Customer service is really good here. They stand behind their produce and grocery so if u run into any issues, they work with you.

Did not like it ONE BIT either David. What a stupid waste of space in a prime area!!! No name brands, the shopping cart issue (who carries change anymore?), the bag situation (price), hardly any choice of meat, and it goes on and on. We need a bit more classier restaurants in our area. Enough with the burgers and French fries! Oh and one other thing...Mexican food, all of those dishes are prepared in the home!! Nice store but a pain to use carts and shop. The cashiers are minimum so the line is long. When they open a new checkout they say next customer in line. Why ? Who knows? Insert a quarter to get a cart, and put the cart back to get your quarter back. Pretty simple. Maybe this will teach humans to put stuff back where it belongs instead of making a mess of the parking lot. This is my favorite grocery store. I buy a lot of fresh produce and meat and you can't beat the prices. The produce is great. I always love looking at the weekly items they have too. Always fun. We have gotten some great deals on random stuff like a meat thermometer! I love how if they get a long line, they quickly bring someone up. Even though I have to bag my own stuff, I spend so much less time there than stater brothers because it's small and straight to the point. No frills, exactly what I like. I go in and get what I want and go out. Other stores I swear you can be there forever. Yes the stuff is in weird places but once you go a few times you catch the hang of it. Also if something says "aldi finds" they only have a small quantity so get it while you can. But that makes it fun cuz they always get new stuff. Honestly, if you are too lazy to bring your cart back, to carry a quarter, or bag your own stuff then go spend more money elsewhere and leave this place not so busy! Nice store - clean - but huge fail on special events items. Their page pushes the specialty heart shaped cheeses for Valentines - and yet this store had none - didn't think they ever got any - and had no idea if they could get more. Do not advertise something if you don't actually have it for sale - period. Don't ever plan on buying something specific from Aldi's - you will likely be disappointed. read more

This is definitely a no-frills grocery store. I didn't have a quarter for a cart and could only buy what I could carry. I hated that they wanted to charge me for grocery bags to buy their stuff. They should give you free paper bags like Trader Joe's. I ended up walking out with a few items in my hands and taco sauce stuffed in my bra. I felt like a peasant. And the brands and prices weren't that great either. I ended up going to Target and buying everything that I needed and wanted. read more

I have been a regular at at Aldi in Menifee since they opened. I am pleased to report that they have maintained their promise of worthwhile price savings while at the same time offering great quality. The quarter necessary to use a cart seems to annoy many people....Don't know why as it does away with the problem of them damaging customers cars due to being left scattered around the parking lot. A great place to shop. Prices are fantastically reasonable for most items; and cheaper than anywhere else on some items; partially due to the fact that you need a quarter for a shipping cart, which will be returned to you when you return the cart, and the fact that you have to bring your own shopping bags and bag yourself. A slight hassle, but well worth it for the savings. They have new items every Wednesday, but be there early if you want to get them as some items go fast. The selection changes every Wednesday. I make it a regular place to shop every week. It's a smaller store, that does not carry every item that you may want. The aisles could be wider as it makes it a little difficult because of some people who do not know how to drive a shopping cart. I'm talking about you inconsiderate dummies who leave your cart blocking the aisle. read more

Why does this location have 3 stars? This is the best grocery store I have been too. They have a good variety of gluten free and organic options. They also have random stuff for your house. I love shopping at Aldi and this location is in a nice new shopping center and is always clean. They do get really busy at times and the store is pretty small so be prepared to have to deal with tons of other shoppers. The prices here can't be beat, every other grocery store is more expensive. First of all remember to bring your bags and a quarter to get a shopping cart. You enter the quarter into the slot on the cart and it unlocks the cart for you. When you return the cart at the end you get your quarter back and can reuse it next time. They have a good selection of fruits and vegetable and their prices are a lot more reasonable compared to Ralph's, Von's and Stater's. To give an idea I used to spend about $100 per week at Ralph's to feed our family of four. I can get the same amount of food at Aldi for one week and only spend between $55-$80 depending on what I'm purchasing. Their prices on meat are also considerably lower although they don't have a large selection, it is still decent. Most the brands here aren't name brand (although they do sell some items like Coca-Cola and Arizona iced tea. All in all I love shopping here for the great value and I also like the fact that I get to bag my own groceries. Then I can organize everything exactly how I like it and know none of my items are being thrown around or damaged. read more

