He came to our house months ago to look at our stove, and discovered it need a circuit board replaced. We decided to go through our house insurance, so we needed a quote to get the claim processed. We thought, we would ask Scott's Appliance since he did the original work. We asked him to come by and give us a quote; he gave a time and date and we confirmed. I took time off work to meet him, the time came and passed; he did not show. We called him and he just casually said he forgot? No sorry, no apology...? So he said he would email us a quote, so we accepted that method. He sent it over the next day without the proper insurance information, hours of labor or company letterhead. We asked for the hours, he sent them separately in another email. We texted back, we need it done properly on a full quote all together. His reply "Are you serious?" We commented back on his unprofessional comment, and he then came back with "I don't need customers like you." That is fine, we would not have you fix anything of ours again anyway! During my interactions with Saeid, I shared videos of my washing machine acting up, and he was able to help me trouble shoot what was going on without even setting foot in front of the machine. When I asked him what I owed him for his time - because we spent over 2 hours back and forth on text with him reviewing videos, and making suggestions to try with my washing machine - he indicated that he was happy just to help out. Wow! There are not many businesses in this city who are simply ok to "help out" without compensation of some sort!
