At first I was going to give this place a 1 star because of the way my situation was handled. I called several times just to have the person picking up ask me for my address 10 times and continuously ask if they could call back in two minutes. I would call back ten minutes later and no one one answer or he would ask if he could call again in two minutes and proceed to again ask me about my address It was a bit sketchy when he asked for my credit card information over the phone and I thought I was being scammed and I was completely over it. HOWEVER. HOWEVER. HOWEVERRRRRR I WAS SO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY THE SERVICE WHEN THEY DID EVENTUALLY GET TO MY PLACE. We were right on time to get my car towed to the shop and I was able to catch the manager right before he left to check myself in! I don't remember his name but the PERSON towing my car did an excellent job and definitely has experience towing and I felt completely safe and comfortable with him towing my car. The communication was off but the actual towing service was just phenomenal! He makes you feel taken care of and makes sure everything is okay before he leaves. He arrived and called me but I didn't answer so he called a couple times and left a voicemail. He then kindly waited 30 min for me. i showed him the location and condition of the car. he didn't have the right truck ( not his fault the dispatcher messed up) so he left and came back in 40 min with the right truck. When I gave them two hours notice they arrived 3 DAYS LATER and then decided to try to shake me down for more money. Beware---Crooks! Bullies! Scam artists! Recently I locked my keys and my bag and phone in the car at a local Walmart. There was a security guard walking in the parking lot and I explained the situation and asked if I could use his phone to Google my roadside service provider and call them. "HE" Googles it and dials the number and hands me the phone. And I guess being stressed out I didn't particularly pay attention to the number he dialed. I started the conversation by saying I am a member of Ford Roadside Assistance, but I am calling from someone else's phone (because they pull up the account from the phone number) and asked if he could pull up my account--- the guy on the phone says yes! and takes down my information--- never did he say, you are speaking with a private towing company. So I am thinking that I am on the phone with Ford Roadside Assistance. I ask when I can expect someone and he says in about half an hour. Sometime later a tow truck shows up. Right away the first thing I asked the driver is if he was from Ford Roadside Assistance, but he just ignored me and got out of the truck and said " you called for a lockout"-- I confirmed that and he proceeded to unlock the car. Then he says, how do you want to pay? That will be $100! So I asked him what he meant and that it's included in my Ford Roadside contract. Then he tells me they don't do Club roadside only towing! And that this is a private company! I told him I made it very clear when I called that I had roadside service and if they didn't cover it they should have clarified that during the call. Instead he tells me that his partner gave me a quote on the phone! Which he did not and we confirmed that with the security guard as the call was on speaker phone!!! I offered to call FRA and ask them to send Alberto's Towing for a lockout so that he could get paid. But they don't do lockouts through Clubs because it doesn't pay them the rate they find acceptable. They only do towing. He wanted me to call Ford Roadside and spin a tale about needing to be towed so that they could get paid the RATE that they deemed worthy of their time!!! He never clarified that over the phone, never gave me an estimate and lied about it. Also the driver told me that before he even starts, when he gets to a job he always asks what price his partner agreed to. But he did not do that with me. He just jumped right into unlocking the car. He blocked my car and threatened to tow it away and his partner came down and blocked my car too! I called the police, but they were useless. They just felt that I should pay even though this was clearly a scam job. It's sad and despicable that companies like this get away with their bad behavior and bullying tactics. Update: In reference to your response--- the call was on speaker phone and the security guard confirmed to your partner that there was no mention of money. But as they say " the proof is in the pudding". Why would I agree to pay $100 or even $75 when I have free service? read more

The truck never came I waited for over 2 hours. First they had the wrong address then when they got the right address they said another 45 min. Their eta was 11:10pm I waited till 11:40 and still they weren't there by then I called someone to come jump my car and they got there before the tow and we jumped it and left. Never again read more

Pete or Pedro was amazing he was not only patient and kind he did his very best in every aspect! My car was towed for a missing "permit sticker" on private property. That would be fine if the permit stickers wasn't affixed to the window but in fact it was. The landlord failed to see the sticker and had my vehicle towed. I called Alberto's towing company to inform them of the clear misunderstanding and was talked over by an unprofessional reprentative who informed me that it wasn't "their problem" and that I would need to pay 400 dollars to get my vehicle out of their lot. When I tried to reason with them I was hung up on. Incredibly unprofessional behavior. I ended up having to pay 400 dollars because neither the landlord not the tow truck driver took a second to look at the parking permit sticker staring them in the face. read more

Unfortunately, some mix ups happened with the addresses which put him another 20 minutes out but he was extremely gracious to honor the standing quote even though there was extra labor. This is by far the worst place ever. Very unprofessional!! The person responsible for answering the phones would click on me when I'd call!! I tried getting my car out for 6 days and would not let me!! They held it hostage for over a week!! I do not recommend this towing company at all unless you want to get scammed!! Is that how you run a business? By stealing money from people? That's sad. Karma is real all I'm gonna say. They were suppose to pick up my car and take it to the dealership but for some reason these morons decided to put it in there storage for 7 days!! I ended up paying 700 to take it out. Everyone knows this place is a scam even the Police department knows it. So many people have reported them already. Driver was excellent. But...original quote was $85/hour for a 5.4 mile tow. Upon booking, I gave the make and model, and was quoted $110 flat fee. After I had paid by credit card, and driver had arrived at the pick up, the business office called to say it would be an additional $85 because of additional equipment needed for this make/model. Very poor business practice to jack up the price when the tow is in progress. Won't use again. read more

Albert is a very unprofessional person providing unprofessional customer service. Please use a different tow company for your tow needs. My BMW's service light came on and my insurance company chose this place to tow my car to the Mechanic, they tried to tell me I had a co pay and my insurance company even contacted his dispatch and driver and told them that I do not owe a co-pay that they are paying in full , he tried to charge me $15.44 for a co pay! The total bill was $70.44 my insurance covered the entire bill. He was trying to double dip and get additional money. He harassed and threatened me by saying he was going to contact collections. Albert sent me text message while I was at work and continued to harass me. I provided text messages for proof. Please know your consumer rights, Albert cannot send you to collections because there is a process. It's against the law to have a person contacting you for a debt to harass or threaten you. I could actually sue him for this. I contacted the attorney gerenal's office and Consumer financial protection and I am spreading the word on ALL social media. Please do the same. I found Albertos towing through yelp and Alberto is an honest guy. He gave me a good price and they came quickly within the time mentioned. I hitched a ride to the Irvine/Tustin Infiniti dealership and paid out by cash. There was three of us riding and im glad they used a flatbed truck, i honestly dislike a non-flatbed. So grateful for this company! They got us out of a HUGE pickle while my family and I were on vacation. We had one of our cars parked out on our street. The day after we left, my mother-in-law called and said the city needs our car moved because they're doing street work. Bummer about it all is that I took the keys to that car with me on vacation.
