Robertos service it top tier! Food was great and service was even better. We had a late night bithday dinner here and not once did the staff make us feel rushed. If you visit, ask to sit it Robertos section

How have I lived in Sonoma county my whole life and never been to LoCoco's????? This place is such a hidden gem! We decided to come here for my Birthday dinner a few weeks ago. Myself, husband and 2 young kids. I'm always hesitant to go eat somewhere nice with my kids but LoCoco's is very family oriented and my kids were so good. They sat us upstairs which was fun for my kids (they love stairs for whatever reason lol). Such a cool little cozy spot! They served bread and olive oil to start, Yum! We got the beef carpaccio for appetizer and it was wonderful. I had a few glasses of house white with dinner. I got the orichette pasta with sausage and my husband got salmon dish. Kids got pesto pasta. All our food was top notch! Delicious! No complaints. Portions are huge!!! We got dessert of course!!! husband got tiramisu (he's a tiramisu snob and this was one of his favorites), I got the chocolate cake with ice cream!! They came and sang me happy birthday in Italian. It was wonderful!!! Our server was one of the best servers I've ever had. I wish I could remember her name. You can really tell the staff and regular customers are all a big family. It's truly the perfect little Italian restaurant! Everything was just delicious and perfect and we've been raving about it since. The best birthday dinner! Can't wait to go back!!!

Our favorite place for pasta in Sonoma area! We always make a stop here, for the great food and stellar service. The waiters are always charming and funny and make our night better. More of a lively, family cozy vibe, and it feels authentic and not pretentious. Always packed on weekends so make a reservation! Our go-to orders are the 4 cheese pasta and bucatini amatriciana. The salami and burrata are nice apps to start with, and the wine is affordable and good as well. Afterward we always stop by the cute ice cream place next door for dessert. Highly recommend if you're visiting the area!

Wow! Dinner here was quite the experience, from food, ambiance, wait staff. All were extremely kind and welcoming. The food was phenomenal. I keep dreaming about the shrimp pasta dish I had. The space itself is small and intimate, but I loved that about it. It made me feel as though I was back in Italy. I definitely plan to come back as this is a newly discovered favorite!

Lococo's decor is so cute! I absolutely love the vibe, lighting, and overall mood of the place. It feels warm and aesthetic, perfect for a night out. The service, however, was a little slow. They weren't busy when we first arrived, but it did get busier later, which I understand can slow things down. What was frustrating was that when I asked other staff members for our check because our server was unavailable, no one else could bring it. It seems like only your assigned server can assist you. Even when we wanted to add to our order, or asked for certain things they had to track down our server instead of helping directly. It didn't feel like there was much teamwork, so if your server is tied up at another table, you just have to wait and that's what happened to us. The food was okay. My friend enjoyed her meal, but I think my risotto may have been overcooked. The rice was quite mushy and lacked the slight bite in the center that risotto usually has. It felt more like rice cooked in a rice cooker with seafood broth and toppings added on top, rather than a traditionally prepared risotto. Overall, it was an okay experience. Maybe I just came on an off night. I'm not sure.

These were our servers on the left and the right!

This is one of the best restaurants, my parents and I have ever eaten in. The wait staff was absolutely incredible They were patient and kind. I am disabled and they gave me fantastic accommodations with a cushion on my chair. The entrées were beyond incredible. The appetizers were just as incredible as the service continually through the whole experience. My parents and I with their friends joining and Howard have visited this restaurant over the years six times and it is one of our most favorite places to go to enjoy a family meal. If you haven't tried La Coco's Italian of incredible flavors taste service and decor. I recommend this 100%.

Four of us went here Tuesday night and the food and service were great despite the place being packed; unusual for the night after MLK day. The one knock on the place is when it is busy it is beyond loud; difficult to hold a conversation but, again, the staff was on point. Caesar Salads are good and huge though they charge extra for anchovies which is odd. Sharing is likely a good idea, in fact all the portions were so large they were each more than enough for two. The very good Calamari appetizer was more than enough for four. As they provide bread with nice Tapenade the appetizer was not needed. The Pasta ( De Mare special, (Pasta with seafood) the PAPPARDELLE CON CINGHIALE Pappardelle with housemade, wild boar sausage, and Cremini mushrooms) and Osso Buco were all excellent. Needless to say there was no room for anything else and all had another meal to take home for the next day. So if you don't like loud or don't like leftovers you had better pick a slow night and plan on sharing dishes. Excellent food and value. Food was far better than the pictures show.

