There are some competent practitioners here and I often go for good foot or back massages at a reasonable price (whether walk in or appointment). I find the modality of massage they do very rejuvenating. It's clean and comfortable, but not fancy. The one main drawback is that it is a small place, open plan, and noise travels easily. The reception is right by the foot massage chairs and the staff talking to each other or on answering the phone for customers can be extremely loud, with little regard for customers just inches away trying to relax. read more

Just frivolous touching with one hand for minutes. Bit creepy. Then, he touched my back in very painful ways. I'm not saying it was too deep, I appreciate deep. It was just the wrong places. He was not getting the muscle. It was embarrassing how off it was. The whole time, he was breathing deeply on me. He and others should have a mask. Just discovered All Seasons and I'm a fan! This is a no frills massage spa, but the facilities seemed clean, the staff was courteous, and the massage was superb. You will definitely be able to hear the masseuses talk to each other you're separated from other patrons by a thin curtain but I think this place delivers what it promises- high quality massages at a very reasonable price. My 45-min whole body massage was only $53! They seem popular enough that I'm glad they're receiving the love but not so popular that I couldn't get a 45-min massage as a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon. As a loyal customer since they opened, it's gone down hill. It's a good place for a quick massage but not meant for relaxing. Management/ Ownership are not helpful & I went to them regarding all of this prior to posting review and none of the issues were addressed. Last few times I went, the receptionist was speaking loudly, fighting with another employee & I could hear all the employees on break, one watching a video from their phone. If you become a VIP member, and pay $600 up front, they will offer you discount cards but you cannot use them when the $600 runs out & they do not list or tell you there is an expiration date. They also do not tell you when the $600 runs out, you are no longer a VIP member, Even though when they sell the membership it is for one year. In reference to the discount cards, It doesn't make sense since the VIP membership is and automatic 10% discount and the cards are a one time use 10% discount, but you can't combine them, yet cannot use them if you aren't a member. You get what you paid for. I would have given this a five star for the bang-for-your-buck but took one off for the complete language barrier. My masseuse didn't know what "lighter" meant, or "right there" or "can you do what you were doing before" or "pinched nerve". As much as I remained cool, the language barrier stresses me out. Management suggestion: please note on your website you only accept "cash only". Please train, test & ensure your staff are knowledgeable of the basic English words needed to communicate for the massage therapy business. The woman who gave me my 30-mins back massage applied a lot of pressure to my sore spots, but it was more forceful than I could've managed. The time flew and I was grateful! The lady at the front desk came over and immediately pushed the button to extend the recliner for me without even asking if I wanted it. The space is super clean and spacious and I was feeling really tense so very much looking forward to treating myself to an hour massage. The masseuse sped through, with her elbow- it felt really rough and rushed and sloppy, like she was pushing on my spine and hitting nerves but not actually spending any time on the knots that I did have. It wasn't a pressure issue but more of actually paying attention to her action and my body's response. I clenched my muscles and she would dig harder. I had asked her to use her hands so she could better control her movement and pressure- bone, muscle etc. It didn't feel relaxing or invigorating just, unconsidered. And then the buzzer rang and she hadn't done my arms, hands, legs or feet. I understand this is a specific masseuse and not necessarily representative of everyone there and I feel very privileged to even be critiquing a massage but it just was not what I needed and I'm really bummed about it. read more

I liked this place a lot! They were able to accommodate us for a couple's massage on short notice, same day. Even able to get a female masseuse for me. They were super respectful of their speaking volume in the whole place so the atmosphere stays relaxing. Very polite. Great massage with attention to spots that needed work, and even a few new moves that I had not experienced from a masseuse before. Hot stones and towels were awesome, of course. My boyfriend and I both felt really loose and a tiny bit sore the next day, in that good way you feel sore after a deep massage that worked some stuff out. I am always a little sore after the most effective massages I've had so that's fine for me. However, this was probably my most distracted and least satisfying massage in NYC. There was a TV in the communal space, which to most probably wouldn't bother many. But then in the communal space, the people you sit next to are most likely on their phone as well. So much technology in a massage space seems counterintuitive. In addition, I found myself and the person I was sitting next to asking for more pressure, twice. Not sure if it's because BK Heights is predominantly very white, and not used to tui-na pressure, but it seems like our masseuses didn't understand or it was b/c the masseuses were tired (it was 4p on a Saturday). But then that goes back to management, they should space out their workers avoid this. I don't see myself going back. I would rather spend the time to go to Queens or Chinatown to ensure I get a better quality and less distracting massage. read more

Let me just start off by saying that I've always been a bit leery of Chinese-style massages, because they're very painful, and don't always work. Also, some places in Chinatown look dodgy as anything. But this place completely blew me away. The inside of the place is calm with soothing music. The people were extremely polite and helpful, and it was very clean. My masseuse was very friendly, and we shared a bit of a laugh over me tensing up because of the pain (and because I was ticklish). Yes, it was quite a painful process to get all the knots out of my muscles, but it feels so good afterwards. No pain at all. Seriously. I will definitely be coming back to this place. I have gone here a few times and is so hit or miss. Went today and told them when I called for the appointment just neck, back, and shoulders. Reiterated again when I got there. Told the therapist and she didn't speak English. Got the front desk person and told him. Thought he conveyed this to her but guess not. She did whole body. When I asked to not do my legs she didn't understand and I had an injury on my leg. It was quite frustrating communicating this three times and did not get what I wanted.
