Greeted warmly by a very nice lady as I entered. I asked how the baklava is sold. She explained that the sweets on this side of the counter was $12/lb and the other side was $14/lb. You can mix&match different sides of the counter for $13/lb. She showed me the various tray sizes that were available. The baklava I choose were all yummy--Not overly sweet. Ugh I love this place SOOOOO much. Like you don't get it. Nothing is bad here. I come here all the time for some fresh Kanafeh. Call it in and they'll have it HOT & FREAH ready for you. I alternate between cheese or gamer (cream) but my heart loves cheese more especially the first bite and the cheese pull is insane. Also, I can't leave without getting a few pieces of Znoud El Sit. I liveeee for those. 2 bite dessert that will have you eating 4 pieces before you even know it. They make it the BEST here. Came here on a whim, because I was going to pick up food from a restaurant in the same plaza, and man, that was one of my better decisions in recent memory. I've been twice, both times loading up on baklava. The best thing about this place (aside from the food and the great service) is how far away it is from my place. If it weren't so far, I would spend A LOT more money here. The quick low-down. Baklava is $12/lb, the phyllo dough is crisp, and the syrup, while sweet, doesn't make you feel disgusting afterwards (which is dangerous, you need some serious self-control with this stuff). The guy working there also gave me some samples, which was really kind (and they tasted really really good). They have pistachio, walnut, and some pastries with cream inside of them (served warm), and some other cookies and confections. I've only gotten the baklava there, and honestly, Alhamdani gives me a great reason to make the trek out to spring valley. read more

Although, I haven't physically visited this sweet shop... I have tasted 4 kinds of their baklava's & I must say, it's the best I've had! My coworker's wife had brought a small tray full of them for our office & I couldn't stop myself from going back into our break room & grabbing more! Each bite was delightful. The triangle shaped had so much pistachios & one thing for sure is they are not greedy with it. The rolled up baklava's were so sweet, that every single bite I took, I can feel the sweetness melt in my mouth & it wasn't overly powering either considering there was chocolate drizzle on top. Every single one I had was delicious & I cannot wait to come here myself & order everything! I would definitely recommend trying it & having some of these at your next party.
