Our go to Mexican joint. Great service at the bar. Solid tacos. Good burritos. My wife like the classic margarita skinny. Uncomfortable chairs but that's the only complaint

Nestled in a shopping complex Ample parking. When you walk in the decor with glass blown lights and art deco chairs emblazoned with Mexican art is beautiful and welcoming . Ample Seating for large or small parties. Waiter was prompt and helpful explaining dishes. Had the Mexican Street corn to start which I highly recommend. Served on the cob was simply amazing flavor. For dinner had the 4 street corn tacos which were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend coming here.

I love going to a restaurant where they greet you at the table with chips and salsa. Aldana's does this with 3 salsas! 2 spicy and one mild, all delicious and fresh. My spinach enchiladas were delicioso and full of flavor. I really appreciated that they put the pico, sour cream and guac in a lettuce leaf because it kept it all together without oozing on my meal. The food came out fairly quickly and our server was incredibly nice and attentive. While I didn't get a margarita, many people around us did and they looked large and delicious! It was lovely to have dinner on the patio but I adored the interior decor. Beautiful bar area with Mexican - themed chairs and fun lights. I can't wait to go back!

Love the atmosphere and decorations here! They give complimentary chips and salsa, and their food ranges from pretty good to amazing. I recommend the veggie burrito and shrimp torta (although I only got one slice of tomato - the flavors were amazing!). The service was prompt although we did go a little later in the day.

Colorful chandeliers and warm interior- busy and welcoming. Great service, fast and friendly. Grabbed a margarita and tacos. The margaritas are over $10 and check out the pics because they are big! Had some tacos with beans and rice. The chips were good, salsa was also. They have some spicy salsas too. You've been warned. Reasonably priced for the amount of food. A good place to eat.

Does the food in this photo look good? If you answered yes, congratulations--you've found your people. If you're like the other 99.9999% of humanity and immediately thought, wow, that looks like dog food, I have some advice. This plate of absolute slop cost over $30. For that price, you could eat an entire week of respectable takeout or assemble a tasting menu from the frozen aisle. Instead, you get this. A dish so visually upsetting it lowers your appetite and your expectations. At least fast food knows what it is and doesn't charge fine-dining prices for cafeteria vibes.

    The corn was delicious.

Authentic cuisine and drinks made to order. No premixed margaritas. The staff was very friendly and food was delicious. It's definitely a family friendly environment. If you're craving a great experience I suggest you give this establishment a try.

First of all the service and the ambiance is amazing. It's a very lovely place inside, the decor is nice and it's just fun being there. The service was great too, even though we stopped in for a late lunch so there were only a couple other tables. The food is just alright. They have a small lunch menu with $15 items and a larger any time menu. For the most part, the prices are a little too high for the food you get. The menu lacks creativity and originality to be charging these kind of prices. It's chain restaurant food for higher prices. We got the lunch quesadillas, which do come with more than enough food, but the chicken tinga lacked flavor and there was no where near enough cheese in the quesadillas. They were able to do a vegetable quesadilla for my mom, which was nice. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch. The salsas were tasty and the chips were fresh! A couple tables had margaritas that looked really tasty, but it was the middle of a work day so I skipped. If I come back, I'll try one. Overall, I think the experience was nice but for the quality of food, it was overpriced.

Came here with friends - new to us place. The decor of the restaurant is cute, the service was decent, and the options on the menu were plentiful. The pricing was very high in my opinion for Mexican food, but maybe I'm spoiled but other places in the metro area. And I thought the chips, salsa and food was just mediocre. It was ok, if I lived close by, but nothing I'd rush back for or recommend driving to as a destination.

There were some tables and high tops but there also was lounging type areas. That is where our group hung out for the evening and it was perfect. We all could talk with one another but still able to enjoy our drinks and food. Our waiter was amazing. I wish I caught his name. But we were a rowdy bunch and he handled us professionally and was friendly. My only complaint was not filling waters enough. But other than that drinks and food came out pretty fast. 54 W. has a collaboration with Mojave Cantina for food, so you can't go wrong because Mojave is delicious! Drinks and food were all tasty! The place has their own bathrooms - two unisex single stall restrooms. Not sure if it was the big group and I missed it? But didn't know if they had a drink menu? Food menu was a QR code and our waiter brought over hard copy menus from Mojave. A very cool place and great for drinks or celebrating.

We sat at the bar and had to wait a while before even getting menus. This kind of service continued for the rest of the night and we honestly felt ignored and forgotten. Once we got our food (we ordered the Tacos Mexicanos) we had to wait again for silverware. The bartender never came by to check on us after receiving our food so we ended up having to flag down a different server. And then instead of being able to ask the bartender for a margarita, I had to flag down a different server AGAIN to put my drink order in. This place seemed super hectic and disorganized. Food runners did not seem to know where they were going and had to yell across the place to ask the servers who ordered the food they were carrying. Not sure if they don't number their tables but it was super distracting and made them look unprofessional. The food itself was mediocre. This is the outdoor space behind Mojave Cantina so they share a menu/kitchen. I thought the meats were quite dry and needed some acid or some kind of brightness to wake them up. I thought the space itself was really cute though. And I love a themed out bathroom and the sliding doors with the hook locks were super fun. Overall, probably would not come back to 54 West.

We had a few options for private rooms, but they suggested the main dining area for the lighting, which was really nice. There were multiple linen options we were able to choose from (pink options in pic) and these were included in the total cost. The whole room was set up according to how many seats we wanted at each table and they were fully prepared for us to start decorating as soon as we arrived. The personal bartender also arrived early and prepped the station long before guests arrived. The food was all delicious. We had buffet style (set up shown in one picture by fireplace). Way too busy enjoying ourselves to take pictures of food. The buffet was about 10 minutes later than expected, but there was a party of 80 at the same time and no one seemed bothered by this. We chose chicken tenders and fries for the kids attending and this was promptly served about 15 minutes before the buffet so the parents were able to help feed before getting their own food. Rolls- really classic white bread rolls. Exactly what you want. Green beans - these were sooo good! Very buttery and surprising! Potatoes- hasselback style, cut in halves. Also so buttery and perfectly salted. Tuscan chicken- thin sliced chicken breasts with sun dried tomato and a creamy Tuscan sauce. This was extremely delicious. Salmon- I cannot remember the flavor we chose but perfectly cooked and flavorful, cut into about 1.5" pieces so it didn't feel overwhelming to choose one of everything. Salad - classic salad with tomato and cucumber. We chose a ranch and vinaigrette. The table had Parmesan cheese, half and half creamer, sugar, and butter available. They allowed us to bring in our own cupcakes as dessert ($1/person) and served regular/ decaf coffee with this. This room could definitely fit more people. Our set up was 6 round tables of 6 but they were very flexible with how we wanted these set up and number of chairs per table. Overall, great experience. I can't wait to come back for dinner!

If it's something big come early cause it definitely gets packed pretty quick. I had the boneless wings with the Korean sauce and it was shockingly good. Boneless wings are a low expectation food for me, so when a sauce or the crisp really comes out excellent, I'm always genuinely surprised. The sauce was really the highlight, cause it balances flavor and heat perfectly, while also having some sweetness without being too sticky. What I really like about this spot is that they have around 110 draft beers on tap so it's really a craft beer lovers paradise. They also have some basic beers for those who don't have the love for crafts along with a full bar and curated cocktail list.
