We opened the unlocked door walked in and the door chimed. The lady knew we entered the restaurant, but refused to speak to us until I hollered to let her know that we would like a seat. She said the restaurant is closed until 1030 then rudely turned back around and continued rolling silverware or whatever. No care in the world to let us know that they opened in 15 minutes and we could wait to feed the family that we brought into the restaurant. Clearly she didn't care enough. Stopped in on our way back to Texas from Gatlinburg. It was around 4pm when we got in, there was one other group there while we were dining. It's a walk in, order, then go find a seat type of restaurant. The staff were very friendly, stopping by to ask if we needed anything and making themselves available. They were also noted to be cleaning doors and windows rather than waiting around with no customers. Love that! As far as food goes- it took a good minute to prepare (again, we came at an off time). Menus online are up to date. I had the patty melt, others had chicken tenders. Food was mediocre, nothing too special but also not bad. If you have kids, they would love this place. Over 8 years our youngest son was born and went to the NICU at UAMS. During his stay there, my husband took our older two boys (at the time 6 and 3 years old) to All-Aboard. We came here on a total whim by kind of blindly picking a place off a list from the Internet. I honestly would never have chosen this place, but I'm so glad we came. This is an unassuming little spot at the end of a strip mall on a fairly busy road. Inside there are two long aisles of booths, and each side of the restaurant has a whole train apparatus that runs around just below the ceiling and actually delivers your food! It drops your food onto a platform above your table, and the platform lowers down to your table and raises back up after you grab your order. It's a fun novelty! You order at the counter and choose your seat after, then the train finds you based on the little pager you're given at the counter. The staff there was super nice. There was only one counter, so as it was starting to get busy, the line looked like it was moving very slowly. Thankfully we beat the crowd and only had to wait for one person in front of us, but did note that it took awhile to order.  This was clearly a very popular place for kids given the amount of children in here with their parents, but we enjoyed it equally as a group of adults. They have a pretty large menu of burgers, baskets (chicken, catfish, etc), wings, pita wraps, salads. I was so tempted by the fried catfish basket, but I've been lacking on my vegetables lately and needed to be healthy, so I opted for the baby spinach and strawberry salad. Really anything with goat cheese is the easiest way to my food heart. This is a pretty casual place with a bit of a diner vibe, so I didn't expect my salad to be super great or fancy, just good. But it was one of the best salads I'd had in a long time. It had yummy fresh cut strawberries, quality baby spinach, slivered almonds, ample goat cheese, and the poppy seed dressing complemented it SO well. I added grilled chicken to it, and the chicken was really good, too. I ate a strip of the chicken before I got silverware, and I would totally eat that as a snack it was that yummy. I gobbled the entire salad up and was actually quite full afterwards. Consensus from the group was that their food was really great (burgers and fruit, mostly, in people's order) and rose well above everyone's expectations. So, this might never have been on your list to visit, but you can't judge a book by its cover and I certainly recommend checking it out. Especially if you have kids with you! read more

Based on a recent article I read about places to take kids during Spring break I decided to take my grandkids to All Aboard on Cantrell to take advantage of their advertised 2-4PM Kids Happy Hour and Tuesday double cheeseburger deal. We arrived about 1:45PM on Tuesday 3/24, but were willing to wait until 2PM, if we had to, to order the Happy Hour special. We were told that the Kids Happy Hour had to be ordered after 2PM but we attempted to go ahead and order the Tuesday double cheeseburger deal. Unfortunately, the cashier and another staff member were totally unfamiliar with either special and thought the Tuesday double cheeseburger special was limited to certain times of the day. (If that is the case, the website needs to be corrected since no times are mentioned for the Tuesday or Wednesday specials.) After more than 15 minutes of trying to place our order we gave up and left shortly after 2PM. The owner was present but never came to the front to sort out the situation. The staffs' unfamiliarity with the specials listed on the website was not helpful and we ended up taking the children to Chic fil A instead. The train motif was fun and the kids seemed in awe watching to trolly move around the elevated tracks. The food may be good, but I'll never find out since the staff did not know what they were doing and the owner was disinterested in our business. read more

There are so many things that factor into my rating. Food 2 out of 5. I got the Angus Beef burger with Mac n Cheese while my husband got the shrimp basket and fries. My burger was WAY over cooked and the Mac n Cheese was well... standard Mac n cheese. The shrimp and fries were pretty good though! Ambiance and creativity 5 out of 5! So you order as you come in, get your drink and condiments, and find a seat. The staff was very accommodating. I called ahead to let them know I would have a party of 10 coming in the next day and the approximate time. The time changed a couple of times because of a wreck. From the moment you walk into the door, it is catered towards kids (and the occasional train lover). There are two train tables in the front with toys for the kids to play with. There are also train toys and outfits to be bought for little conductors. Then there's the food. We stopped at this place on our road trip to Nashville from Dallas. It is a great concept for the little ones and that is the reason you should go, the trains, not necessarily the food. That said, everything is very well-priced for what you get. Located in a strip mall, we had not problems finding parking and the place was not crowded at all on a Friday night. There are games and toys for the kids to use if you happen to have to wait for a table. We ordered at the counter and then were seated at one of the tables on the inside.
