I had a washing machine installed today. The hose bid connections from the house were old and wouldn't shut off. Upon trying they started leaking. I went to Home Depot and got parts but made things worse and knew when to stop. I called Colton at Aljen and he sensed my panic and came over. 20 minutes later we have the pipes cleaned and ready. Colton suggested 1/4 turn valves instead of the standard ones I bought. Monday morning leak in our dining room ceiling freaked me out so I shut off the water and called Aljen Plumbing Co. They responded right away and were here in minutes as they are Carlsbad area locals. Alan & Colton promptly got to work opening the ceiling drywall and found a pinhole leak in a copper 90 elbow. I made a mistake and caused some drains to break loose under the kitchen sink. A quick makeshift solution made the sink partially usable with a good chance to leak, but i really needed it repaired right and quickly. The medium to large companies were days out at a minimum, but Colton got back to me within a couple hours and told me he'd try to work me in the next day. No guarantee he'd be free, but i wasn't working through a call center or office manager, so he and I were able to trade a few texts, and he was able to come by, fix my mistake and get everything flowing and running as best as possible. Yesterday, while trying to close a toilet stop valve because my toilet was running intermittently, I used too much force and the valve handle which was frozen snapped off. Water was leaking into my bathroom through the broken valve. I had to turn off my main water valve. I had no water. I called the father and team at Aljien this morning . I was so glad that I did. I actually reached a live person not answering machine. Colton and his dad worked me into their schedule and were there by midmorning. This is an OUTSTANDING plumbing company ! Three of my neighbors as well as my general contractor have told me to use this father / son plumbing company when I needed a plumber next. They all said it was their unbelievable customer service but their plumbing skills was more then 5 stars. Last night was the night. My hot water heaters went...and they went with a bang. Big leak but we could not see where the leak was coming from. It was after dinner and I called. They were done for the day but came right over and looked at my 18 year old gas water heaters with recirculating pump. They determined the leak was internal and sadly said "it was time". They drained the hot water heaters put fans on to help dry the area and said they would be back in the morning. Allen and Colton came first thing in the morning with two new hot water heaters. They removed the old and installed the new. Writing this review does not adequately capture the high quality customer service or their amazing knowledge. YOU WILL LOVE THESE men.
