I requested service on my clothes dryer on a Tuesday. On Wed., the repairman came out and diagnosed the problem as the heater unit. He wanted 45.00 for the part he said but I only had 60 dollars so he said he would apply the rest to the repair, and order the part which should be in on Friday or Monday. Friday came and went, then Monday without so much as a call. On Tuesday I called twice, the first time leaving a message, and the second time another message. Never got a call back. The next day I got a call from a lady who said they could get a repair man out on Thur. to evaluate our problem. I told her that their repairman had already evaluated the problem and I had given him 60.00 in cash to order the part that was to come in on last Friday or Monday. She apologized for the error and after taking some time said that the part would be in on Thursday. I said I felt that no one had ordered the part and they were just now doing so and I thought to cancel the order all together. At that point I asked her what day they ordered the part, and the line dropped. I called right back and got voicemail. Later I received a call from a man who said that he was the acting manager and that the owners were away and they had taken a lot of the records with them. He had no idea about anything, didn't not know when the part had been ordered so I told him to cancel my order. He asked why I had given the tech. 60 dollars and I said I didn't have change so it was to go for the part. He said the service call is 45 anyway and I wouldn't get that back. No problem, I said to just send me a check for the 15.00. Been over a week. No check. Now here's the kicker. This week I had more time and I downloaded the manual for the dryer. we took the back off to check the fuses, as prescribed. The first thing we noticed was that a wire was off the terminal from on of the fuses. We then took off the two fuses and checked them. All good. Put the wires back on, including the one that was off, and what do you know, our dryer now works just fine. I am going on every site I can find and tell this story. read more

We used this company through our home warranty company. First negative was that they didn't call the first time to set up the appointment.. the tech just showed up. Also, during the process of fixing our microwave, another problem arose which they claimed they didn't cause....but the issue wasn't there before the tech worked on it. Total lack of communication between their associates caused me a lot of frustration. We had another home warranty with them for our dishwasher.. and they ordered the wrong part. It's been two weeks that we haven't had a dishwasher. I will refuse them as a contractor again if my hone warranty company ever wants to use them. read more

Incredibly disappointed by the lack of customer service provided by All American Appliance. I did not choose them, they were chosen for me by Home Depot. A short description, several calls were never returned. Was told parts needed to be ordered, we called 3 times over a period of two weeks without a response. They finally repaired our dishwasher, but it still needed another part fixed. Was told they were ordering it. That was two weeks ago - i have called and they still aren't responding. We were assigned them with our home warranty company. The main problem is they never respond. They must be overworked with all the warranty work. They don't come out when they say, No one can get them on the phone. They say they need to order a part and then a month later they haven't returned a call or they always seem to get the wrong part and then we never hear from them again. Getting through by phone was difficult - couldn't get through to the Cottonwood Office so tried the Flagstaff Office -- still nothing. Finally an hour later I tried my luck again and got through to the Cottonwood Office and spoke to a helpful receptionist who gave me an 11am-2pm slot and gave a very reasonable price for someone to check out our washing machine and stove top. The repair man came - I believe his name was Peter. He was very professional, efficient and personable. I recommend him 5 stars. Although we had bad news about our appliances, Peter was helpful in understanding the problem and finding possible solutions. I recommend All-American appliances but wish they had better communication as the technician was great but not getting through the frist few times I tried calling almost made me choose another company. read more

Their repairman Cory is first rate, trustworthy, professinal, and just a good person. They will always be the first firm I call for appliance repair. Overall an extremely unprofessional experience. The women who handled my information and scheduling was very polite. But unfortunately they did not show up at all on the scheduled date with no notice or call. I had to notify them that they miss their appointment. 3 days later they sent out a technician, who seemed as though fixing my washer was an inconvenience to him and didn't make any attempt to fix the machine. I called once more to notify them it was still broken so they place the broken part on order. My washer has been broken for two months now.... Do not use this company. read more

