Cool local brewery to visit. The bar tender was awesome. Come here to support a true small business.

    Do you allow dogs?

I've see dogs inside the current Gemini Taproom (Classroom #5 of the Lowell School Building) and at their old location, so I assume they allow dogs. I know dogs are definitely allowed on the lawn in front of the school where Gemini has an outdoor…

July 17, 2026 - Grand Junction, CO…read more We had the best visit to Ramblebine Brewing Company! They offer a large selection of outstanding craft beers, with something for every palate. My husband is an IPA enthusiast, while I prefer completely different styles, yet we both found plenty to love and each enjoyed a flight of four. The brewery is housed in a beautifully restored historic building with a warm, comfortable atmosphere inside, as well as a welcoming outdoor patio. They also host rotating food trucks, making it an easy place to spend an afternoon or evening. The staff truly made our visit memorable. My husband had his heart set on one of their "Ramble On" T-shirts, but it looked like they were out of his size. One of the staff members went on a determined search through their inventory and came back with exactly what he wanted. We were so appreciative that she took the time and effort to find it. A fun bit of trivia: the name Ramblebine combines "ramble" (to wander or roam) with "bine," the climbing stem of a hop plant used in brewing--a fitting name for a brewery that celebrates both adventure and great beer. We were only passing through Grand Junction, but if we lived in the area, this would absolutely be one of our regular hangouts. Highly recommended!

We ended ho having 1 beer and heading to another spot for dinner. If the food truck has been a better options or it had been in house, we'd have stuck around for longer and had a few more too.

My wife and I were passing through town for the night and just looking for somewhere near the Colorado National Monument to kill an hour. Handlebar Tap House turned out to be exactly what we needed. A lot of places claim to have a great beer selection, but end up pouring the same tired distribution kegs week after week. Not here. They run 24 rotating handles, and whoever is doing the ordering actually gives a damn about curating a balanced board. I was stoked to see they had a special local collaboration beer on tap called The Ocho. They brewed it up with the folks over at WestCo Brewing to celebrate their eighth anniversary, and it is a phenomenal, juicy IPA. The pour was absolutely spot on, complete with a perfect two-finger head that left thick lacing all the way down the glass. The hop profile was incredibly bold and fruit-forward. We were really only planning on grabbing that quick beer, but we caved and ordered the beer-battered cheese curds. I can be pretty picky about bar snacks, especially when trying to save room for a big meal later. Most of the time, fried cheese is just a heavy, greasy mess where the breading completely overwhelms the actual dairy. These were a massive surprise. The beer batter is light and super crisp, practically shattering right when you bite into it. It gives way to a perfect, hot, melty pull while somehow still keeping a bit of that authentic cheese curd squeak. We polished off the entire basket in minutes. The atmosphere hits that sweet spot between a lively local joint and a relaxed gastropub. The service was fast, which is crucial when you are watching the clock for dinner reservations, and the bartender actually knew the tap list inside and out. The whole vibe is completely unpretentious. It is just a proper pub doing exactly what it should. If our travels ever bring us back through Grand Junction, I will definitely be stopping in again.

I ordered their hummus place. It came with carrots, celery, cucumbers and pita bread, and was plenty for one person or as an appetizer for two people. They had a great craft beer list, and several specials such as a beer of the day for $4 ,as well as food specials.

This is very much an American version of an Irish pub - basically an American bar with all sorts of green everywhere. The hostess was welcoming until she went to seat us at the table right next to the door when there was tons of open seating. So I asked for a different table and she seemed put off by the request. Our server was Brittney and she took our order. I ordered the Highlander Sliders and hubby ordered the Irish Stew and the Malted Vinegar Chips. I checked to be sure the sliders would be well done. When our food arrived, it all looked fairly good. The sliders were burnt, though. Well done doesn't equate to charring the outsides. They were dried out because of that but the sauce they use helped. They sliders came with fries. They were good. Hubby liked his stew but the chips didn't have any vinegar on them and were overly salted. They were served with French onion dip so that was good. Overall this was somewhat of a let down. I was really looking forward to a good dining experience but they missed the mark.
