This is really a review on just the food. We did takeout the other night and I really wanted Italian food. We tried several things. The warm cabbage salad was pretty good. It did not seem like an Italian dish, but it was tasty. The garlic bread was really good and i love the cheese on it. The eggplant Parmesan was different than others I have tried. It's served like two big pieces of eggplant that have been breaded, fried, and covered in melted cheese and marinara. It was delicious! It came with some spaghetti and marinara. Speaking of their marinara, it's a sweet and chunky style that tastes totally homemade. It's not the kind of marinara I grew up with but I liked it a lot. The best dish was their bolognese. I love the flavors in this dish. A good bolognese tastes likes its been summed for hours and this had that wonderful home cooked quality. Next time, I will have dinner at the restaurant. I was staying in the area and we found Alfredo's on DoorDash. I ordered calamari, chicken parm and garlic bread. My friend ordered the fettuccine alfredo with prawns. The calamari was subpar. The chicken parm was tasty and the garlic bread stole the show. I wish there was a bit more pasta with my chicken parm. It just seemed like a small portion. We were disappointed with the fettuccine Alfredo because the prawns were basically baby shrimp. Very misleading because prawn usually indicate large shrimp. And we paid an extra $10. The food was okay but for the pricing they could stand to give bigger portions so you can feel like you're getting more bang for your buck. read more

Casual Italian American cuisine. Food was tasty and prepared perfectly. Service was prompt and attentive. Dining room was clean but sparse. We really enjoyed our first visit to Alfredos. It's located in a strip mall and appears unassuming from the outside. The interior walls are painted a bright warm orange, but many walls are bare and could benefit from some art. The dining room is cozy with tables packed close to each other. The complimentary bread basket is served with roasted garlic in olive oil. It was a well balanced match for the bread. Little bit sweet, little bit tangy. Fried Calamari appetizer came with squid and green beans and artichoke hearts, all fried golden brown and seasoned well. While the calamari was perfectly tender, I would have liked a bit more crunch in the crust. Chicken Parm was respectable. I've had better, but I've also had far worse. It came with penne tossed with a bright tangy tomato sauce and some fresh basil. The chicken was moist and tender inside, but crispy on the outside. The Spaghetti Bolognese was my favorite of the evening. The sauce was rich and meaty with lots of finely chopped veggies. This produces a wonderful texture for the sauce. And the pasta was perfectly aldente. An absolute winner of a dish. We had deep fried Oreos and a Cheesecake for dessert. The kids devoured those Oreos in seconds. My wife usually doesn't care for cheesecake, but she thought this one was good. read more

Went into the restaurant the other evening for dinner and it was fairly cold inside. Some tables were set whereas others didn't have table cloths on them which was a bit odd. Food: Decent food which I thought was priced fairly Service: I got the feeling the main server and bus boy were not too enthused to be at work. Staff tended to congregate behind the register area and had many missed opportunities to interact with customers and make sure they had everything. I am not saying that I won't be back, but there are several other Italian restaurants in town with slightly better food and much better service. Wanted to give myself a break on Mother's Day , ordered through Uber eats. The food was 45 minutes late. Package were packed with greasy finger print. We ordered 4 chicken Parmesan. The chicken meat were thin. Portion of pasta looked like 1 order split into 4 boxes. 15 pieces of rigatoni !!!! Fried calamari was oily and too much greasy bread crumbs in the box. Bread was burnt and dry. Flavor of the meal, nothing impressive at all, it was just edible. We had a good dining experience before. The food is really good. The service is the worst. If you dine in you will have minimal contact with your server. The atmosphere, well there isn't any, it took forever to get water even though we were the only people there, and they didn't server any bread. This was our second time with the same experience. Service was great. The food tasted like home cooking! I had the "Fruit of the Sea" dish and it was delicious. Pasta was not overcooked and the seafood tasted fresh and delightful. This is a great little spot and it was easy to fine. The menu was very good everything looked delicious. It was hard to make a choice on what we were going to have. The problem was the prices were quite high and the portions were very small. That's why I the three star. Our granddaughter had the spaghetti Bolognese. She said the sauce was very sweet. She ate everything on her plate. Not that there was a lot. But she ate everything on her plate because she knew she was going to be able to eat deep-fried Oreos for dessert. And boy did she! My wife had the mushroom ravioli vegan. She said it was super tasty and she too ate all of hers not that there was a lot. But she did eat everything. And she didn't get to have dessert because she's just not doing that right now. Mine was the chicken penne. It was super yummy it had lots of flavor I just wish I would've been more on the plate. I guess that was my complaint about the whole restaurant as you seen in the previous wording. It's just that the portions were very small. The service was very good they were very friendly. They were definitely going by Covid laws! Everything with social distancing and they were allowing only a few people inside. They had outside seating also. Not a place will be going back to. After reading the stellar Yelp reviews, I was excited to give Alfredo's a try. Unfortunately, my dinner here was less than stellar. I came to Alfredo's on a recent Friday night. It was a bit tricky to locate because it's nestled deep in a strip mall, but the interior is warm and welcoming. I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese, which I found to be just mediocre. The pasta was cooked well, but the sauce was too think and kind of greasy. Perhaps I didn't order the right dish, because my friend's food looked more appealing. However, I'm skeptical of an Italian restaurant that can't serve up a solid spaghetti! The desserts, on the other hand, were splendid! I tried a bite of the cheesecake and the bread pudding, both of which were unique and delicious! If I come back, I think I'll just get dessert. :) The staff were very friendly and the service was great -- I just wasn't a huge fan of the food. surprisingly small restaurant in a strip mall. Outside is nothing to look at but was a nice interior. The first thing I noticed was four employees behind a large counter in the small room. Felt a little small but made for outstanding customer service. The service was 5+ stars here! Also discovered they are taking over the place next door and are in the process of expanding. Our waitress was great and patient with us as we decided what we wanted. They have a good wine list. We went straight to the dinner menu. My wife ordered the seafood Fettucini Alfredo and I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan. They kept our glasses full, served us some nice bread while we were waiting. The accompanying small dipping sauce was both sweet and sour at the same time. It was different and I enjoyed it but you have to like onions. The dishes arrived and looked great. My wife's Alfredo was great and really rich! It was difficult to finish the entire thing but it was so good she had too. The first two bites of my Eggplant Parmesan were great! The eggplant was nice and crispy like I like it. The subsequent bites were not Quite as crisp as the initial tasting but still quite good. All in all was a very good meal for both of us and we will definitely be back even the spaghetti and sauce that accompanied the eggplant was good and did not feel like an afterthought. It would've been a five star review if the egg plant was crispy entire time. But like I said, the service is five star plus! read more