My wife contacted Kitchen Aid Service Department because our dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes very good, leaving them oily feeling and failing to remove any food that may have been on them. Kitchen Aid gave us the number of All American Appliance and we called and made an appointment. When the service technician arrived he looked over the dishwasher, my wife explained the problems we had been having with the dishwasher not cleaning the dishes and he diagnosed the problem as being the upper wash and rinse spray-arm. PN AP377596. The part was ordered, we were charged $202.50, which we paid for with a check and then later the service technician came back and installed the part. After the installation of the part we used the dishwasher and it was doing exactly the same thing. So, we called All American Appliance back and another service call was scheduled between 1100-1500 on Tuesday August 26th. At 1445 on that day my wife called and All American Appliance because the technician had not shown up. At that time Angelica advised that there had been a mistake on their end and he would not be coming out. However, he had previously diagnosed the problem as being the motor, which was about $175.00, and that they could order the part if I wished. I asked if she was certain it was the motor and she said yes. However, based on the confusion she offered to refund full amount ($202.50). I called the next day to confirm that she had mailed the check and she said she had mailed it late Wednesday so it probably wouldn't go out until Thursday (August 28th). By Thursday of the following week the check still had not arrived. When I called Angelica back she, said that she could not control the mail and asked if I would give it a few more days and if it did not arrive she would cancel the check issue another. By Monday the following week (September 8th) I had not received the check so I called and left her a voicemail. She did not respond so I called again on Wednesday the 10th of September and she said she would mail the check but went on to say that she really shouldn't since the problem was fixed. I reminded her that I fixed the problem and that she had offered to provide a refund and had stated it had already been mailed once. As of September 23rd I still had not received the check. So I called her back and spoke to Angelica and she said after discussing this with her co-owner that it was decided that they would not be refunding the money because they did the work. She went on to say that all the material must have gotten into the dishwasher after their first service call. Since we only ran it once to confirm that it did not work I find that doubtful. Also, the pictures clearly show calcification on all the screws. Had they removed the screws this would not have existed. I was troubled by the fact that the service technician, after missing the appointment to look at the dishwasher, decided that it must be the motor "because it was making noise". So, I elected to take the refund. The next day I asked my wife if he had removed the accumulator from the bottom of the dishwasher ( I pointed at the part I was asking about) and ensured the chopper assembly or something common like that was not the issue during his assessment to determine that the issue must be the motor. She said she did not believe he did. So, I went and got some tools, researched the proper way to check the pump and chopper and began taking it apart. When I removed the top rack I noticed that one row of ball bearings was missing from the right side. Also, when I removed upper wash and rinse tube it had dried calcium behind it and around the screw heads and detents that would have to be manipulated to remove the accumulator. In other words, it was obvious we did not remove it. When I removed the protector to see if the chopper assembly was clogged or the plastic nut on it where it attached to the motor was stripped I noticed the protector was almost completely clogged with the ball bearing and plastic pieces from the ball bearing slide from the upper tray arm. I removed all the plastic pieces, cleaned the accumulator, reassembled the dishwasher, and ran a load of dishes and it cleaned the dishes just like it was supposed to. I did not even need to replace the chopper assembly, just clean the screen and remove all the debris from the protector assembly. I am troubled by the choices All American Appliance made with regards to my repair and I see two major issues. First, the technician did not do a complete assessment of the situation when he first arrived to service the dishwasher. Second, when he missed the appointment the solution proposed was to spend an additional $200 on a motor that he had improperly diagnosed as being the issue. Lastly, they claimed they would provide a refund and never did BBB Complaint filed. read more

We filed a warranty claim with GE for a microwave. They made an appointment through these people and sent an email verification. The verification said they would call the day before to confirm. They didn't call. It said they would call before coming over. They did not call. In fact they never arrived for the scheduled appointment. I called a few days later and got voicemail, left a message and never got a call back. A couple days later called 3 times and left messages and never got a call back. Went by a googled address and it was empty. The address for the business on yelp is the local UPS store. Avoid these folks at any cost, although I don't think that will be to difficult. read more

I received the worst customer service I have ever received for anything. This was a warranty repair for my GE oven/range purchased in February oi of 2015. GE sent them. The technician showed up and determined that I needed parts for my oven which had never worked correctly from the start. He told me it would be a week. Two weeks later I called their office and was told that my parts had just come in that very moment. They scheduled me for the following Tuesday. They did not show up, apparently the technician's wife had a baby. Okay so the rescheduled me for Thursday. The technician showed up and installed the parts. Once he left I went to clean up the mess he made of the stainless steel face plate and found it to me very scratched up. I immediately called the office and was told that they would order a new face plate. That was on the 9/17/2015. I called 9/28/15 to find out when they were coming out to install the face plate. They told me that they were very busy with more important repairs and mine was just cosmetic. They also told me they were doing this as a courtesy! I said what do you mean courtesy, your technician scratched the face plate. The woman was extremely rude and told me that she wasn't there to see it and appliances come scratched from the factory all the time! Really - that is why it is protected with blue plastic to prevent scratching. I did complain to GE. I will refuse to use them ever again! read more

I was really apprehensive when Home Depot assigned this service for my LG dryer repair. My concern grew when, like others, I called and left messages, but did not receive a return call. On my third call, I got through to a lady who was pleasant and who gave me a 12-3PM time slot for the day HD's warranty CSR had originally confirmed for me. Based on previous reviews, I half expected the technician to be a "no show." He showed up at 2PM, however, and went right to work on the dryer. By 2:45 he had the problem fixed (flow sense indicator) and was on his way. The dryer is working fine once more and I'm closing the loop with this review. A tip for others: Keep trying to get through. This is apparently a small, family-run operation and they don't seem to return calls (at least in my case). read more

