Have a found my new favorite cocktail?! The Hot Shot is SO good- ended up ordering a second one because it's so refreshing. Atmosphere is lively with average/loud music. Dining room and bar were north completely filled but it's a relatively small place so not overwhelming. 100% made to be trendy with the decor and a top place to go for night life

Cute place but vibe-killing playlist including Billy Idol's Mony Mony, Reelin in the Years by Steely Dan, Billy Joel and the Bangles. WTH?

We celebrated my birthday in the back room one year, and it was an absolute delight. I love this place! The food is delicious, the service is top-tier, and the owner makes his rounds to make you feel at home. I highly recommend for group dinners and date nights.

Haven't been here for a long time. I think the last time I visited was around the time they opened. I typically don't like Asian fusion, but I'm always open to trying something twice. Staff was very nice and service was good. Food is on the pricey side for portion size. Flavors were ok - not good, not bad. Over half the items were VERY salty. Drinks were decently strong. Overall, I think this place is fine for people who have never had Asian food before and are testing the waters, but it's not for me. I still would not recommend this place, and I would not come back.

Dined for the first time today after hearing good things. The ambiance is very nice and the staff very friendly and attentive. Music is great. The food was good and portion size reasonable although on the smaller side. Pricing on the high side. Pad Thai came after 10 minutes but the sushi rolls took over 25 minutes. The waitress apologized saying they only had one sushi chef. I had the passion fruit margarita and it didn't taste like passion fruit. For dessert, we had their chocolate pie and it was good. Not bad but probably not a place I'd come back or recommend.

Alice is FAB! One of my new favorite Asian restaurants in DFW. Not a traditional sushi joint - think Asian tapas! Great for groups of friends and sharing plates. The live DJ is absolutely grand, and the mood is incredible inside. Don't skip on the espresso martini (thank me later), and the yellowtail sashimi is DIVINE! Can't wait to dine again!

Was in the area for an event, so of course, I had to check out my namesake & I was not disappointed. Ordered the brussels sprouts appetizer, skirt steak & yellowtail sashimi, which turned out to be my favorite, thinly sliced & very fresh. Servers definitely took care of us & good music. It does get loud but its expected.

Dang. Apparently I wrote a review and in a foggy moment discarded it. This place deserves a great review. Let's start with Trish. She was amazing and even though we were the only ones on the patio she never forgot us!! The food was fantastic! Everything was delicious and we ate a lot! The drinks were great too. Definitely will come back again.

Came for date night and we enjoyed the cozy, romantic, casual ambiance. Food is shareable small plates, so come hungry and try a lot! We got the Lychee Martini, edamame/shishito peppers, lettuce wraps, steamed buns (brisket), pork ribs, and skirt steak. My favorite was the pork ribs. Flavor was so good & meat fell right off the bone. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Is it super authentic Asian food? No. But it's good Asian fusion and variation on authentic dishes, which I always enjoy trying. Loved the vibe of the place and recommend if you're looking for something lowkey cool. There is street parking or valet ($10).

Super eclectic divey spot. I didn't realize it was Pan Asian until I saw the menu. This place is super dark inside; not a super fan of that..... but that's a trend with restaurants these days. Our server was good; not overly friendly but also not rude. The menu has a very nice selection; price to portion size is decent. We definitely left full! Love the small plate options. My favorite thing here was the sesame salad; the flavor profile was just amazing on that particular dish. The steamed buns were next; the chicken ones; the brisket ones were a tad disappointing flavor wise. The edamame shishitos were a third on my favorites. Everything thing else was yummy but not show stoppers. The sushi rolls were decent. The pad Thai was probably my least favorite thing we ordered. It was too peanutty. I wasn't a fan. The drinks were delicious. All in all; super vibey spot, great drinks, good food and I left full!

I absolutely love the decor. There's a front room and a "secret" back room. 2 completely different looks. Aesthetically very pleasing and great for pics. Small restaurant, not a lot of tables so definitely make reservations for popular nights. Tapas are my favorite especially with groups. We ordered one of everything. The menu is small, the food was ok and the drinks were fun. Our server seemed to be working a couple different stations and at some point forgot about us. We never received our pad tai. Nevertheless, the experience was light and comfortable and fun. I'll likely give it another try and visit again.

