Great service. A very eclectic menu. Mama had the Teriyaki Burger. They also have fish and chips. They serve breakfast all day. The price is very reasonable. Primm is usually pricey and this is well below that. We spent $40 total for a well portioned lunch. As always, for me, the people are the best part. Nice people. Hard working. Courteous. Cheap tip: bring cash to avoid 4% upper for credit cards. Large parking lot so easy parking. Huge variety of Mexican favorites. We had the breakfast burrito no meat but it didn't have any potatoes as advertised on the menu board. That's the only disappointment. The cheese enchiladas were good, I had it with red and green sauce. Comes with a side of beans and rice, topped with sour cream and onions. Overall good quality food. Stretching the legs before getting into Vegas, I don't think anyone wants to stop by, this casino plaza is dying. Wow wow, I wasn't expecting much but this is pretty good. We got the carne asada plate it came with salad beans and rice. Thinly sliced, but it wasn't that stale chewy texture it was actually good. I dont recommend the tacos - I felt they were expensive for the price with not a lot of meat. I've also been to places that have an open salsa/condiments bar so the lack of radish was also a bit disappointing. However, the shrimp ceviche was pretty good! I would come back to try their seafood as that might be their specialty. They also have another restaurant on Tropicana. Torta was okay. The asada wasn't very flavorful and the beans were beaning (they didn't add much flavor either and were there to make the sandwich more filling). I did like theu toasted the bread. The owner was very nice to talk to. Primm is a quiet area overall, but it's not a bad stop to eat here. We discovered a wonderful hidden gem nearby where we stayed at a hotel. We decided to enjoy breakfast here, and it turned out to be a lively place with excellent customer service and delicious food. Decided to give this place a shot today, but definitely wish I wouldn't have. The food was absolutely overpriced and it was terrible.. The lady who took our order, was very short and kind of rude. Almost seemed like she didn't wanna be there. The place itself is rundown and definitely a hole in the wall. We ordered the posole and Menudo and I ordered some chicken taquitos with rice and beans. The taquitos were OK, but they didn't give you hardly any guacamole with them. The rice was terrible no flavor at all very plain and the beans were bad as well. The posole had no flavor. It was like water and they give you lettuce instead of cabbage, which just got soggy inside the soup. My husband said the Menudo was OK. I didn't try it so I wouldn't know. They don't have any fountain drink drinks with ice. They just have cans and bottles, which are also high priced. In summary, expensive for what you get and the experience. My tacos were very good, albeit a small portion for the money. I ordered water to drink and had to pay for a bottle of water instead of a cup of tap water. I should have brought my own bottle from the car, I guess. $65 for a party of four to eat at this level of service isn't OK. The first annoyance upon ordering at the counter is that what's on the menu is different than what is scrolling on the TVs next to the overhead menu. I didn't feel like ordering "that thing I just saw on the TV 10 seconds ago" so I went with tacos. There are not many vegetarian options. Prices are high here. Yes, the California border is about a mile away, but that doesn't mean you get to charge CA prices. This place is high even for CA standards, though. I can go locally near my home in CA and get more Mexican food for less money. If the place was wait service and spotless, I'd be all about it. But it's not. Stopped for gas on the way back from Zion and found this hole in the wall. The food was delicious! The bean and cheese burrito was super flavorful, it almost didn't need the salsa that came with it. Stopped to charge the car and chose this place. It's near a few fast food choices like McDonalds, Carls Jr., and Taco Bell. I am happy I came here instead. It's not the best Mexican food I've had, but my food was good and I felt satisfied when I left. The staff were very kind and helpful, and my partner and I enjoyed the decor. My order was from their combo section. (5 Tacos your choice of meat) and came out before I was finished in the restroom which is conveniently near their spot in the food court. The meat was cooked very well. (See photo, and know that I had accidentally tilted my takeout bag while getting in the car before opening...) With most food stalls closed, or even without signage, aside from Alex's, this spoke to me more than a couple poor reviews posted below... They are quality enough to withstand the lack of tourists and definitely satisfied my quick stopover need satisfactorily. I was on on the way to Vegas from Northern California. Side notes: my company had ordered elsewhere and finished eating their food in the car shortly before I arrived, but when I opened my tacos their immediate reaction:"wow that smells good" The price point is a touch higher but fair considering they are in the vicinity of a casino resort at the Prism luxury outlet.This restaurant clearly invested in their set up with banners and location in the food court. I think the low demand during Covid may have influenced their portioning with adjusted menu prices clearly taped on. To be offering the variety that they are aiming for, this could easily be a go to under other circumstances. I'd like to see them survive CoVid, and see what it's like during a normal season. read more
