Shopped last weekend and purchased an expired Starbucks pumpkin coffee bag off a shipper that was near the deli my fault I didn't notice until I got home grocery manager check your outdates. Today I went in and went to the deli African American female employee making chicken didn't turn around to greet me waiting 8 minutes until she noticed me then she said " I'll be right with you" she then decided to walk away not once but 3 times she never even helped me I had to pull,another deli employee to help me, horrible customer service at this deli. Lastly I purchased a spinach dip again it was expired 4 days ago! Came here to do a DoorDash order, I went to the seafood counter to get shrimp and crab. The associate there knew I was doing DoorDash and was giving me attitude about the portioning amount. He was asking about much I'm getting for the order and told me that I could disable them (as in he didn't want to deal with me) continued to give me attitude the entire time. Basically didn't want to do his job and he scolded me for trying to do mine. Next time I'll just avoid shopping here or just stay away from the seafood counter read more

Decided to give this place a trip and I was surprised by how much I don't like this grocery store, wasn't greeted when I walked in spent some time looking around and no staff could be found to ask for help. Disappointing experience every time and changing purchase choices. Bakery staff never says good morning when buying donuts. Floor staff unfriendly, no one greets you with a hello. Deli chicken wings esp bbq chicken dry and disgusting, sometimes isn't even chicken but chicken balls. I threw it away. The packed sushi is dry and not as good as Smiths which is fresh. I had to throw it out. Purchased signature loaf of bread that was dry and threw it out. This was all one purchase. I wasted my money! Your produce is the only thing I will buy and I will just expect unfriendly floor staff. Self checkout seems to be ok and some cashiers. At least they sometimes say, Have a nice day. I am not sure if this is due to a culture you have there but it's showing. read more

Albertsons on Tropicana and Boulder. Its dirty, shelves are empty. Worst part is some digital sales do not get sale priced on cash register. It takes me twice as long to shop because I have to go to cell, bring up Albertsons App, then look for item. After all that I have to look at each item rung up to make sure I get digital price! Great for just zipping in and out for me. To go and get exactly what I want and leave quickly. The hot food section is my favorite unless the fried chicken has sitting awhile. If I catch it fresh then it's a go. They wouldn't fry me any fresh like Smiths does if you ask. Sometimes I just go to walk around and then put 10.00 in a slot. Nice friendly people. read more

The store itself is pretty good. The staff lack skilled training. Very friendly but seem to not understand their role. Checkers and support staff seem untrained in bagging groceries. Call me crazy pears do not belong under squash and meat does not belong bagged with cilantro. Basic food safety like not bagging raw meet with raw vegtables.... If the store is slow they close all check stands, if you have a large order you just wait in self check out then be moved to a register. Dont bother asking them to not throw your fresh fruit down the bagging shoot -they tosss it like a bowling ball. Your produce is garbage before you leave the store unless you bag it yourself. So basically make small orders, use self check out - avoid their staff, and you should have a great productive grocery trip. Gold star in persons in particular depts like meat and produce. It's just the checkers, persons stocking shelves, and baggers that all seem like they need a 101 grocers course. note. Use their app at a minimum you get the weekly deals averages 20% savings. read more

This has my favorite Albertosns. Not just because it's down the street from me but because I've never had any problems finding anything. Veggies and meat are always fresh. They have great customer service. One day we left my daughters wallet in the shopping cart and we realized it as soon as we got him. We called in right away and sure enough it was in lost and found. Albertsons is my first choice for a chain supermarket. We happened to be near this location tonight so we stopped in for a few items. The ceilings are very tall and lofty. There is a Starbucks kiosk near the front entrance as well as a DMV kiosk! The lighting at night is subdued and calming. The store looked clean and well organized and the service at check out was good. It's not the closest location to my house so I won't be coming here often, but it was a pleasant experience nonetheless. read more