Know before you go... Staff was courteous, however the business model Aldi is using to save money is a complete joke. I feel sorry for the staff to have to deal with it. 1. You have to bring a quarter to use their shopping carts. This would be somewhat acceptable if there was a SIGN SAYING SO. The cart attendant gave me the weirdest look when I told her I didn't have one. Went all the way back to my truck and luckily I had one in my change drawer. 2. After shopping and checking out at the register. No one bothered to tell me (ONCE AGAIN A SIGN WOULD'VE BEEN NICE) that you have to buy or bring your own shopping bags. So here I am with a cart full of groceries that I now have to carry by hand. Fantastic. 3. Lastly I try to return my cart and the attendant rudely tells me that i have to take the food out of the top shelf of my shopping cart before hooking it back with the rest. ... How about instead of barking orders at me, you help me take the goods out? Or even better let me take the cart back to my truck and unload it there first before returning your precious shopping cart that you don't want stolen (hence the stupid quarter lodged in it). We're in Menifee not Oakland. No one is gonna steal the stupid shopping carts. Give me a break. read more

I was in ALDI last night and during the grand opening on Wednesday the 17th. Over all I am so happy that we finally have a grocery store with better prices than target and Walmart. I spent the same amount of money and walked off with double the amount of groceries. Everyone in the store was very friendly and well informed about the company. I don't mind paying for bags, bagging my own groceries or taking my cart back if it helps with my savings. When I walked in there was no line and only one register open but when I left all seven registers were open and there were no lines at all. The employees explained to me that everyone in the store does everything and as soon as a line starts to form they open another check lane. They also told me about the double guarantee... basically I could refund anything I was not happy with and get a replacement item for free. I think we found our new grocery store to do our shopping. read more

I really like Aldi's, esp for the prices! They beat Sprouts and all grocery chains on produce and other products. I haven't tried their meats yet but have been happy with all my purchases. For example, Butter for $2.99 or large eggs $.86 a doz! And with Thanksgiving coming Butterball turkey $.99 lb or smoked BB for $1.99! Hams too. Give it a try and save some money! read more

Went to the grand opening and I was 11th in line.Was very excited cause my daughter works at a Aldi in the OC and I have never been in one. Also got to meet 2 city council people Matt and Lesa very very nice....But to top off the morning I was one that got the Golden Ticket and won $100 gift card was so shocked yet excited did not shop much that day or really get to check out store lol But went back on Saturday is very nice just will take some time get use to different brands. read more

Educate yourself before going to this establishment and make sure you carry change. Ask yourself, how can a store shave 50% off costs.... eliminate customer service completely and charge you for everything from bags to shopping carts. My lament with Aldi is that there is nothing to educate you on the simple requirements prior to shopping there. I don't carry cash I use my card or Apple Pay, so I was shunned from using a shopping cart. At times I had to rely on Good Samaritans to help assist me in balancing items in my arms, and then.... as I was checking out the teller ran to grab a cart. I felt a sense of relief, saying to myself I knew a associate would help me out sooner or later... I was wrong! She grabbed the cart to place my items in it during checkout only to ask me to pull my items from the cart by myself beginning the balancing act all over again. Only after she sensed that I was taking longer trying to get my items together, did she In an act of disgust begin to help me with a scorned look on her face. I again I say cheap prices are required to remain viable in today's industry, but at what cost? Aldi you have lost a potential customer in me. There's a bunch of random items in here, and when I went to grab what I thought was LUCKY CHARMS it ended up being Gandoff's wizardly charms " Not really but was close" LOL... thought it was funny...and the prices were not competative... over priced off brands when it's suppose to be the opposite...I could go on but let's get to the check out...and NO I'm not going to say they should bag our groceries because there are stores that don't...and lets face it if I did everyone would think I'm lazy.."I don't mind bagging" but I will say for people who SIT at the register and throw your food into the basket at least make eye contact and be friendly "SUSAN CASHIER #16" don't act like we're inconveniencing you it's just rude.
