a cooked lobster on a plate
Donald J.

I have driven by this place for years and never tried them. Well I seen their ad in the paper and gave them a try and I'm glad I did. I ordered take out and it was ready when I got there. The 2lb lobster was broiled perfectly, tender moist and delicious. The porterhouse steak was cooked medium rare and was also perfectly cooked and to top it off both are specials and sold at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be going back to try something else on their menu.

Great people. Kathy and her granddaughter waited on us. They were very friendly, professional and made us feel at home. I had the garlic ribeye. It was wonderful. The rainbow cake disappeared in ten seconds. Yum. My mom and 13 year old son loved everything as well. I highly recommend that you visit this family run restaurant. There are not many like this left on Long Island.

Lobster special

This restaurant has been around many years and every time we eat there the food, service and ambiance is top notch! Their 2lb lobster special is just that "special " it is a complete meal with a side and salad always fresh and prepared as you like it! A very reasonable wine price list and exceptional deserts

We've been living in the area for a few years, and have passed it many times. Tonight we decided to try it and we were NOT disappointed. The food was delicious, the portions were generous , and the service was great. The atmosphere had a vintage feel along with a great music play list. We loved it. We will definitely be coming back soon.

If you want a quiet atmosphere with awesome food you've found the right place. It's slow, but feels like private dining. Recommend to all

This is an excellent value venue for lobster dinner. It is not high on frills, but provides fine value.

I've given this place…read moreseveral chances, hoping each visit would be better than the last, but unfortunately I've been disappointed every time. The biggest issue is the wait. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, the food takes far longer than expected. Takeout orders are routinely 15 minutes or more past the quoted pickup time, which is frustrating when you're planning your day around their estimate. Service has also been inconsistent. The waitstaff often seems disorganized, and communication regarding delays is lacking. I understand restaurants get busy, but after multiple visits, the same problems keep occurring. The food is decent, but not enough to make up for the long waits and repeated service issues. After giving this restaurant several opportunities, I don't see myself return

The food is actually great, which wasn't what I was expecting from a bar. We had the chicken fingers and fries, for my 17 month old, cheeseburger dip, and pretzel sticks and they were great. The service was great as well. The server was the sweetest. I forgot husband though unfortunately. It's very clean there which is nice to see. There was a band playing, which I think their name was called the category. They were good. Very laidback and the decor is relaxing. Mostly an older crowd and the place was packed. We got a seat next to friends quickly. We weren't that hungry so we just ordered mozzarella sticks and the grilled pesto chicken sandwich, which me and my husband split. We upgraded to beer battered onions rings. Everything was delicious and the sandwich was huge! I initially thought the prices were a bit high but given the portion sizes, it was well worth it. I also got a free beer for signing up for the rewards club, which was a nice bonus. In all, im sure we will be back.

"I see her on the freeway Long Island Expressway…read moreHey, give me a break, baby Help me get out of this rain" (Rolling Stones) I just attended a wedding here, and I honestly can't imagine any aspect of the experience that could have been improved. It was that good. The wedding ceremony took place outside, where rows of chairs were set up and we all had gorgeous waterfront views. After the ceremony, we walked into the building's first floor for the cocktail hour. Simply put, the food was amazing. The cocktail hour alone could have served as a meal. There was a big central charcuterie station of cold appetizers - think meats, cheeses, fruits, and crudities. The four corners of the room each housed a food station - a carving station, sushi/sashimi, pasta, and Asian stir fry. Oh, and there were tons of butler service passed hors oeuvres too. Next, we walked upstairs to the large ballroom for the main meal. Dinner service started with a "Burrata Caprese" salad with a big hunk of creamy mozzarella served in a dressed salad with grilled bread. As for the dinner entrees, would you believe a choice of SEVEN entrees?? I kid you not -- seven entrees - Branzino, chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, Surf and Turf, and eggplant. My table had just about all of the choices, and everything disappeared. After the meal, there was an apple tart with ice cream and wedding cake. All of the people I interacted with, the hosts, the bartenders, the servers and the clearers were super polite and friendly. When I think about the decor, the scenery, the food, and the service, this was a top-notch experience, Well done, Piermont.

Unfortunately some our party arrived late due to the evening rush hour traffic. With that being said, they seated and hosted those of us that had arrived. Meagan (hope I'm remembering her name as this is days later) was our hostess / server. She was uber professional and welcoming. She ensured our table was well taken care of. Thank you! Everyone enjoyed their meals. We tried a variety of dishes throughout the table. The lobster egg rolls, Chips with Queso and spicy disco fries were a good way to start. Some of the entrees we had were; Short Rib ravioli, Asian Persuasion, Cheese Steak, Aioli Burger, Lemon Pesto Pasta, and the Miso Salmon. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. For drinks, the Lemoncello Spritz, and Blueberry Mojito were table favorites. The decor is so modern and current without being over the top. Comfortable and functional. Better suited for smaller parties but accommodating nonetheless. Will definitely return for a date night with wifey.

I ordered a chicken salad of some kind with avocado and salad. My son ordered the mac and cheese - it was the highlight of dinner! Absolutely delicious. His friend got the Thai calamari which was decent until he got to the bottom. It was soaked in seasoning and too sweet. My daughter got the buttered pasta - children's portion. I'll let the photo speak for itself. It was drenched in butter. On the bright side - service was great, most of the meals were excellent, waffle fries on point. I mentioned the pasta and showed our server the pool of butter. He took it off our bill without even asking. So ... 4 stars - 5 stars for local business service and just lost the one star for the less than stellar meal and app. Will probably be back!
