And I was shown to my chair to wait for Tina to do my nails, she had another client so the owners husband started on my nails to remove the gel, he was very kind and efficient. They're all very sweet there. The vibe is relaxed, and quiet. Sometimes a little too quiet for me but it was very clean and Tina did a great job and she was such a sweetheart. I would check them out, they close at 7:30pm I believe- later than most nail salons and they're really good. Oh and my gel manicure was only 35.00! Love that.

I typically request an appointment online and despite doing so unless it is early in the morning the appointment always runs much longer than necessary due to how busy they are. I'm not sure if it is due to overbooking or just allowing too many walk-ins, but I have definitely had to wait over 20 minutes for an appointment I made in advanced which is unacceptable. Charming nail is one of the only salons in the area which offers dazzle dry, but the consistency of the service is all over the place. Some technicians follow the dazzle dry procedures perfectly which results in a long lasting manicure, but others don't and my nails chip less than 24 hours after being done. This is frustrating when I'm spending $30 plus tip for something that doesn't last. Especially when I'm getting nails done for a special event. Overall the vibe of the salon is good and the people are nice, but I do hope this lapse in recent service rectifies itself so that I can feel confident in going back.

The sides of my nails were not filled in, and when I asked for them to be filled in The Nail tech said quotations I don't do that because I file down the sides after and when there's too much polish on the sides, it looks chunky." I then shook my head and said OK knowing that as the customer I want what I want I am definitely not a Karen but when I am paying for service, I would like to be heard and feel like I am getting what I pay for. Onto the attitude, my nail tech was on the phone arguing with her boyfriend at the beginning of the service which again I was respectful, kept my mouth shut, but hoped that it didn't interfere with the service moving forward. It almost felt like she didn't want to do my nails and she just wanted to leave, which is not something a customer ever wants to feel after my service was done. She took her apron off, grabbed her purse and was running out the door, which again made me feel a little uncomfortable as a customer you never want your customers to feel that they're an inconvenience. Walking in the place was beautiful. It seemed very clean. The music was very nice. When I called for the appointment, the man that answered was very polite and super sweet. I will give this 2 stars as I will chalk this up as somebody not having the best day. But even on a bad day, first impressions are everything.
