experience was pleasant, and from what I was told the salesperson was out of town and couldn't fix the delivery predicament. I feel badly, because it's his commission they lost. read more

We have been working with him for over 7 months on a home renovation that faced significant timeline setbacks due to insurance and construction delays. Matthew was incredibly patient and supportive through the entire process. He proactively reached out to help us lock in pricing before manufacturer increases, which saved us money. He was also extremely flexible when we needed to change our order multiple times. He even provided technical advice regarding code requirements for our range hood and makeup air kit. This review is about Alber Lee's customer service after a sale. I purchased a Beko upright freezer and a Beko dishwasher from Albert Lee, both in 2023. The diswasher has never worked quite right, about 25% of the time it will not start. I contacted Albert Lee customer service and sales right after we purchased it and we were told it was user error. We continue to have issues with getting it to start consistently. The upright freezer has failed after two years, and there is nobody in the area to service it. I have contacted Albert Lee to get help from them, and customer service only told me to google service repair shops in the area, which of course I already have done. We have been loyal to Albert Lee for many years prior to these purchases and have thought of them as a trusted partner. Maybe it's the Beko brand that is the issue, or maybe Albert Lee is just not interested in long term satisfaction. Either way, I will be taking my business elsewhere, as they have shown no interest in standing by the products they sell. read more

I recently purchased a new dish washer from Albert Lee. The saleswoman convinced me that their $200.00 installation fee was better than free installation with other stores, because they would take care of everything during the installation vice other retailers that would only install if no modifications to electrical or plumbing hookups were required. When the installers came, they told me that they could not install until a plumber replaced my plastic shut-off valve with a metal one. They left the new washer and told me to let Albert Lee know when the valve was replaced. Albert Lee misrepresented their installment services and I'll have to hire a plumber to replace the working valve before they can install the dishwasher. read more

Albert Lee quickly coordinated a service company to come help, but the washer needed a replacement part. Manufacturer ignored us and the part wasn't to be found! But Albert Lee Silverdale to the rescue -- not only did they stay in regular touch to be sure the issue was being take care of but they made good on every promise. Finally have a new working washer and I'm thrilled with their service. Things sometimes happen with big appliances ... but from sales to service Albert Lee never let me down. Went onto the Silverdale store. It was not that busy. I got an automatic hello when I entered but then nothing. I went upstairs, encountered three sales people on the way who were engaged with other customers. Fine. I can wait, which I did upstairs and then downstairs. After 15, 20 minutes I left. No one said anything. Two were sitting in front of their computers looking bored. No acknowledgement from anyone. I tried calling right after i walked out the local number for the Silverdale store on a hunh. Basically I wanted to find out what delivery costs were and to find out why I should buy there instead of someplace else. No one answered so it rolled over to the Tacoma store, which answered but she then transferred me to Sales, the it was wait, wait. I hung up. Going to buy at Costco. read more

My neighbor is 87 years old and they have taken total advantage of her. She bought a stove and a microwave from them and has been having issues since she purchased them. Back in August and no one will return her calls or come close to helping resolve the issues.. My neighbor has gone into the Albert Lee store to talk to people. But to no avail. I bought a JennAir range from Albert Lee Silverdale. It was delivered on schedule. I was told to expect installation to be about $500. My old range had to be disabled when the electrical wiring was changed to accommodate the new range. Then I had to wait a week for the installer to show, and he ghosted me once. For 3.5 hours work, he charged me $1100! And when he left, I discovered the range was not working, and was scratched. It took 5 weeks to get everything resolved, so I was without a working range for a long time. The problem turned out to be the manufacturer had left a silica gel pack in the exhaust fan, so it wouldn't turn, and so the stove wouldn't run. When things went wrong, both the Albert Lee Salesman and the Customer Service rep started pointing fingers in all directions, and passed me over to another repair company that does warranty repairs for JennAir and then Albert Lee disappeared. They stopped replying to my emails and phone calls. I sent a long email message to the Albert Lee Customer Service website complaining about my experiences, and now several weeks later I have heard nothing. So the bottom line -- Albert Lee takes your money, and if something goes wrong you are on your own! Forewarned, forearmed. I certainly will not do business with them again. read more

Thinking of doing business locally, i went in to the store , they had what I needed. was going to be delivered in a week ( this was important to me as i had commitments cook ) ,but they could not deliver, first it was a week late ,only found this out after calling pick up location. next week again now show even through they assured me it would have come in .and i went to pick up location .... they were happy to sell me a more expansive unit , that according to sales person was in their warehouse (like the other unit that never show up)..... We purchased a Miele Stackable washer and ventless dryer in Silverdale. We were leery about trying a ventless/heat pump dryer but we cannot say enough about how great it works. We have a very small space and decided to take a chance. So glad we did. The washer cleans better than any washer we have ever had and after the last spin cycle, the clothes are almost dry. It even has a "dress shirt" setting that really does a great job on expensive shirts. It is smaller in overall size but holds as much as a standard washer. A real workhorse! Our sales person was so knowledgeable. He explained the new technical aspects in a way that we understood and made sense. He was so patient and clear in answering our many questions. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the machines, the sales experience, and the delivery and setup. Very happy customers! read more