I came to Alice for a Christmas dinner with my friend. We shared the Pu Pu platter for $45. The meatballs and ribs were the best part of it. The fried calamari and teriyaki chicken were kind of dry. The Bao buns were standard. We also shared a small fried rice -- emphasis on that it was quite small, but tasty. We had a few drinks--wine, cocktails. Overall, the service was great. The waiters were very attentive and helped describe menu items. When we arrived, we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Thursday at 6; but by the time we left, the place was packed. The look and feel of the restaurant were nice. Very upscale. For how gorgeous the interior was, the food did not match up for me especially for the prices. I don't think I would visit again.

Came to Alice for my girl's birthday dinner. Wasn't sure what to expect, from outside the location looks bigger but it's really cute inside! Very luxe and cozy, lots of velvet; swanky but not overdone. Also enjoyed the music, literally every song was perfect. We ordered a bunch of things at once and honestly that's the best method given how the kitchen works. Rolls take the longest so there's really no way to start with them, unfortunately. I had the Two Old Dogs Sauv Blanc, which was yummy. Edamame and Shishitos were SO good. I'm not sure what the seasoning was on the shishitos but it's perfection. I also had fried rice, it has shrimp and Chinese sausage, was delicious and just the right amount of rice. Finished with a Mama Bear Roll that was divine. I would definitely come to Alice again for some light bites over a drink.

That's not where the differences stop as the Archive menu provides more traditional cocktails and a diverse array to choose from, with drinks you may be more familiar with. Alchemy on the other hand offers a more experimental approach to their drink menu, including creative cocktails that seem eclectic and never been tried before, using unusual ingredients or prepared in a unique way, but if you are feeling adventurous, I'd highly recommend trying the latter. Keep in mind, when entering Alchemy, the inside is very dark so if you want to see properly I would recommend sitting outside if it isn't too hot. To start, my friends and I ordered the truffle fries for the table and they were highly ranked in my opinion for best truffle fries in Dallas. They were perfectly crispy and flavored well with the truffle seasoning. For drinks, from the alchemy menu, we ordered the I Dream of Kiwi (my choice), Kaleidoscope Eyes, and Inappropriate Beet Pun. My drink was made up of bamboo tea gin, kiwi coconut water, plum wine, and kiwi boba. I liked the sweetness mixed with tartness and the boba balls added a nice touch. Additionally we ordered the pineapple soft serve margaritas (it was my first time experiencing soft serve margs) and I really enjoyed Apothecary's version. The pineapple flavor was tangy alongside the creaminess of the ice cream. And there was a nice chili salt garnish (similar to tajin) added on top. For food, I ordered the Lil' Thuggies, a hilarious name for a dish that is actually very delicious. It consisted of popcorn chicken nuggets, cooked in sweet tea brine and spiced flour, served with a side of epazote ranch and korean wing sauce respectively. My friends ordered the Japanese elotes and Muhammara (roasted red pepper & walnut spread, greek oil, sea salt, microgreens, grilled baguette). Both very tasty as well, with the elotes having a cream sauce on top. Overall I can't wait to go back to apothecary and maybe try the other side next time.

Ordered a couple "Over the Counter" cocktails - frozen pineapple margarita and an old fashioned. Happy hour also included a lot of food options so we chose to just order a bunch off of that - Icelandic Hotdog, Caviar Chip (both bite sized), oysters, beef cheek tacos, and a caesar salad and burger to split. Was more than enough! We also tried the frozen Irish Coffee and Horseplay (horseradish agua fresca) and then went for our second reservation at Alchemy. Alchemy is more experimental. Here we tried a kimchi based cocktail and the sauerkraut cake. Food and drinks were all phenomenal and the atmosphere of both bars was moody and elegant. Definitely plan to come back to try more drinks! All wait staff were very friendly and the owner even stopped by to chat with us.

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.
