When I tried to get a quote from All Star, Kiki did a great job. Kiki responded quickly through the whole process. On the day of moving, I got a call saying the mover will be late. Advanced notice is good but if they can show up on time will be better. The movers carefully moved all the stuff but they did not secure all the stuff in the truck. Some stuff was dropped when we arrived the destination. Not serious damaged but I would suggest they to improve this part. read more

If I could give 10 stars...I totally would! A friend recommended All Star Movers to me, and I am so glad I went with them! Moving from Sacramento to Orange County and I'm glad I hired them because Bill the owner made the process super smooth and easy and was definitely worth hiring them verses trying to take it all ourselves with a Uhaul (it's not worth the truck rent, gas, time, and headache to try to do it ourselves). Bill worked with our schedule and was very nice and easy to work with. They communicated very well and made the process easy. The move was a big change for us and the Mario who came on site was nice and said he has been there a lot and it's so beautiful there and told us we will love it there...which was a comfort for my son to hear since this was a big move for us. All Star Movers moved our family to a new home last week. It was planned and executed close to perfection. In general, we are very happy with this company and will happily recommend it to our friends. Long story: We submitted the info on the web site and were provided the estimate the next day. I was able to do everything via web site, but still called the company to verify our reservation is good, given Covid and upcoming Xmas. Communicated with Bill, he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. After that we made the, reservation for Dec 22, 9am. The day before I wanted to call in and verify, but checked my email and saw the confirmation before I called - nice! The team arrived in a big truck, there were 4 people - Andrew, the team lead, and 3 younger guys. All of teem were nice and pleasant, worked fast and professionally. They did initial review of contents and then divided the work between themselves. They brought multiple packing materials for furniture, so all of it arrived in perfect condition. We have multiple furniture items which required disassembly, they did it very carefully and then re-assembled them at destination. They carried heavy stuff with lots of precision, so nothing was broken or damaged, in either house. We got the keys to a new house several days earlier and it is 15 min away from the old one, so we were able to move some boxes and clothes before, but it still required lot of time to move everything out and then bring all in and reassembly as needed. The second part was about half time from the first part. And again, they worked fast, but carefully, no damage to the furniture or new house. The team came well prepared, used different tools and techniques, worked well individually and as a team for larger items. It was a huge difference from other moving companies we used before. Andrew calculated the final price, which was even lower than the estimate (for example the did not charge us TV box fee, as they were able to use our original box). Fantastic team, very reasonable prices and great communication. Easily 5 stars. read more

Had them move a 300lb massage chair from Dublin to two story house in Danville. Was a little worried about getting the chair through a bedroom door but the movers showed great poise and thought through the best way to get the job done. The movers were professional and courteous. These guys are real troopers. There were multiple businesses we were looking at to move into a new place, we chose them because their prices were reasonable, their customer service and owner were easy to communicate with, and their business page was straightforward, rather than convoluted like other moving companies. The day of the move (May 31st of this year) was a long one but these guys kicked butt. We had a lot of property to move, so the initial move-out was pretty long but they kept going and didn't take breaks. I made sure to go get them some energy drinks, they were working hard and I was happy to oblige. The move-in itself was another chore on top of all they had done that day, but they kept at it without hesitation. I made sure to get them more drinks and food too, it was a long day and they were getting pretty tired, they definitely deserved it because we had a lot to move and our new place was up two and a half flights of stairs. Anyway these guys are hard workers and they don't quit, I gave them $100 each as a tip because they more than earned it. Would highly recommend, and if I move I would hire them again. read more

We called All Star and they had a manager out in an hour to inventory our goods and guarantee our pack and load date as well as delivery in another state. They gave us a very reasonable price and also helped arrange a mover for shipping a car. Their staff were competent and hard working. Kikki was exceptional in arranging the move and helping with car shipping. Harp was equally accommodating in supervising the packing loading and unloading of our goods. read more

I had such a bad experience with my last long distance movers that I was really dreading this move. However All Star Movers & Storage restored my faith! Great experience; they got in, worked hard and got the job done with really no incident. My husband had to stay behind so I was with 2 kids by myself in our new place, when they arrived they got right to work. They were really good about checking in and making sure they put stuff in the right place to ensure I didn't have to move things after. They were also just nice people! The two guys that were regulars with the company and had been with them for awhile were amazing and knew what they're doing! The only negative would be they had two additional contracted guys, not working quite as hard, doing less work as the others, so it seemed like the two regulars were constantly picking up the slack. Most movers try and up charge but these are worst than most. Do not recommend. Hired these guys to move my things from apartment to POD. I had most of my things packed and had a ton of tape and supplies leftover. They still used their own stuff so they could charge more. At any rate, they barely had to use any of their things because again my stuff was all wrapped up and ready to go the night before. I had some things in storage and since they had taken only two hours with the stuff in apartment I asked if they could use the last hour to help me with those. They tried to get more money out of me because the storage stuff was not in the list. Even though they charge by the hour. I said ok never-mind and sent them home. They spent two hours moving but charged for 3 which is standard for the industry. When it came for payment they charged $505 when it was supposed to be $135/hour plus $25 gas charge ($430). Gave them $540 for tips. I asked for receipt he said he would email it. Then after I emailed their office asking for a receipt he came back to drop off a receipt with no itemization. Left their drinks and bundles of tape all over my apartment and left apartment door opened while I organized the POD. Perhaps you would get better tips if you weren't trying to scam your clients. I usually tip over $100 per person. read more

Today, I had All Star movers team come by to move stuff from my home. Andre' and his team - Manuel, Scotty & Jerrod were spot on at the scheduled time. They made sure first driveways, home are covered up and then started packing. Super clean and safe with glass and furniture items. Then, when unpacking - they took care of everything at almost care. It was flawless and they were an hour ahead of the estimated time. Andre' was excellent in rallying everything and keep some fun going with his team. Manuel was very meticulous and super careful. Scotty and Jerrod had their role. All of them were restless until everything is done and setup...no break was taken. If there is another move (well...)...will definitely hire All Star and hope I get this team. Great job guys!! read more