Where do I even start... lococo's is one of the Italian restaurants in Sonoma County. Everything on the menu is delicious the pastas are amazing and the staff is really friendly. They threat you like family my favorite part is when they all get together and come to your table to sing you happy birthday. The place feels like you're in a rustic restaurant out in Italy the low lighting is perfect for a date night.

Nice place in Railroad Square. We have never eaten here before, a, took my son here for his birthday. He is a cook and a foodie and this is where he chose. Nice family-style atmosphere and vibe. We had a 5 pm reservation as we did not want the crowds. We asked to be seated upstairs and initially had it to ourselves. It filled up later during our service. My son ordered the special, which was a Lasagna Bolognese. Wow, everyone at the table thought it was great! They should have it on the menu all the time. It was all the flavors you want in a homemade lasagna, but better. It was nicely layered with ricotta, meat sauce, cheeses and a rich overall taste. I ordered the eggplant parmesan, and it had great flavor. The eggplant was just firm enough, and the sauce made the dish. My wife had the spicy fettuccini Gambari dish with prawns. The taste was just spicy enough to enjoy, but it did not distract from the other flavors. It tasted good, but you can't dress up fettuccine very well. My son's girlfriend ordered the Petite Filet off the specials menu, and it was done to perfection, as long as you like it medium-rare. I mean anything more than medium is just jerky. It had great flavor and was very tender. We were all too full to order dessert, and I was able to take home my rigatoni pasta that came with the eggplant and added the leftover spicy fettuccini sauce, which tasted great the next day. I will certainly come back here again. The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly.

Mamma mia! That's'a mighty fine'a plate'a food. I'd been traveling for hours, stopped in Santa Rosa, and my hotel check-in clerk lit up with a HUGE SMILE when I asked "where can I get a decent pasta meal?" "It's practically across the street," she said. No lie. I walked it. I was a tad bit ahead of the dinner rush, solo diner, no reservation, but was seated when I whispered to the host, "I'll be quick. I just want to eat some great pasta, and then take a little walk, and then sleep for hours." I ordered the ravioli which came with a magnificent marinara sauce that complemented the puffs, didn't overwhelm them. I'm tellin' ya, it was sublime and the perfect portion size. The bread and oil/vinegar service was lovely and my requested butter was delivered without batting an eye. I declined a salad to start, hydrated with plenty of water, and left after 25 minutes one happy traveler. Can't wait to hit up Santa Rosa again in my travels. KEEPER! Pics when I find them in my old phone - the one that crashed the next day. Still retrieving stuff. But, I digress. This sweet little restaurant is EVERYTHING a great neighborhood Italian place should be: welcoming, nicely appointed, GREAT food, and perfect portions. Doesn't hurt that there's an ice cream spot right next door. Old town/downtown Santa Rosa has it goin' on!

