Dirty bed frame after mover put it on the ground. 1 person moving a queen bed that should have been carried by 2 people.
    Celia B.

Do not use this moving company! Bait and switch advertising. Added feed on at the end that weren't disclosed. Received a flier for $150 off, was told it would be honored. Movers confirmed notes in system indicated so at beginning of move. At the end the supervisor argued with me saying they couldn't use it. Also never was given pricing or was told there would be a charge for packing supplies and when I went over fees they had a charge of $40 on there. After driver called his supervisor to try and add the credit for the $150 they said the packing fees were now $60. They said they were looking for fees to try and give me credit for to try apply the $150. It was very stressful and I ended up getting charged more than I anticipated and not being given the full credit. Movers also didn't seem properly trained. Moved slow and didn't handle items with care. They were nice and polite, but to me this was a big issue as it seemed this is how they were trained to do things. I was honestly shocked. I have hired movers several times before and this was by far the most expensive, most careless and least trained crew I have worked with. I should have read the reviews prior to moving because me wanting to use the $150 discount deterred me from doing my own due diligence in actually looking into this place prior to me hiring them. Never would I recommend this place to anyone. Seems like this company is so big and no one really cares about customer service or reputation. They will tell you what you want to hear to get you in the door and then overcharge you and damage your things. Read the reviews! This is not a one off, this is typical behavior. Lesson learned!

Big gouge in the gutter ripping off the house.

This company is a JOKE. The worst experience I have ever heard of anyone possibly having with any kind of service company in the history of customer service, not just moving companies. If there was an option for ZERO stars, I would have done that. Right off the top I should have known. When they sent me the service contract, the "deliver to" address was completely wrong and doesn't even exist, but I went ahead and did the walk thru pictures and video as requested. Short there after, I got a call from a douchy bro representative that basically explain to me that I had rooms, and I quote, just "loaded with shit," and it was going to have to take four guys in a truck and a lot of work to get all of our stuff moved, and instead of being like $1,200 bucks it was going to be $2,400 bucks. I complained about that, and he proceeded to explain to me "That's just the way it is, you just got a lot of shit bro." If that was the worst part of this whole experience, OK, fine... but it wasn't. After hearing this "advice" from their team, we went out and purchased an extraordinary number of boxes, and spent an inordinate amount of time that week packing boxes, organizing things, stacking stuff into organized stacks, putting things in totes, and prepping everything for the movers to come, to save them time and effort, and not have to have them pack every little thing. We felt overly prepared and ready for a quick day of moving, but... When it came to the day of the move... THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP! I had to call to get them to realize this was the case, and when I did, they said they could see where I was in the system, but somehow when they had fixed the delivery address and requoted it, the job had gotten CANCELLED instead of approved their scheduling system. You're kidding right? They then tried to scramble to get us on the books, and offered to be there the next day, or later that afternoon to get everything moved, promising to get the job done, and then deliver to the new house the following AM, which I agreed to. Their Team finally arrived at 1:30 p.m., at which time I advised them that it would probably be easiest to back the truck in the driveway. Two of the team members went to move the truck (or so I thought was what was happening), while the other two followed me inside the home. I showed them what needed to be moved, I advised them to just focus on the big stuff, we really just want the furniture out of here and all of the stuff that's already in boxes. Don't worry about the ones and twos and the little stuff. I don't need you guys to help me pack, or or do anything like that. Just move the big stuff. After about 10 minutes of showing then around, my fiancé, Christina, advised me that she had run out and stopped the truck driver from driving further into and through the gutter on the side of our house, and possibly ripping the communication lines off the side of the house from the power pole. When she caught his attention, he had already mashed into the gutter, broken the down spout off, and put a big gouge in the side of the gutter. Pictures are attached. He did NOT have a second team member, or anyone else ground-guiding him into the driveway to help mitigate an accident like this from happening. The other team member had for some reason come into the house with the rest of us. I was inside the house at the time and did not know this was going on, I thought they were getting busy with the job at hand. However, shortly thereafter, I realized that the other two team members had not only left the house, but gotten in the truck, and ALL 4 OF THEM DROVE OFF TOGETHER. They then called their manager and said the house is not organized enough, there's too much stuff for us to move this afternoon, and we need way more packing materials to be able to get the job done, and we just can't do it this afternoon... This is a load of trash, an excuse, and running away from the problem instead of dealing with it like an adult. At that time, I had two other people at my home that used to work in the moving industry that said "no this is easy, they should have been able to knock this out in a couple of hours, especially with 4 dudes! Everything's in totes and boxes, stacked up nicely, there's not that many pieces of furniture, I don't see the problem." At no point during their visit to my home, did any one of the four gentlemen here say anything about "We have a problem with this, we need to leave and come back," Or really say a single word to me about what was going on, or how they felt about anything. This series of events, our total experience with All My Sons Moving was... inexplicitly bad. From getting the delivery address wrong on the paperwork up front, to running out of the house and speeding off without a word, after hitting my gutter... this whole experience was just... exceedingly disappointing and unprofessional. Needless to say, we figured out a better way to get our valuables moved. FIND A BETTER WAY!

