I decided to get a second piercing on both ears for my birthday. I called to check availability, and they were able to get me in within the hour. Medical grade steel is used for the piercings, and Alf was very clean with the entire procedure. He used gloves and everything used was disposable. I also embarrassingly become faint after needles are poked in me (happens when I draw blood too), and after the second piercing went in, I started to black out. Alf immediately knew what to do and started fanning me, offered me water, and laid me down in the chair. He made me feel so comfortable during the situation, and I was grateful. I came in a few weeks later, and Alf checked my piercings to make sure I was healing properly and even cleaned them for me. His studio is a great addition to the area. Honestly, I got my very first tattoo here and I could not be any happier! I reached out to Alf literally yesterday night and he responded this morning regarding the pricing, appointment times, etc.. I got extremely lucky because I was able to get it done today. His studio is amongst many others in the building and his own personal space was very clean and organized. I had already described to him what I wanted before arriving at my appointment so he had an idea regarding the design but also made some samples with me to ensure it would be perfect. Everything from razors, wraps, trays, etc was brand new for each individual making it beyond sanitary. Moving on to the actual tattoo, it turned out perfect. Because this was my first tattoo, I was nervous for the pain but Alf has a great quality machine that made it feel like nothing. So the studio is inside of the complex as one of several separate small studios, and the outside door is labeled as a salon, and the outside door was locked (Covid safety)--so if it's your first time, just give him a call and he will guide you in. It's the first door on the right. Easy. I walked into the studio and immediately felt comfortable with the vibe in there, I'll kinds of dope artwork on the walls and a display case with jewelry and awesome stickers and other stuff. For the tat, Alf asked me if I'd eaten (I had, because I'm not a fool, haha) and he offered me some snacks if I wanted any. He put the stencil on, sanitized everything and set up, and we got down to business. I have to say, Alf's line work is impeccable, and he is very gentle and not heavy-handed at all. It was super easy to hang with him throughout the process, and he had a nice selection of lo-fi chill beats playing. He also offered to put on something of my choice on Netflix too, but I was enjoying the music, chatting and joking around, so we left it. When we finished up, the price was more than fair, so I tipped him some extra for the good vibes and quick work. I love the piece and look forward to my next one with him.