Closed! Thankfully AAA is closed, empty offices. But it seems Triple A Appliance Service may be connected. It also seems TAAS is not on Yelp, not part of the BBB. I will personally be researching more. If you called TAAS and spoke with Angelica then buyer beware that was/is AAA, and recommend do not do business. Poor service, damaged my custom made butcher block countertop and would not compensate. On top of it never fixed a simple Samsung microwave, in fact damaged it further, left parts off unit, did not put back together correctly, potentially exposing my house my family to electrical shock or worse. He did not even turn it on to check out the drainage problem I was telling him about. He said he didn't have the part charged me $65 and never heard from him again. I've been calling countless times and you simply can't get through they don't answer the phone. They gave me an appointment that day, diagnosed the problem, had the part on the truck, and fixed the machine! Great service. Highly recommended. MUCH better than Sears repair services. read more

I too had unreturned calls, 'disconnected calls', extremely unprofessional customer service (from the owner no less) and technician arriving consistently an hour+ after the scheduled 3 hours window-with no courtesy call, etc etc. The owner is rude and the customer service from the owner is the worst-ever. It would seem that Joe F. had an extraordinary experience....one not shared by us or most of the other reviewers. They offer the WORST customer service I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing. When the other reviewers say they do not return calls, they are absolutely correct. They are a family owned and operated business and believe you me.....they protect their own. The service rep. we had was the son of the owner. He made several representations to us that were anything but truthful. When we addressed it with the owner, he in essence called me a liar. He said his son didn't say that. Interesting since the owner was not there nor privvy to the conversation. My husband was so bothered by the man calling me a liar that he called him and got nowhere as well. My husband told him we were going to write this review and his comment was "go ahead"! These people think since they are the only certified Kitchenaid repair facility that they have a monopoly and will do whatever they please. The service rep was due between the hours of 3 and 6 and when he never arrived during that time frame, I called the company......they don't take calls after 6:00 and never returned my call. The service rep finally called us at 7:30 and said he was on his way and didn't know how to get there. I explained once again, where we were and he arrived at 8:00......2 hours after the 3 hour window in which we had sat at home waiting. He "diagnosed" the issue and told us the part could be ordered the next day (SATURDAY) and might even be in by Monday. We had travel plans for late Monday and asked if they would let us know if it was in. Monday came without a returned call. I left yet another message and then continued to call until someone actually answered the phone. I encountered a "snippy" young lady who told me she had gotten my messages but since her rep FINALLY arrived on Friday she didn't think she needed to return the call. She also told me they had ordered the part but despite the fact that the invoice showed they were to call with an estimate, she didn't think it necessary. She and her "father - who owns the company" called me a liar when I told them what the service rep had told us about ordering. Here is an important piece of advice: IF YOUR APPLIANCE IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY, you can order your own part, call another company to install it, which is what we did. I would NEVER use these people for anything. I actually told Kitchenaid of the issue and told them I would purchase another dishwasher before ever allowing that service rep back in the house. He made both my husband and I so uncomfortable with his odd behavior that we actually had someone stay at our home while we were out of town. In addition, the service rep. told me the cost would be approximately $180 to $220+ but that the office would give me an estimate (which never happened). I ordered the part today for $45!!! My only concern is that what I have ordered may not even be what we need. After reading the other reviews, it is likely that the diagnosis is not correct. read more

We rate our unfortunate experience with All-American Appliance in Cottonwood, Arizona as follows: Service Tech Peter: B+ Front office and ownership: F On July 24, 2015, we called in a problem with our refrigerator icemaker. Three days later, Peter came out, diagnosed the problem and said the needed parts would take one week. Peter was professional and polite. He said the front office would call us to schedule a second visit. Never received a call from them - we called every week leaving a message - no return calls. Finally, on August 24, 2015, we called again and were told the parts were in and that the tech would be out the next day. On August 25, Peter returned and replaced the parts. Checked the next day and no ice was made. Called it in and was told he would return on August 31. Peter showed up and said another part was needed that should take "just a few days." Again no word from the office. Called them on Sept. 14 and the part was in - Peter would return on Aug. 16. All this for a $75.00 service fee through a property owner's insurance policy. Once again, you get what you pay for. We waited a month to post this since the policy provides a thirty-day return when the job is completed without an additional service fee. Not that we would ever use All-American Appliance again!! We will discontinue our policy with American Home Shield - they use the least competent and cheapest providers available. Poor Customer Service I contacted GE two months ago to have a repair done on my appliance and they scheduled an appointment with All American Appliance. The tech did not show up during the 4 hour time frame that was scheduled so I called them and was informed that they did not see the appointment and rescheduled for the following week. At that time the tech came out and diagnosed the problem telling me it would be about two weeks for the part to come in. After many calls to them and cancelled appointments from them we finally had a tech come out about 4 weeks later to replace the part. After the tech left I ran my dishwasher only to have water flood out under my kitchen cabinets. I called to inform them and had to leave a message because nobody answered the phone. Four days later we still had not heard back so we called to talk to them and were told by them they had tried calling yet I had no missed calls and no voicemails from them...Finally the tech came out and found that a hose was broken by the tech that installed the original broken part was the cause of the leak. He said a part would be ordered and should arrive in about a week. Here we are 4 weeks later and I am still without a working dishwasher! read more