From the moment I walked in, good vibes all around. Julie is serving me at the bar and she is on point. I started with a glass of Vermentino and the Insalata Della Casa. How many house salads come with artichokes and pickled onions these days? It was light and refreshing. Moving on to the pasta course. I ordered the Scarpariello and it was surprisingly light for a pasta dish, and loaded with flavor. Yellow and red baby tomato sauce with fresh basil, Calabria chili and pecorino. I wanted a glass of red to accompany the dish and was contemplating a Primitivo. When I mentioned this to Julie, she offered an off list Primitivo without the jammy punch. It was nice, she was on to what I was trying to achieve. I ended up with a Sangiovese and my dignity. All around a great experience and I didn't feel like I was mugged after paying the bill. I really appreciate a good glass of wine for $12-15. I am exhausted by paying $20 for mediocre wine in wine country. Thank you Julie and company for appreciating your cliente. Once seated, it took another 20+ minutes before anyone came to take our order -- we eventually had to flag down the hostess ourselves to say we were ready. When the food arrived, it was missing an appetizer and one of the dinner entrees. Service throughout the meal was inconsistent: our waiter never asked if we wanted drinks, and we had to request one ourselves, without ever being asked if others at the table wanted anything to drink. Multiple times we had to flag down other servers just to get basic service, and we asked for a dessert menu three separate times before it showed up. Most concerning, my toddler has an egg allergy, and we had to confirm multiple times whether dishes contained egg. At one point the waiter responded that it "wasn't a big egg allergy," which was a confusing and honestly worrying thing to hear when asking about food safety for a child. On top of all that, the affogato wasn't actually an affogato -- it was just frozen vanilla ice cream with frozen espresso, not the classic hot-espresso-poured-over-ice-cream dessert we expected. Food overall was subpar, we also saw 3 of the wait staff take a shot of alcohol with another table while completing ignoring service for our table. Overall, a disappointing experience with very slow, inattentive service and a concerning lack of clarity around allergy safety. We definitely will not recommend to family and friends, and will go out of our way to mention to any travelers to the area to avoid this place!

From the outside, it's a pretty unassuming building. When we walked in, I got more of a diner vibe than an Italian restaurant. The décor is simple and straightforward without a lot of frills, but we were there for the food, not the décor. We were seated almost immediately, and our waitress was friendly and laid back. She also let us know that we had arrived just in time for happy hour, so naturally we had to order some drinks and appetizers. We tried both the red and white sangrias, which our waitress had made fresh that day. They were refreshing and hit the spot. To start, we ordered the calamari and shared a Caesar salad. We also enjoyed some of the house focaccia bread. For our entrées, I chose the Lamb Ragu while my wife went with the Pappardelle Bolognese. Everything arrived in a timely manner and came out hot and fresh. The calamari was crispy and well prepared. The focaccia was good, although I would have preferred it served warm. The Caesar salad was flavorful and the perfect size for sharing. The lamb in the Lamb Ragu was cooked perfectly, and the pasta had a great texture and chew. The Pappardelle Bolognese was hearty, meaty, and equally well executed. Portion sizes for both dishes were just right and satisfying without being overwhelming. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and had a pleasant dining experience. My only critique is that both pasta dishes could have used a little more seasoning, particularly salt, to make the flavors pop a bit more. Aside from that, Eddie's delivered a good Italian dinner with friendly service and good value.

After a couple of awkward seconds, I ask where the bathrooms are and he finally points them out to us. What's worse, at the end of the night, my niece was leaving with her husband when another female staff member rudely told them they couldn't exit directly out the parking lot (even though it was the same entrance where people came in at beginning of the party) and actually grabbed my niece's arm. My niece told her "don't touch me." This staff person then went inside the restaurant and my niece heard the employee screaming in anger. Incredible that this is how their people treat their customers during a huge event. The owner should be completely embarrassed by their employees' unprofessional and rude behavior. They might want to get their employees some anger management training or better yet hire new ones that have experience in the hospitality industry. Until then, pretty sure we can get good meatballs and lasagna some place else that doesn't treat paying customers like garbage.

Very, very good. My BF had the spaghetti and meatballs. He was very happy with his dish. Both dishes were good sized too. My mother had the baked penne bolognese and she loved it. It was huge and was able to take some home. The other two in our group had the chicken marsala and a shitake and sausage pizza. Both were very happy with their dishes. Our server was an Indian gal, who was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. We always ask to have each course spaced out. It is a major pet peeve of mine if I'm eating my pre-dinner salad and my entree comes out while I'm still eating it. And that's not even at lower end restaurants, but at nicer restaurants too. They just don't care, they just want you out of there so they can serve the next table. Of course, we asked our server for the same here, to please not bring each course until we've finished the previous course. And was sooo happy when that is exactly what she did. It all has to do with the server and when she turns the order into the kitchen. She was excellent. We will be coming back for sure.

Short rib special ! Sub'd polenta for the veggies. It was delicious, but next time I'll ask for light amount of oil.

Beef short ribs - yes!!! With zucchini carrot "noodles". Both were so delicious. The beef easily fell of the bone - so tender!
