Tech went as scheduled and told me he did a quick check at the unit and then to the electrical panel. And said now if he needs to go into diagnosis, it will cost $175 , and either he can fix it OR that $175 will be used to swap a new unit at $4xx. Since I'm remote, I can only agree to it to move forward. 10mins later, got a call from the tech saying, "there are good and bad news! Good news, the unit was indeed completely fine and it's working alright. The unit was slightly "UNPLUGGED" from the outlet and it works perfectly after I plugged it back in. Bad news, the $175 is due. " I appreciate that the "diagnosis" save me hundreds instead of replacing a fully working unit, but I would have thought the first free initial check should have looked at the connection in the first place. Definitely feel a bit rip off BUT they did give me a small discount in the end. I'm not expecting free work BUT $150 to get someone out to plug it back in? Is that the norm?

Chris and Joe were my techs and gave me excellent service, great feedback and advice to make my lines better for the future and were just good guys. We had to sump dump the fluids first, then the line opening showed up and we snaked from the line to the street and the line to house. They did it twice in both directions to give me that peace of mind. I don't know plumbing and they did show me a picture of what how my connection was configured. I wish I would of asked for that picture. Please send if you see this. I want to make that correction in the future and extend my cleanout about 6 inches in height. Please give me a quote for that service?

Miguel and his crew came by this morning as we had a bad smell coming from our 2020 remodeled bathroom and kitchen area. Wasting no time at all, his guy went into the crawl space and identified the leak. Fixed it within an hour and gave me DIY information on how to get rid of the smell and flush out the bacteria from the sitting drain water under the house. I really appreciate him trying to help me save money by recommending items I can buy on my own from Home Depot to remedy the situation. Any other plumber would offer additional expensive cleanup services to charge me more money, but not Miguel. Miguel is truly a stand up guy and an honest plumber! The control switch was not working properly and it appears to have something broken inside the switch. The second was the bathtub was dripping for months. Our property manager gave us some recommendation on handyman, and we reached out to a few others. Everyone of the handyman looked at the issues and said they couldn't do it. Javier from R&R was professional and friendly. He came, looked at the problems and gave us multiple options. We were told that our bathroom fixtures were on the older end, and replacement parts would be pretty slim. Javier said he would try his best to find ways to fix our problems, and if it can't be fix, then he would have to go with the full remove and replace option. Needless to say, the cheaper option would be less than half the price of the worst case scenario. We were presented with the cheaper options to be less than $1000, while the worst case scenario would be in the mid $2000 with our drywall cut open in order to do the fixture replacement. We would also had to then deal with redoing the drywall since that is not part of the company's scope of work. Javier came back after we accepted the estimate and was able to fix everything faster than I thought. To my surprised, he was able to find the replacement parts and fix everything. My experience with Javier and R&R has been exceptional. I highly recommend R&R to anyone with plumbing issue like i had.

What happened next was even more concerning. The owner quoted us $6,500, but later one of the employees privately quoted us $8,500 for the same project. At that point, we had no idea what the actual price was supposed to be. The lack of consistency and transparency was alarming and made us question what was really going on. Despite accepting the owner's $6,500 quote and repeatedly asking them to begin the work, they continuously delayed the project with excuse after excuse. Days turned into weeks. We remained patient and cooperative, but our patience was rewarded with poor communication and constant delays. The final straw happened today. We called in the morning and received confirmation that they would arrive at 6:00 PM. We rearranged our schedule and waited. Then we waited some more. After an hour and a half, nobody showed up. No phone call. No text message. No explanation. Our calls were ignored, and our messages went unanswered. This company has now delayed our project for over two weeks and caused significant inconvenience. The issue is not just the pricing--it is the complete lack of professionalism, communication, accountability, and respect for customers' time. If a company cannot honor its commitments, communicate honestly, or even show up after confirming an appointment, it should not be treating customers this way. Please be extremely careful before hiring this company. Based on our experience, the service was disorganized, unreliable, and incredibly frustrating from start to finish.

I can't say enough good things about All-Star Plumbing! When our Roman tub handle completely broke off, I was worried we'd be dealing with a messy, expensive nightmare. I called them and they reached out the same day to schedule an appointment, which I really appreciated. Johnny Malcolm and Kyle DeAngelo arrived as scheduled and quickly diagnosed the problem - the handle was stripped out and the replacement parts weren't available. Instead of trying to patch it up temporarily, they gave us an honest assessment and recommended replacing the entire valve. The pricing was very reasonable for the scope of work involved, and they explained exactly what needed to be done and why. Everything was clearly outlined with no surprise costs. The team was incredibly professional throughout the entire process. They cut a precise access hole in the tub skirt, removed the old valve, installed a beautiful new Moen valve with chrome trim, and even installed a proper access panel so everything looked finished. They tested everything thoroughly and left no mess behind. What impressed me most was their transparency and craftsmanship. He also performed a hydro-jetting service on our main line to clear out all the debris. Giovanni was polite, professional, upfront with pricing, and worked incredibly efficiently. He does not just come to do a job, but genuinely cares about each of his customers. He tries to establish a relationship with his customers by making it feel like he is taking care of a family member. He suggested running the pipe above ground where it would be accessible. He rerouted the line and used materials that saved me money. Instead of taking several days, it was done by lunch. Luckily, I called Henley's Plumbing, and they managed to schedule a technician to arrive by 6:00 PM. Since it was late on a Saturday, I didn't expect much, but David and another team member arrived exactly on time. After diagnosing the issue, they had to remove the toilet and discovered that tree roots were causing the clog. Since the toilet was out, I decided to replace both toilets in my house. Despite the late hour, David and his partner went out to purchase the new toilets, cleared the root clog, and stayed until 10:00 PM to finish the entire installation. I was amazed by their willingness to stay so late on a weekend just to ensure my family had working toilets. To make things even better, David promised to return on Monday with a camera to inspect the pipes for cracks. True to his word, David showed up on Monday with two other team members. Fortunately, there were no cracks, but to my absolute surprise, they did not charge me for this follow-up camera service!