I called All American Appliance to repair my Maytag icemaker. They charge $50 for the house call and then will quote you a fixed price for the repair (and will credit you the $50) . The repairman showed up 20 minutes after I called and quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken water valve. The quote was $235 to fix it. He refused to break out the part cost and labor cost for me. I paid him the $50, then proceeded to get three other quotes all for under $130 - $60 part and $70 labor. The three other companies said All American was notorious for being extremely high. Also, they advertise offices in Sedona and Verte Valley, but only really have the one office in Flagstaff. read more

All American Appliance was sent by Home Depot Protection plan to repair an oven (damaged circuit board resulting in inoperable oven light). Technician responded promptly arrived and discovered problem. The company ordered replacement parts and after 6-8 weeks later, the company called to schedule installation. Technicians arrived and seem to be in a hurry to complete repairs; however, after installing repair parts (new circuit board and light socket), the technician powered up unit and a poof, the circuit board was damaged again. Technician discovered a damaged connection and replaced it but stated that they had to order a new circuit board. After reassembling the oven, (note: poorly because insulation was exposed, fasteners not install, and stainless steel face plate scratch because they laid it on the oven top burner plate), I called the company to discuss repairs and damaged. They apologized for damage to SS faceplate and stated they would call me on Monday to provide status of new repair parts and schedule another service appointment. It is now Saturday and no contact received from company; however, Home Depot Protection plan call today and informed us that the repairs have been reported as complete and they will send a survey soon. Something seems off with this sequence of events. read more

This is the company I was told to use by Whirpool/Maytag when my dishwasher needed servicing under warranty. They are very slow to return calls, do not follow the time line they give you. I was told the part would take 2 weeks to order...I never heard from them at 2 weeks so I called and asked about it and it ended up taking closer to 5 weeks before someone came out. This happened twice as they have already been out to my house 3 times and the dishwasher is still broken! They put in one part (control board) and that didn't do the trick so one month later, they came back and replaced the control panel (which was the part they told me they were replacing initially) and now it's leaking so they need to come out again. Was told they could come Friday (by whirpool) and that I'd hear from them but never did, so here it is Monday and I just tried calling to schedule something. They take a lot of follow up, don't service the problem properly the first time and don't get your appliance working. Very frustrating! read more

Me and my boyfriend had just purchased a home in flagstaff az. we bought a home warranty and it is through First American Home. our washer broke some change got stuck in the drain pump so we called the warranty company they then recommended All-American Appliance to us so we waited for the phone call from them to make the appointment to get our washer fixed. They charged us 60.00 due to our coverage from our home warranty. All-American Appliance finally called after 3 days to mske appointment said they would be out at 11 am on June 3rd to fix the problem with our washer. They didn't arrive till 2pm. When Peter the tech found out that the problem was the drain pump he tolled my boyfriend he had the part in his van he then came back and said that it wasn't in that van that it was in a different one another tech was using in cottonwood and that he would have it here in a week. We didn't hear anything from him or the company in a week so my boyfriend called they said that it was on back order that they would call in a week. Well its now going on a month they still haven't called to tell us what is going on. So I called today june 24th they proceeded to say that the part is in production and that the company won't be shipping the part to them till July 6th and then after that will be a few more days. We asked that we just get a refund of the 60.00 because we found the part online for 49.00 dollars. They told us that they couldn't do that. We have 4 kids and we live 15 miles out of town and it's impossible to go to a laundry mat with 4 kids. We are very displeased with their service. You would think a company that is recommended from a home warranty company would keep in contact, not lie about having the part and actually do the work that we are paying for in a timely matter not more then a month. First American Home was also displeasing in how they recommended this company that is over 80 miles away frm flagstaff and can't even do the job right.