Damaged and dented cans are regularly stocked on the shelves. DO NOT buy the seasoned and pre-prepared meat and meals with meat and veggies in the meat department ... it's OLD unsold product that is turning bad or about to. Really unhappy with the changes in the store the last few years. Very few of the employees that had been there for years are still there. The place is amazing they have Mexican and Chinese stuff. The employee's are lovely and whenever I go in there if the employees are working or not they always smile or wave at me it's like a way of saying "Hi I hope you comeback soon!" they are always helpful. I recommend the sushi it's amazing! i always find what I need because they always everything in stock and fresh. Drove to this store today to buy groceries. I had my items in my cart ready to purchase. I asked the grocery manager Cody if he'll reduce the Claussen pickles to $3.50 so my manufacturer coupon will cover it. It was only asking to lower the price $1.50. He said he has to ask his manager. I said I thought you were manager. He then called Nick on the phone at the meat counter. Cody said Nicky told him "No". I told Cody to tell Nick if he doesn't lower the price then I'm going to corporate because the coupon is suppose to cover the full price, of up to $3.50. Cody called Nick back and asked. Cody said that Nick told him that "Corporate makes the prices so go ahead and call corporate". I never talked to Nick. Cody was the middle man. I guess Nick is the assistant store manager. I then left without purchasing my other items nor the pickles. So Albertsons lost about a $100 sale today. read more

Went in to this Albertsons today my self my 3 daughters and my friend and her daughter getting food for dinner. Walked around the store looking for everything. We also got to beers. While ringing my items up the beer requested assistance and the register said continue scanning (self checkout) so i did, next item i scanned did not ring up but me not knowing it didn't i put it in the bag the lady comes over counts my items and I'm like i scanned it.. Ok long story short.. She proceeds to walk off, gets security and we hear get say watch them.. I could understand her saying watch me but watch them.. What in het right mind would possess her to think I'm stealing. A simple mistake? No it was racial profiling.. My kids have Never experienced it first hand towards them until today. Today my husband and I were running errands in the area and decided to stop here to purchase baby food and formula. It was quicker to make our purchase at self-check out, so we did just that. I am very dissatisfied that the store thought we needed to be "monitored" by 2 of its employees (a Black woman who was working in the area and a White male who got us the formula) as we scanned our items as others made their purchases around us without the extra scrutiny. As two professionals (who are also foster parents), we can appreciate that stores experience theft but it angers me that it appeared certain assumptions were made by these employees to watch over us. read more

Sadly, Albertsons is up to it's old overcharging tricks. Now they have expanded opportunities with the Just4U program. Bottom line - double check your receipt BEFORE leaving the store. On my recent visit I was not given the proper price for a couple categories resulting in an overcharge of $1.50. Just low enough not to bother with the hassle of returning to the store and waiting in line, etc. This issue was quite prevalent a few years ago and I thought they had cleaned up their act after not being cheated for some time. Winning for a few quick items from the brand new circular that was delivered and they were out of stock on three of the items I went to the store for. After going to the checkout I asked for a rain check and was told I needed to go to the service desk for a rain check. When I got to the service desk there were 5 people in line before me.. Mind you I had already waited in line behind four people to pay for my groceries, The first customer paying bills or something took seven or eight minutes, second person in line took five minutes still three customers in front of me I spotted the manager Nikki H at the front of the store and walked up and asked her if assistance could be given as a courtesy booth due to the line and length of time it was taking for me to just get a rain check. Nikki asked me what I wanted and I told them the Albertsons pizzas on sale and Welch's grape juice and then was immediately cut off and talked over. I told her it was ridiculous that I needed to wait for someone to go back and look for product and I had no time to wait in line (due to I needed to be back home to care for my wife who just had surgery) she informed me I needed to wait in line and I said I don't wanna wait in line I've already waited in line and all I needed was a damn rain check. She told me don't cuss at me and I said I'm not cussing at you I'm cussing at the damn rain check that I can no longer get at the checkstand where I already waited in line. She immediately walked away and didn't care about my concern.. then going to Albertsons for 40 years, my wife is a checker for several years, I was an outside contractor that serviced Albertson's for almost 20 years. I have never seen such terrible customer service and policy that just to get a few items I needed to wait in line for over 20 minutes. needless to say Kroger will be getting my business from here on out. And Nikki H needs to not be a mngr.. has she has absolutely zero customer skills and would rather just stand around at the front end doing nothing when she could've been helping me. If she was doing her job the shelves would not have been empty in the first place a good manager actually stocks the shelves and tries to help the customer. Play suggestion is to go to another chain that cares about customer concerns.. Hey stay away from store 118 on 7151 W Craig Road.. not sure if Bob Miller or Donna Robbins in corporate still works for Albertsons but they might wanna look into this. My 80 year old mother was having problems with her cell phone and was unable to correct the Lyft pickup address. A very nice young man named Coty fixed her phone and contacted the Lyft driver with the correct information. Then he loaded her groceries into the Lyft for her. It turned out that Coty was the store manager at the Albertsons at 7151 W. Craig in Las Vegas. We want to thank you, Coty. Your kindness will never be forgotten. read more

