This cold snap brought back the same problem with our system that we fought for a year (really) with our old HVAC maintenance company. They replaced and rebuilt dampers, checked and rewired systems and were out 8 times before they finally decided that the control board was the problem and replaced it. We switched to All Seasons recently due to the lack of progress from our old company (and the expense of it all) and as soon as the temperature dropped below freezing we had the same problem as before. Our new Tech came out, ran through diagnostics and suddenly things are working properly. He found that the auxiliary heating system was incorrectly jumpered - he took care of that and everything is great! I wish we had All Seasons from the beginning but I know we will have them until the end now. read more

Well after 25 years our furnace finally gave up. All Season's came to do our maintenance and showed us the photo of our heat exchanger crack. Needless to say we weren't excited to replace our furnace at Christmas time but the thought of no heat was very convincing. They walked us through our options of which furnace to purchase and we made our decision. They did an awesome job from removing our old furnace and disposing of it to installation of a brand new furnace. Steve and Braedon his apprentice were so professional and friendly. Steve proceeded to spend some time showing us how to set and program our thermostat. We highly recommend All Seasons from Curt to Steve and Braedon. They have performed our maintenance very satisfactorily for several years. We were no less satisfied with the bid and installation of our new furnace. read more

Almost cost me $1,800 by recommending I replace my ductless heat pump when the actual problem was a $60 part. Luckily I got a second opinion who diagnosed it almost immediately. Maybe it was just one poorly trained technician (I'll just give a first name, Kevin) but he was out two separate days for several hours and couldn't find the issue despite spending most of the time on the phone with tech support. Clark County Mechanical is finishing the job today so I'll review them after, but so far they've been on point. read more

CAUTION! Their technician was scheduled to check our air conditioner unit. He insisted on checking our furnace. Not five minutes after beginning, excitedly said the furnace had to be replaced IMMEDIATELY! There was a big crack in the heat exchanger and carbon monoxide was blowing into the house! He would call the salesmen for us. The problem is, we had that furnace serviced earlier and the HVAC tech at that time specifically said the heat exchanger was fine... Out of an abundance of caution, we paid another HVAC company to check the heat exchanger specifically along with the rest of the heating system. After spending a great deal of time utilizing tools such as a fibre optic camera, the conclusion was that the heat exchanger was in very good condition, did not exhibit so much as a hairline crack, much less a gaping hole spewing carbon monoxide into our home. Our family was not in danger of dying in our sleep after all. And though he determined one motor was drawing slightly more current than normal, we certainly did not need to replace our furnace immediately, nor in the near future. Lesson? If All Seasons tries to sell you big ticket items, be sure to get an outside second opinion. The best lesson? I discovered another company with well equipped technicians, great communication skills, and most importantly, that is trustworthy. read more

Called these guys to troubleshoot my heat pump system. They came and tried to sell me a 10k System, they said mine couldn't be repaired. They charged me a service call charge to try to sell me a system. In the end the system was repaired for 1,400 dollars and the fix is working just fine. You may want to shop around. read more

My AC wasn't working so I called on Friday afternoon at 3:00 and spoke with the owner Pat about my problem. After consulting Honeywell we diagnosed that I had a bad thermostat. He hustled a new thermostat and was at my house by 4:30 to replace. Problem solved and our AC was back working! What a savior as we had a grad party the next day with temps around 80. Appreciate the quick response! Fast forward a few days and the AC stops working! Kevin comes over to diagnose and finds the problem is a blown fuse! No expensive part replacement so I'm thankful for the quick diagnosis and easy on the pocketbook repair. Thanks for the great service!! read more

We've done business with All Seasons for years and for the most part service has been good. Don't know if they have changed owners or not. This last time my wife phoned and made an appointment for service of out heat pump. I determined that the transformer that powers the controls had gone out. I didn't know what caused it to die. An appointment was scheduled for the next week. The day before the scheduled repairs, we phoned to find out what time they would be there. They could not find the appointment, so they set up a service call for a couple of days later. The service man came out and replaced the transformer, don't recall if he tested the transformer or not. I looked at the old transformer after he left and saw that the fuse in it that had blown. He could have just replaced the fuse. He did put a fuse in the output line of the new transformer. I turned the power on after the transformer had been replaced and the blower started running. That confirmed the old transformer had died. When the outside unit was turned on, the fuse on the transformer blew, so something in the outside unit was the problem. The service man replaced a control block on the outside unit and everything seems to work. The outside unit was under warranty (parts only) so there was no charge for the control block. I figured he was going to check the refrigerant level, but he didn't. That may have got overlooked when they blotched the original appointment. The shock was the bill for this work. The service man was here for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The bill was $400. I can buy the transformer for $15, they should be able to get it for less. Not many places that charge $300 an hour. In the future we will have someone else do any heat pump work. After we did not get an invoice, we called. I was curious as to why the big bill. They said since we paid by credit card, they did not send an invoice, but they would send one. Then we found out they charged the wrong sales tax rate. I did verify with the Department of Revenue that they should have charged the county rate (7.7%) and not city of Vancouver rate (8.4%). They sent a refund for the overcharge of the tax. read more