Also they charge more for credit card. We ordered from here looking for Italian food other than pizza. I'm glad to have Alfredo's in my take out list now. I got gnocchi and my husband had the lasagna. We shared a salad. Everything arrived hot and fragrant. My gnocchi were so light and soft! Just what I wanted. So comforting. The sauce was perfect. Thick enough to lovingly coat each fluffy pillow and light enough to not overwhelm. So luscious! I did not share. Nom nom nom. My husband also did not share so I'm thinking he also loved his pasta. We shared the salad which was also really yummy. We will definitely order again. Next time I'll have dishes waiting for an even more comforting meal. Stopped here on the way through Petaluma with a hunger for Italian food. Had a little trouble figuring out how to reach the restaurant, since it's tucked into a store front close to another building, but so glad we found it! Everything we ordered was extremely well prepared. This was some of the best Italian food I've had in a while. Their bread was clearly made in-house and had a lovely taste and texture. Their Mushroom Truffle Bruschetta was creamy, savory, and wonderfully mushroomy. My wife had the Capricciosa Salad, which was a perfect, fresh balance between savory and light acidity, with the artichokes tender but not mushy, and paired lovely with a Banfa Chianti wine. I had the lunch special. Caesar Salad was fresh and delicious, and seemed to have a unique and delicious mustard tang to it. The Pesto and Chicken Risotto was magnificent and left me wanting more after finishing it all. At the end, we each had a different gelato. The chocolate was rich and extremely chocolatey, while the vanilla was cold and creamy with delicate notes of natural vanilla bean. During quarantine Phase 2, we stopped for take out passing through town, ate at the park. We loved it! 2 of us got the special- pesto chicken risotto, chicken Marsala and mushroom ravioli. There were 5 raviolis, so he ended up eating the rest of my Marsala, which was Delicious! Thick garlic mashed potatoes, lots of mushrooms and grilled veggies. Great squash and peppers. Within 15 minutes after placing the order, Uber Eats already given a status of delivery within another 10 minutes. It was really a surprise. Anyway, the seafood pasta was filled with lot of shrimps and only a few bites of pasta. It was truly out of proportion. Not sure what happened. It costed them more and made the dish less palatable. The other disappointing item was the bread. It was hard (not crunchy). Looked and tasted like a bread from the day before. Ordered takeout for the first time last night and the food was delicious! Even for take out they give you an olive oil/balsamic dipping sauce with the bread. We ordered the pork chops, chicken parm, rigatoni w/light cream sauce and a kids spaghetti bolognese. Everything was delicious. I really loved the pork chops (we got two big ones) and the light cream sauce with the rigatoni. The sauce was medium spicy, what a delightful surprise and so delicious with the sausage. My sister made birthday reservations for 5 of us on December 23, 2024 for 11:30am. We showed up at 11:30am and the restaurant was closed and dark inside. (It should have been opened at 11am). My mom saw someone inside and knocked on the door and finally someone came to door and said the waiter hadn't showed up yet. We asked if we could at least wait inside since it was cold outside, and she let us in and then locked the door behind us. I helped her move a table together so it would seat all of us and then she headed back into the back. We sat there and then decided it probably wasn't going to go well, so we decided to leave. Another hidden gem in Petaluma, This is a white table cloth service yet so affordable. The calamari appetizer is a killer, the beef carpaccio is so fresh, i can still hear the mooo from the cow. Arrived here for dinner and requested outdoor dining because it was a beautiful evening. Right after we started looking at menus I learned that my dog walker never showed up which meant that I needed to get home quickly. The staff was so understanding, packaged our order to go and even included bread and dipping oil. The food was absolutely amazing. Good basic Italian restaurant. I go on weeknights, food is good. Service is fair, but when you have time to linger over a meal and not in a rush, it's a good meal at a reasonable price.