    Lolita C.

We hired Bryan and Lorenzo to unpack our U-Haul moving van. They showed up right on time, worked efficiently, and moved things carefully to protect furniture and valuables. They helped move furniture to the right locations and then rearranged the furniture when we changed our minds about room layout. Very polite crew. Highly recommend! For planning purposes, know that it took a team of 2 two hours to unload this U-Haul van. Also took 2 hours to load it with a different company on the other end of the trip.

75" TV busted during the move.
    Adam M.

I asked them to replace my relatively new 75" TV when I WATCHED THEM knock it over, after moving it into my apartment, to which they offered me $180. I have emailed and called multiple times dealing with terrible customer service. I filed an official claim against them today, so I'll add another post about the outcome and hopefully EVERYONE can sue them and get the money they deserve from this terrible, criminal company.

This is what they were supposed to help me move but didn't. After I paid $500.

This morning, I called around in need for some movers to come move two rooms of boxes for me. It is urgent because I have already moved out and the new people need to move in. They charged my card upfront $513 (give or take a few dollars). The two movers arrived. I explained what needed moving. They filled the van but stopped short of filling the truck bed. Not knowing there was still space in the bed, I asked them to please wait while my fiance went to move the stuff out of the van into storage. For the last hour I have been moving stuff into the truck bed myself while they just sat in their own truck getting paid to sit there. Then...they just randomly left. I mean, they took off, leaving me with two rooms of valuables I now have to part with. This is, I'm sorry, the laziest "work" I have ever seen. Them leaving is the clincher. They were supposed to be here until the job was done. But instead, I'm out $500+ not to mention thousands of dollars worth of belongings. I have no words. I feel like I literally have been scammed and I think I have.

Looks like legal proof to me. I have ALL receipts.

Another day of being ignored by this rogue, out of control company. The first 'manager' I reported these crimes to clearly did not care, and refused to question the two thieves and see if they were wearing my rings and watches. He laughed and said it was a waste of his valuable time. On my 2nd call requesting a legible claim form, he implied that I was padding my losses. Denied responsability for anything. After being ignored for 60 days and supplying my 'adjuster' with more than enough proof, including an eye witness whom he talked to, my claim was denied with a form letter. He alleges that 'I did not prove my case,' and it is my word, as a crippled 73 year old, and that of my 72 year old disabled wife, against 2 employees word. NO ONE ELSE COULD HAVE DONE IT!

I was able to message with someone online to coordinate details and even adjust our move as plans shifted, which made the whole process much less stressful. On moving day, our crew was incredible. Andy, Miraj, Muha, Tatty, and Aibar were kind, efficient, and thoughtful throughout the entire day. They worked hard, stayed positive, and handled everything with care. You could tell they were experienced and really took pride in doing a good job. Moving can be chaotic, but this team made it feel organized and smooth. Well worth the cost we had a ton to move. Two Asian dudes showed up, barely spoke to me, one would only speak his own language while the other would then speak to me in English. They rudely took pics of my apartment, then went and sat back in their truck. After about 20 minutes, the guys came out and said they couldn't do the move because it was "unsafe". Prior to that it was because I had too many small items, and in between that I was told it was because I asked for 3 hours and they'd need 7-9 hours. I called dispatch again and told Karina she sent me two racist movers. She claimed that couldn't be. I explained my stance and she said she'd call me back. Meanwhile, I have no way to move my stuff. Karina said she would talk with her moving team and call me back. Guess what? She never did. I guess you get great service when you have the right skin color. Move your stuff yourself and save the headache. The worst company ever and I don't see how Yelp recommends them. I'm disgusted.