This review is way overdue, because I'm a recent Yelp user. This incident occurred mid March 2014. Called this company because the furnace fan wouldn't shut off automatically after the heating cycle. Tech came out a determined that it was a faulty circuit board. He came back with another one, and was unable to properly connect it, rendering the furnace inoperable. Owner of the company came out, and he decided that it would be best to let the tech finish up, and in fact, both he and the tech would come out first thing the next morning, but while he was there, he thought it wise to check the condition of the heat exchangers. You'll never guess -- the heat exchangers were cracked, and it was allowing carbon monoxide into our house. But wait! He'd be able to sell me and install a new furnace! I'm not a HVAC trained person, but what he was telling me, just didn't ring true. I decided to get a second opinion, this time by a tech who didn't sell them, just repaired them. As I suspected, the heat exchangers were fine, and by virtue of the fact that the same furnace is still here, and haven't gassed myself would seem proof that the owner has trouble with both diagnosis and the truth. The 2nd tech repaired the damage to the board that the first tech caused, and fixed the initial problem for less money than I paid for the first tech to damage the board.. read more

We had schedule with them to have new A/C today, they toll us they will be here in the morning at 8:00-8:30. We empty the walking closet and make room in the garage for them,time when and no one come. 9:00 am we call them and after waiting 15 minutes we where told that they mes up and they apologize but they could not do this today like we was told,we said can we talk to the owner Pat,the lady said yes he will be here at 10 am and he will call,but to make sure she told us to leave message in his voice mail so he can call as soon as he come in the office.We did that,now is 9:30 pm and no one call. My AC went out at the hottest time of the summer. Called one place and they couldn't get me in until 6 weeks out. Called All Seasons and they had someone out in 2 days, right before it gets to be 96* again. The tech was very professional and provided honest feedback on our older unit. 30 minutes later he had it running perfectly again. I felt their prices were fair and very reasonable. What a great local company!! My furnace blower went out in the midst of the cold this week. My maintenance people could not help me for 3 days. I made numerous calls to other companies and no luck. THEN I called ALL SEASONS HEATING AND COOLING! They came the same day and were able to set me up with a new motor and heat. The new motor was a bit noisy and the owner said he would be back with a quieter motor at no extra charge. He returned a day later and installed the new motor and YES it is very quiet and I am toasty. I am so grateful to ALL SEASONS for coming to my rescue and for their knowledgable and efficient service. A few months ago my old furnace quit working and I called all seasons. The repair man came out the next morning and he told me I needed a new furnace after 22 years. Didn't surprise me, so then Joe came out and explained all the furnaces that were available, and I picked out the one I wanted and about a week later his crew came and took out the old one(in attic) and put new gas furnace up there. 6 hours and I had heat! The crew was careful, polite and fast! I love my furnace and happy I picked All Seasons here in Vancouver! read more

I had just replaced my a/c with All Seasons. It wasn't working. We were pretty frustrated that our brand new air conditioner wasn't cooling very well. It would be on and then click off. I called our a/c company and spoke with Joe again. Really great guy who had sold me the unit to begin with. He examined it and let me know that the breaker switch that wasn't working. He said we should call an electrician. Soooo I called West Coast Electric. Craig at WCE had me take pictures of all the parts to be sure he understood my situation. He was really patient with me because I am unfamiliar with the terms. And we have an old house so the places things are is still rather a mystery. Anyway I finally found the tag with the info he needed. He told me that my a/c company should really take care of this because after it was installed they should have checked to see if it was working with the electical system. Sooooo I called All Seasons back. I left a long detailed message for Joe half apologizing for bothering him again. I felt bad because I kept thinking I wasn't operating it correctly. I told them that the day the unit was installed was really hot, the unit was really heavy and I really do understand that they were in a hurry to get the heck outta here. I do get it BUT We were still in a hot house. Joe was awesome! He came out again and switched out my breaker and now we are golden! I am expecting a bill for the breaker but that will be a lot less than a breaker plus labor I would have paid. We are now perfectly comfortable! This happy ending was because of All Seasons installed great a/c unit and Joe was so willing to keep working with me and West Coast Electric for being honest and patient encouraging me to ask for the customer service I needed. Neither of these guys bad mouthed the other at all. Those companies and I are still friends. I am pretty cynical about companies and the poor work ethic that I have seen so often in the past. We had them replace our heater. At the time the model we bought was based on the sales persons advice that we would be able to add a cooling unit to the bottom of this particular model. When we called to order the cooling portion, the person who took the call was rude and stated "our model would NEVER be able to have a cooling unit added." Not sure what's going on at this company, but I wouldn't suggest taking the gamble on what your going to get. read more
