Pizzas: white boy, jabroni and margherita
    Jocelyn N.

This is a hidden gem. Friends and I enjoyed a girls lunch here recently and everything was incredible. The drinks were great and our server was so attentive and friendly. The space is bright and clean and intimate. The menu varies but we ordered a large Caesar salad and the meatball appetizer to split, followed by three pizzas: the white boy, the jabroni (pepperoni) and a margherita. The white boy was by far our favorite but the others were amazing as well! I wish we had thought about dessert before we left because I've heard great things about the tiramisu.

Stopped here for a nice meal before the Steelers game! We sat at the bar and were warmly greeted by the bartender. We had a gin drink with cucumber and watermelon as well as a local beer on draft- both half price for happy hour. For dinner we shared a small Caesar Salad which was unique and delicious as well as the Zen Za. Easy walking distance to the stadium. Great find!

Great across the board. I had a pizza with pepperoni and red onion. It was a specially pizza and delicious. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be back for it. Drinks were fun and refreshing. The only down side is a table for two is at the bar. The booths seemed to be saved for parties of 4 or more. It was crowded when we went and the atmosphere was welcoming. Must try!

Recently went here on a double date. It was perfect. Neighborhood gem: dim lighting feels romantic but also it had a very laid back feel. Za was excellent, my favorite is the margarita! Dirty Martini alert here

Great place! I've been wanting to try out Alberta's for some time now and so glad I did. The restaurant was cute and had a laid back vibe. Service was attentive and quick. The food was delicious. My favorites were the foccocia with whipped ricotta and the cry baby pizza. The pizza was crispy and flavorful. Definitely can't wait to come back!

Hot sopp is the best pizza! The service was standard and it was a slower night. We got the focaccia this time to try it and it was underbaked and gummy and definitely not focaccia. The zucchini fries were outstanding. The pizza was great as always. One of our favorite date night spots in the city

Amazing! My partner and I both loved this place! The servers were great, oysters on point, artichoke app was delish and the pizza was awesome. The cocktails were also great. Definitely recommend and also super busy so make a rezy.

This spot is so cute! The interior design is gorgeous and they have a cute outdoor dining space out front too. I really liked the wine here, the Sauvignon blanc was awesome. I love seeing the giant wood fired oven in the back! The pizza was pretty good, everyone at my table liked their food. The bread was really good. The tiramisu was awesome too! Service was good too! Definitely recommend checking them out if you're in the North Side and want some thin Neopolitan style pizza.

I've been waiting to try Alberta's for so long and finally got a reservation last night with some girlfriends. We ordered the cauliflower gratin special, the Genny, and white boy pizzas. And the ricotta pumpkin pie for dessert was the perfect night cap! Everything was delicious!! Tip: order the whipped ricotta and hot honey for dippin. The cider haus cocktail was fresh and crisp- exactly what I was looking for to celebrate the fall weather. Hoping to come back to dine at the bar next time!

I went here for a dinner with friends to celebrate my birthday and it was lovely. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had the "white boy" pizza with arugula and we shared a large Caesar salad and the frito misto. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've had...very fresh and made with homemade dressing. I highly recommend!

Enjoyed a cozy evening indulging in the good stuff at Alberta's pizza in Pittsburgh's north side. Cool vibes. Service moved at a good pace. Delicious cocktails & wood-fired pizza.

Have enjoyed Alberta's pizza from the food truck, now have a brick and mortar location. Staff was great! There is a lunch and a dinner menu. Was there for lunch and ordered the Hot Sopp pizza. Really nicely cooked and nice combo of flavors. Looking to come back for dinner and trying other items on the menu. There is a 20% service fee so no tipping.

When you walk in, the long line looks a bit intimidating. However the FOOD was so worth the 15-20 min wait for us to order our food. I applaud how quickly you get your food after your order has been taken. Now into the good stuff. The Corn-beef Hash was calling my name. When I say I had not 1 regret, it was AMAZING. The corn beef itself was very, very tender flavorful and delicious. What topped it off an extra notch was the chimichurri sauce drizzled on the side. Absolutely amazing. Never had a chimichurri this delicious in my life. My daughter ordered the chicken biscuit with homefries. Which was also very good. The chicken is made out of chicken thighs to give flavor and tenderness. Potatoes were nice crisp on the outside. The biscuits itself are also very good. However I couldn't focus on it after tasting the corn beef. It amazes me how quickly they get the food out and seem to always have enough seating after you place your order. Heads up, the setup is different than your typical diner. You order your food first, then get a table. This process works well for them. And out of the dozens people that was in and out, didn't complain either. This is located on a side street that does require paid parking. Not sure which hours the paid parking is mandatory at. However don't let that stop you. Just go!

So, actually a guy at the information booth was eating something from here and I asked him where he got it from because it looked very good and he recommended them to me. So we headed their way. Tbh: Every place that we wanted to eat at had a line 25-50 deep and we were super hungry and their line was only like 5-7 people deep which was a blessing. First off, the service in general was kind of crappy, but I understand as it was a hot and very busy day and from what they told my gf at the time they were getting low on food as well and only had a couple items that were left from the menu. After deciding what we wanted which was one of three things my gf at the time ordered us the Mac and Cheese and a container of ranch to take home while I looked for a place for us to eat. So after they handed her our food we headed over to an area with tables and chairs to eat the Mac and Cheese. I must say we both thoroughly enjoyed every single bit of it and my gf at the time isn't even vegan. So that says a lot! I highly recommended it :) FYI: The person who took her order also forgot to give her the container of ranch she paid for. I wasn't made aware that she purchased it until afterwards because my gf at the time wanted to surprise me but they didn't give her a receipt so she had no proof. Oh well, you live and learn, sadly! The vibe on this day was on point so we let the little things go in regards to the crappy service and the shorting us of an overpriced container of ranch fall to the wayside and continued on with our wonderful day, smiling and enjoying the amazing festival and area. If I decide to stop by your food trailer again this year at the festival or whenever I am somewhere you are posted up in front of, I hope you make up for your mistakes from last year because that's the right thing to do.

Christie (@cmnst4 ), the owner, was genuinely so kind when we talked about coming in-warm, easy to chat with, and proud of what they've built. That energy carries through because the staff was extremely friendly and honestly couldn't wait to make up my order. I love that it's an open kitchen. You can see them pressing tortillas, building everything fresh, and actually talk to them while they're making your food. It feels interactive and intentional instead of rushed. We tried a handful of things, but I have to specifically mention the chicken tacos on a corn shell and the quesadilla because they were exactly what I wanted-flavorful, fresh, and done right. Not over-the-top, not trying too hard. Just solid food made by people who care. And that's the kind of spot I'll go back to.

The base was a small tortilla topped with a smaller fried tortilla, topped with the fish and mild jalapeño coleslaw. It was small but very tasty. If you follow my reviews, you know that I don't eat dessert. Because I had such a light lunch, I requested their special dessert, Tres Leche. This was a disappointment. It was a large square of white cake soaked in milk and covered with coconut and topped with a slice of maraschino soaked canned pineapple. It lacked the richness that I knew in Mexico. The pineapple was a distraction. There was only 2 other tables occupied while I was there. The server provided the perfect amount of attention and was very pleasant. Was surprised, however, with a surcharge for using a credit card.
