They provided clear documentation outlining exactly what materials they would use -- from pipes and fittings to angle stops -- which gave us confidence in what we were getting. Alex and Karla were both especially helpful throughout the process. They made us feel like we had a whole team ready to support us and answer any questions along the way! On installation day, a team of six showed up and completed the entire job in just one day. While repiping naturally creates a bit of dust, the crew did everything they could to minimize the mess and keep things as clean as possible. After the installation, there were a lot of drywall openings throughout the house. A few days later, the drywall and stucco team came in -- and I have to say, these guys were artists. The attention to detail, especially in matching our existing knockdown texture, was impressive. They worked quickly, efficiently, and with great care -- like ninjas. I was later told it would be on a slow boat from china and would arrive Tuesday. I'm wondering why in the middle of summer those wouldn't be in stock and on trucks. Now, I'm looking at Wednesday for install. I told them that we were currently watching our disabled granddaughter while our daughter was on vacation. Thus, not a great time to have multiple days (6) of no air conditioning especially with over 100 degree days. That didn't seem to make them try any harder to resolve our issue any sooner. We spent $9,000.00 five years ago with Fire N Ice and now have a blown motor. I also asked for a written estimate and have none. I was given a verbal estimate of $775. But, nothing in writing. They honestly didn't seem to really care. I understand they are dealing with a lot of people in need of a working air conditioner especially during a heat wave. But keeping important components in stock I believe is crucial.

Our water heater went out and after going round and round with the warranty company we reached out to a company we previously used and was totally ghosted so I turned to YELP. KDP Plumbing not only responded to my request asap but someone came out the next day. Kurtis, the owner provided us with an arrival timeline and set a fair price. Thankfully, our water heater was under warranty and the tech/Nolan was able to swap out the old for a new one with no problem. Nolan not only did a wonderful job, he was professional, very personable, explained everything and answered our questions. Unfortunately, we had a leak inside the walls which was seemingly ongoing and Nolan came back out, fixed the problem cleaned up the area and my family is relieved. (No more cold showers!!!) He was pretty sure he found it. He did , it started behind the water heater and was between the walls of my back to back bathrooms. He was professional explained what was going to be done. They rerouted with pex pipe per my request and were done by 5 pm . He and his partner worked together and left everything clean after everything was completed. KDP get a 5 star review from me. The redwood had lots of splits in the wood (some of it was actually unusable), plus many knots. The quality was definitely not what I expected for this high-priced redwood. I wish I had been able to hand select the pieces, rather than just getting "whatever" the team who bundles the order selected. Definitely not the quality I would expect from Ganahl Lumber.

In the end he emptied the tanks, installed risers (which I highly recommend), covered everything up and left the lawn looking like almost nothing ever happened. Him and his helper did an amazing job. Quality work, hardworking, reasonable prices and all around nice guys. I highly recommend them.

After we decided to move forward with them, the price suddenly increased to $6,500. Although we were unhappy about the increase, we reluctantly accepted the $6,500 quote because we wanted to get the problem resolved as quickly as possible. What happened next was even more concerning. The owner quoted us $6,500, but later one of the employees privately quoted us $8,500 for the same project. At that point, we had no idea what the actual price was supposed to be. The lack of consistency and transparency was alarming and made us question what was really going on. Despite accepting the owner's $6,500 quote and repeatedly asking them to begin the work, they continuously delayed the project with excuse after excuse. Days turned into weeks. We remained patient and cooperative, but our patience was rewarded with poor communication and constant delays. The final straw happened today. We called in the morning and received confirmation that they would arrive at 6:00 PM. We rearranged our schedule and waited. Then we waited some more. After an hour and a half, nobody showed up. No phone call. No text message. No explanation. Our calls were ignored, and our messages went unanswered. This company has now delayed our project for over two weeks and caused significant inconvenience. The issue is not just the pricing--it is the complete lack of professionalism, communication, accountability, and respect for customers' time. If a company cannot honor its commitments, communicate honestly, or even show up after confirming an appointment, it should not be treating customers this way. Please be extremely careful before hiring this company. Based on our experience, the service was disorganized, unreliable, and incredibly frustrating from start to finish.
