Absolutely horrible horrible staff. Extremely racist workers who mock you. Went there twice, and both times the staff treated us poorly. They spoke in Arabic thinking we wouldn't understand them, but we heard their racist and rude remarks loud and clear. Wow, I just went there and I was shocked by the blatant disregard of health rules during this Covid 19 pandemic. Even though they have signs posted that to enter the bakery, you have to be wearing a mask, NOBODY WAS WEARING A MASK! Not the customer in front of me. Not the person who was working there. There wasn't any PPE that I could see. Combine that with the fact that all the food was exposed to whatever might be floating around in the air or what could have already settled on the food, Had me leave without buying anything. I don't trust a place that does not follow health codes, especially during Covid 19. Hopefully they will change this. read more

Kudos for the owner for such tasty delights honestly you are the best. We came in 3 times in 2 days serviced by 3 different people including the owner and the customer service was superb. First time was a young guy funny and nice, second time was the owner very polite and respectful, third time a lady she was amazing honest and so pleasant. We came across this Sweet Shop after hearing about Knafeh/Kunefa on a cooking competition show on Netflix. I typed in the dessert and this was the first place to show up. And they did not disappoint. It was clear to the staff and the patrons that we were new so we were given a sample of a lovely pistachio baklava. Then we threw caution to the wind and trusted the gentleman behind the counter to mix us up and fine assortment. We ended up with a 1 pound assortment that looked as delicious as the sample. Texture and consistency were absolutely wonderful. Our only wish would have been the addition of names or descriptions of what was on display. I suppose that most customers are of the community which is apparent in the Arabic being spoken amongst staff and customers alike. Still for the newbies it would help in knowing what we're eating and then being able to return for our favorites and call them by name. All in all we are very pleased with this lovely and unexpected find in Spring Valley, which is also very easy to find. read more

A little family owned middle eastern sweets store with the best baklava I've ever tried! Great variety, everything's very fresh and even sometimes still warm! They let you try pretty much everything so you know what you're getting. My favorite one is with custard and pistachios - sooo yummy!