Update: 50% refund…read more Yeah, don't go with these guys. i had specific instructions for my move both to the rep on the phone (xavier he's great) and to them directly. all were not really cared for properly. I should have just gotten my friends and a uhaul to move, but i was promised it would take 5hrs. i was billed 5.5hrs. tip top of the money i had left. and they didn't even have time to move everything. why? because their recklessness with my things i didn't want them carrying my computer monitors. they were hired to pack and move stuff across portland. they came at 1:30 when they said only to tell me that they didn't know they needed all the packing stuff. they eventually arrived nearly 2hrs later and towards the END Of the original window i was promised without any 'hey we will be there at this ETA' they said they got stuck behind a train, which is fine i guess? but no update after that until i called and complained, which got me a 5% discount, which is nice i guess? but like everything that happened after were MASSIVE red flags, both for the computer and the 'movers' which felt like contractors they just hired for whatever without properly vetting. i had a small move, 2 rooms. they were the slowest movers and most reckless movers i've ever hired. but i don't really blame them fully for that. supposedly they were working since 8am and just drove up from salem or something. they didn't even eat lunch. is that even legal?! no wonder they came to the door exhausted already and out of it. These 2 guys did the best they could, but honestly with how exhausted I was from helping them (something i SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO DO), they were doing a good job, but that doesn't really matter. In the end this guy ruined my $2000 custom built standing desk for music. not sure if i can get it repaired or fixed. he undid it and said he will put it back together. it was pretty easy just a few bolts into the joints between the wooden top and the legs and putting on the keyboard tray. easy stuff for the most part (when you have a drill, i don't own one). this guy didn't even look at where he was drilling or understand how the desk was put together after showing him specific things. he just drilled in the bolts and they hit a part that they're supposed to go into but was put in backwards making it impossible (on purpose) to get the screw in. this guy just kept drilling harder and harder and when i asked him about it he was like yeah it's supposed to sound like that. He either was so exhausted he couldn't think straight or just took on tasks he could have said 'yeah i don't know how to do that, can you do it?' either way now i have a broken desk that's only partially built and put together. i am really glad i moved all of my expensive stuff to my place with a friend last weekend, because they definitely would have broken a lot of very expensive things! I also gave them a mattress cover to put on the mattress, and they struggled doing that. You are movers wtf?! i zipped it up about half way and moved on. Then when we got to my new place they didn't even use it and put the mattress on the pavement to get a better angle or something. like what was the point in bringing it?! They also dropped a bunch of precious memories i had in a bin in a bin, they said they took them out because the outer bin couldn't close (bs). They were holding it open wrapped around their arm and i asked them to close it as it doesn't look secure and he said it would be fine, then immediately drops it with pictures and papers dropping on the ground and getting dirty. Anyway this all just happened. and there's no way I can live in my new place due to the lack of time they afforded to me to actually place things in the right spot. At least my bed is in the right spot. luckily for now i am in a short term rental because my last place had mold and why I am moving. i am highly allergic and being there as long as i did, both to wait for them to show up and how slowly they worked on loading the truck, I am feeling sick again because of it. The estimate was low balled to say the least because these guys move at a snails pace because this company overworks them and treats likely their staff like crap. these are probably more desperate people looking for an easy pay day. one guy was like 'i worked 4 days this month' and the other one worked 6 days in a row. a 12 hr day without a break outside of driving (which isn't a break) isn't really fair or legal? I paid nearly 1k for this move, and you can't afford to give these people a proper break between moves? I'm sure they weren't making nearly enough either. Lastly they pressured me to sign a thing at the end of the receipt that says everything was delivered intact, which i didn't sign. Anyway go with another company, not worth the risk. I didn't have another weekend to do this move as i need to have a livable space and that takes time as well. Anyway the movers were careless, slow, expensive, and ignored instructions.

All Service Moving did a great job. However, I was pushed…read moreinto signing a release of liability half way through. The rep said turning it sideways to get it thought the door was a special event somehow and that I would have to sign some papers. Seriously, I'm paying $700 to move a 350 pound object from the parking lot into my apartment. All Service Moving should bake the liability into the cost. If they drop it and I can't fix it, I'm willing to eat the $3k to buy a new one but they should at least agree to haul the old one away and move in the next one for free.

I had a king sized mattress and two box spring for them to junk. Over the phone, they did not tell me about the $19 fee for EACH to be junked, on top of the pricing, which started out at $99 for less than an eighth of a truck and then suddenly when they got here they told me it would be an eighth which would be $179. Plus the fees put me over what I was expecting. Then, they sent pics to the manager and the manager said it was more than a sixth so they charged me $200 something, overall my total was around $310. My stuff was already in the truck, very sneaky to do to people! Losing my best friend was hard enough, having to junk his mattress and then the price just keep going up was horrible. I would've tipped your guys more too if it wasn't for that huge price change. Then they had the audacity to ask to leave a sign for 10% off next time. Haha, no. I was completely honest and said if anything got broken I needed to know right away, That didn't happen. My husband's mission style table that was his grandfathers had its top completely taken off, and this was after they were told to not lift it by the top. Our inner door in house that closes laundry room off from rest of house was taken off to bring items in and not put back on. A two tier metal shoe stand somehow lost one of its feet and one of our cubby thins (1 wide and 4 tall) was damaged and is now wobbly. I care less about cubby and shoe rack, but the other two things should not have happened. Yes I emailed about damage and sent pictures but have received no response as of yet. Also if they remove something from bottom of your freezer (plastic skids we left on since purchasing--they should have been put back on or in my opinion don't set the dirty pieces on pristine clean washer)I thought it was a great move last time and knowing damaged items (three shelf bookcase mysteriously loses its whole back piece that is structural to not have it wobbling) is partially my fault but I was directing stuff to two places. This time my husband and myself were watching. I did spend almost 1400 and tipped some. It did save my back and knee. If you do use them, don't chose option of 60 cents a pound as payment for damages or lost items--have full written inventory of all your items, take pictures before it's loaded on truck, have multiple people at each location to direct. Definitely don't sign off until things are ok, I sent my husband out to see truck was empty and movers had him sign off on it, the move was under my name only, so I should have had to sign and now waiting to hear if they will fix the damage to table.