Albert Lee is our go-to place to buy appliances. The service is exceptional and the prices are great. We were very pleased with how flexible they are with our timeline. They were able to reserve our kitchen appliances months out so we could purchase during a sale even when we did not know when we could take delivery as it was dependent on our kitchen remodel being done. Then, when we had our washer go out on us and need replacement, they had a new one in 2 days after we bough it. Both the delivery for the washer & dryer, and the delivery for the kitchen appliances went very smoothly and they did a great job. Matthew Eddleman was the sales associate who helped us and there were a few times I had to call or email him with questions and he was always very helpful. We have come into Albert Lee a few times and the staff is always very knowledgeable but never pushy. Sean Cooper eagerly undertook the search for the replacement part, but then kindly directed me to the Silverdale store. After just moving to Bremerton area we learned our refrigerator only 2 years old was broken beyond repair unless a large amount of money was invested. We decided on a new unit and began searching local appliance stores. We found what we wanted at Albert Lee with help of Bonnie Bailey in the Silverdale store. After hearing our unit was dead Bonnie was able to have our delivery date moved up. The two delivery guys were awesome. They were careful not to damage walls or door jams. Need to get an electric range because ours quit and was hopeful to get one and bring it home the same day. Two big box stores don't keep any in stock and a third one only had two in stock. We ended up here to see what they had. The store is two stories with top a big showroom and downstairs a smaller showroom and checkout counters. The first person to help us May have been a phone salesperson. I asked her what they had in stock and she said they had a clearance area that we could take the item home that day. She took us there then told us she would go get a salesman that could help us. The next person to help us was a manager. He showed us in the showroom what he thought they had in stock, we talked about different features and the he offered to lookup on the computer to see what exactly was in stock. As he was doing that and we were still talking about our old range a salesman said the way ours was made isn't common anymore and only two companies make them. The manager said the salesman could help us better and so he took over. The salesman, Joe, told us what they had in their warehouse, 3 different ones, the difference between them and when it could be delivered. The outcome is a range that will be delivered and installed in three days with the old one taken away. The price was what would be expected at big retailers but the service a feel was better. Would come back here again but hope all the appliances keep working. Update on the delivery day they called like I had asked and actually came out earlier then scheduled. Fine for me. The delivery people were very careful and professional. They removed the old appliance and installed the new one then checked it out to make sure it worked. We needed a new washer and dryer for our shared family place out in Grapeview (up a gravel drive, no less), and finding anyone who could deliver one out there was an ordeal. Then I called Albert Lee in Silverdale, and Amy said it would be no trouble to deliver, and she provided plenty of info on the available models that would fit our space (and budget), and locked in the price for me while we decided. We picked one and ordered it before long. On delivery day, Jason and Joe were on time and friendly, and got the old w/d out and the new one in with no problems at all. this the worst customer service ive ever received. i contacted them to purchase a dishwasher. we had purchased from them when we had our kirkland home . this dishwasher was for our second home at the beach. i was told that i could purchase, but there was a huge delivery charge, no installation, no removal of their old dishwasher. when i asked why i was told they dont like dealing with individuals only contractors. americans deserve better treatment. i went to the only appliance store left instead of a box store. perhaps they would want peoples business if we all stopped calling them. then the contractors can buy directly from the manufacturers. dont buy from any of their stores...we all deserve better service. read more

We recently purchased a dishwasher from Albert lee. Very helpful and great deal. We were happy enough to return to purchase a refrigerator. Found a seemingly good deal on an " open box" bosch refrigerator. Salesman Jay Spaulding. Over the phone sale...our fridge had died and we needed a replacement in a hurry. Was assured that it had a manufacturer warranty...works for me...I dont mind a scratches, dings whatever....likely have a few of my own added pretty quick.....whatever. When picking the refrigerator up it was referred to as a clearance item. ...sounds about right It was all wrapped up and ready to go....perfect....they loaded it..I was in a hurry...just outstanding. Get it home and find zero paperwork,...and.... the darn thing is used. Literally....food pieces in every drawer, stains and scratches on every shelf....dirtier than the fridge we were replacing $2500 bucks and a 2 1/2 hour round trip for a used refrigerator. And not even cleaned enough to hide the fact. Am I done with these guys...yep... will I recommend them...nope Sorry...this is straight up shifty...they know exactly what they did..there is no way this was an accident. This was intentional misleading very poor buisness practise....you all should absoluty be ashamed of yourselves. So now what? I had food thawing and headed for spoiling at a high rate of speed...its 9pm...my wife cleaned it and now we are stuck...we both have to work tomorrow..it was highly inconvenient to have to buy a fridge to start with....now....the prospect of repeating the whole process....because we got literally scammed... is just suoer depressing....another dissapointment in humanity thing....this experience has just been rude ..in light of the whole pandemic thing would you want to know the appliance you just bought had been in someone else home for who knows how long Very bad taste here albert lee. Not likely to repeat that mistake So ..this review is to help protect the next guy.. .but what do we do here? I am going to bed trying to decide...do I insist I get our money back? If you are looking for the absolute worst customer service on the planet, look no further....... Their website is fake (they have none of those appliances in stock). The salespeople are never "available", just like the appliances. I wanted to do business with a local business, but this one? Never again. They knew that I needed a refrigerator, as mine had been broken for months. I waited and waited as they changed delivery dates FOUR TIMES. I finally just purchased something that they verified that was "in stock". It cost $2000.00 more than the one I wanted. Now I have had it for 20 days and it's a piece of crap. Are they helpful now?