I was shopping last week and noticed on of your employees watching me from down the aisle . She proceeds to walk down the aisle staring into my basket. When she gets close she kneels down looking in it. She still hasn't told me what her problem is but I'm black so I know what that type of behavior means. I'm being accused of something. Sure enough, she walks by continuing to stare me down. Comes back a few seconds later and comes right out and says it "Do you have a phone in your cart?" Why type of question is that? But I answered why would a phone be on my cart? If someone thought I was stealing then use the 400 cameras that are used throughout the grocery store and see that I didnt touch anyone's belongings. That whole situation could've been avoided. I should have left the store right then but I had already got most of my groceries and just wanted to go home. Accusations like the one your employee made are how black people end up getting hurt. I should've got her name. White lady. Just stopped by today for a normal run of groceries, but discovered my favorite Hot Sauce, Melinda's was on Clearance and would no longer be stocked.....I grabbed all 4 bottles left on the shelf, was bummed and ready to knock off a Star since it would make this store just like all of the others.....then, on one of the end-caps.....I saw Mexican Pepsi, 10 for $10....sweet! I've been looking for Mexican Coke or Pepsi (because of no HFCS) and was surprised to find it here. For that, I gave it the Star back....still a 5 Star joint in my book. Will I return? Another aggravating trip to nearby Albertsons today it's like some of the employees don't want you to shop here. Self checkout and couldn't get my coupon to work so out comes Carolyn from customer service to get ignorant with me!! She started out accusing me of not ringing up my two bags of coffee saying I don't see it here on the receipt I said scroll up and Look 2 bags of Starbucks She handed me the coupon and said I'm done here I told her she was ignorant always to me I can't pay bills or god forbid I return something! I returned a product that was Albertsons brand and it wasn't working but didn't have a receipt asked for credit to replace it I was told I couldn't return without a receipt next time . Okay next time ? Anyway today I just wasn't taking her rudeness so manager Nicki came over while I was being helped and asked me if I had a problem I said yes your employee was and was cut off by Management saying she wasn't going to let anyone call her employee ignorant . I replied you don't want to hear my side or what she said to me ya know the customer?! Nicki was even more ignorant than her employee So after being aggravated and paying for it I walked over to Nicki and told her I didn't appreciate being talked to like that and she replied I'll get off this line and you can tell me what you think Wtf ?! Came in to pick up some stuff for smores. Quick in and out. Store was clean and there was no waiting for self-check our. Overhead announcement about the deli offering a new chicken sandwich was poorly reviews by the lady staff members in the self-check out. They were talking amongst each other, not stating that to customers, but I did overhear it. The employees badmouthing their own deli department for the 4 star rating. Fried chicken made in house is normally good, but last night a young boy behind the chicken case was totally clueless, they were selling old and dried chicken that should have been thrown out 4 hours earlier. $ 7.99 for eight pieces, went to customer service and complained they knocked of $3.00 . Got home and had to throw all of it out, totally dried out, never had a bad batch from Albertsons in N . Buffalo... they care about what they make and sell.
