I responded that I wanted to know if he could come out sometime during the week to fix my crack and he responded that he was able to be out to me soon after. He set some great expectations before working on my windshield and I trusted him. He went to work I went back to work and he texted me to let me know the job was done shortly after. My poor car got hit by a big rock on the freeway, leaving a nice crack in the windshield. Fast forward, I find out that most car windshield minor repairs (anything less than the size of a dollar bill) are covered if you have comprehensive car insurance. There is usually no deductible and it does not go against your insurance record (best to double check with your insurance to be safe). My insurance contracts with this company, they called me same day to arrange an appointment. This is a mobile service, so he will got to your home or work at a time of your convenience. Great communication, great service. He explained the process and even repaired some non-related dings he noticed on the windshield. I would definitely use him again, and he works with multiple insurances including: AAA, AIG, Allstate, Ameriprise, American Family Country, Encompass, Farm Bureau, Farmers, Fidelity, Geico, Kemper, Liberty Mutual, Metlife, Nationwide, Progressive, The Hartford, Titan, Travelers, USAA, 21st Century. We got a nasty chip on the way to Vegas for Hubby's birthday weekend last month. He didn't feel comfortable waiting until we got home to fix it so he found this place on Yelp. After checking prices I decided on ARC to come out and restore my headlights. I called to schedule and was told they could come out immediately...great...I woulda settled for the following week. Richard the owner came out and saw the veterans license plate on my car and immediately offered a discount to an already competitive price. The lower cost did not effect the quality of the job done. The job took longer than anticipated but at the end the finish was impeccable, and even though it took longer there was absolutely no mention of revising the price. Read the great reviews so I contacted him about getting a new windshield. Seemed fine at first, quick reply with a good quote. Had several communications back and forth and all seemed in order, so I booked a date (several days out) and planned my schedule around it. Then, at the last minute, Richard sends an email that we're all good but that ITS GOING TO BE A DIFFERENT COMPANY COMING TO DO THE WORK. Apparently he doesn't do windshield replacements (!!) but didn't think he should mention that previously. Too late for me to find someone else on such short notice (coincidence?) so I decide to take my chances on the unknown guy. At the appointed time, I wait for 1-1/2 hours and nobody ever shows. No call, no text, no contact. Never even replied to the email I sent later. A total waste of my time. What a dud! 5 star reviews, huh? Not likely! read more
