Man, I'm so bummed. Second time here and now I dont believe I will be back. I came for a pedi both times. First time, it was decent enough to return. Nothing outstanding, but adequate. This time, I called ahead to make sure they had time. 45 min later, I arrive as promised. They are busy but not crazy. I'm told to pick my polish and have a seat at a chair. And I wait. And wait. 15 min goes by. Nail tech comes over, fills the water, leaves. 10 more min. Comes back, cuts and shapes my nails, cuts my cuticles, makes no acknowledgement or apology. Back to her previous client. Obviously rushing through both of us. Back to me another 10 min later. Tries to upsell me. No thanks. Seems miffed. Rushes through everything, scratches the hell out of my legs while "massaging them." (This was her upsell point, more massage time. Glad I didnt. This was unpleasant.) Barely any sort of scrubbing or anything, though she pretended to with the scrub block I had from last time (where the girl I didnt see this time actually made an effort to smooth out my feet.) Rushes through my polish, half-ass job at best. I honestly have never felt so much like I was a HUGE inconvenience as I did today at any salon ever for any service. If you didnt have time, say so. If you didnt want to do my pedi, cool... I'll go somewhere else. But this was just not worth my time or money. I will say that other reviews referenced a man and a woman named Tina. Both were there, neither did my service. So maybe if you brave it, request them. read more

Will never come back. Used to be a regular customer but after my last visit I can confidently say I won't be anymore. Tina and her crew and extreme disrespectful not to mention their work is sh*t. I had a shellac manicure done and it started PEELING off after about 2 days. I gave Tina a call and told her and she refused to fix them. I'm so surprised by the poor reviews. I've been coming here since I moved here 21/2 years ago. I've never had a mani/pedi look so good for so long. Yes they only take cash, but so what? I come prepared, they fit me in every time, they are always busy so people must like them and it's a family. It's the cleanest salon I've seen up here and they only do nails and wax, no haircuts. I like that in a nail shop. Their color selection is limited, but it's good quality polish. This isn't the spot for anything fancy. No airbrush, no art, just good, solid, long lasting mani/pedi for $40 with tip. read more

The service was fast. Tina did my shellac manicure and she didn't miss a single spot. Unfortunately, the spa itself isn't very hygienic as it should be. When I put my hands in the UV lighting for drying, I could feel previous nail dust it wasn't the cleanest place but, you get what you pay for. Cash only. read more

Unprofessional and unorganized. We made an appointment, it didn't matter- they weren't ready for us. They did my mom's nails twice, because the first round was not good (from the guy who ran the front desk). They finished my sisters nails with bubbles in it. I left without finishing because the lady doing my nails left me to soak my fingers in water for 10 minutes while she worked on two other customer's nails. They told me that every design I wanted would be ugly and not look good. Would rather do my nails 1000x on my own then come back. I've never had a painful pedicure before-the worst that usually happens is it tickles. But the technician continuously dug his nails into my skin, despite me mentioning several times that it hurt, and the way he cut my nails and cuticles left me bleeding in several spots. I had an appointment for 2:15, I got there at 2:15 and was told to sit down at the nail bar. I sat there, picked out my color and waited an hour and a half. A couple of the nail technicians would walk by and say they would be with me shortly, but that would never be true. After an hour they finally came over, but it already came to the time I had to leave for a graduation. I got up and told them I would come the next day and tried to leave, but they kept telling me to sit down and that they felt so bad for making me wait past the appointment I scheduled. I was already extremely annoyed and just sat down. I kept telling her I didn't want it to be rushed, and she just told me she's fast. So she put on the gel and that was it. She completely rushed it, doing nothing else. She did not clip my cuticles or anything and I still had to pay full price. So annoyed and my nails look horrible. Throughout it all she was complaining to me about how she's so busy and behind, all I was thinking was why she accepted the nail appointment in the first place when I called. I took my husband here for a pedicure with me. I've been here before and forgot why I stopped coming in. Chandler is an awesome manicurist and I believe the owners name is Tina. To get to the reason why we won't go back there ever again is because of Tina's sister and the loud voices and the way they are shouting across to other manicurist talking in their native tongue it is very very rude. There was nothing relaxing or enjoyable about this experience. Put some decent music on, keep your conversations to what is necessary and actually take care of the people that are paying you. She really short cut my husbands pedicure. Major 2 thumbs down. read more

You certainly get what you pay for. they are much cheaper then other salons which is a perk. But on the downside your pedicure doesn't come with soap in the water it's just cold water, a two second hand massage with lotion before you wash your hands with the manicure. (Less then effective) The most irritating part was having 4 different people work on my nails and there were kids of the employees running around the store, taunting the person painting my nails. I left not feeling refreshed instead disappointed. read more

Love this place! Tina is hands down the best nail tech I have come across (and I have had at least 10 different ones), she is quick and my nails always look perfect. I get a ton of compliments on them and they last! I can go six weeks and not have a single one break or fall off. While the language barrier is difficult at times people have to remember that they have a different culture than we do, and typically for people who have anything other than English as their first language aren't usually very talkative. I work with several people that aren't native English speakers and getting them to talk to me is like pulling teeth, so the people that keep complaining about the language Barrie clearly don't understand that. Yes they do run behind, everyone does. I have not been to a nail salon and not had to wait. She is also in the process of getting some kind of card runner for the people that don't carry cash. Either way now that I have been to Tina I will never go to anyone else, she is truly the best and takes an interest in her regular customers and treat us like family! read more

I would have given this business five stars if it weren't for the fact that they made my finger bleed while removing the dead skin off of my nails. And worse yet, they disregarded it and painted right over it which hurt very much. My finger was hurting for around a week. Other than that I enjoyed the experience but my mom who went with me did not enjoy it. Therefore I had to give this business a 2 star and will probably not be coming back. read more

Over all the experience was mediocre. I did a shellac manicure and pedicure. The guy who helped me was rude, I had to ask him to cut my cuticles, and he cut my toe nails crooked and the pedicure lasted maybe 30 minutes. My nails were a bit better experience, while I still had to ask him to trim my nails and cut my cuticles the over all paint job/shellac looks great! In short- if you can deal with someone who is rude, inattentive, and easily annoyed then I would suggest going here. You get what you pay for, so if you are looking for a relaxing/nice experience this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a descent/quick shellac mani it's a great choice. read more

I went with an appointment for a polish change only. I did receive the service I paid for, but saw another woman with an appointment wait 45 minutes to actually be seen. Their pedicure "dryer" is homemade with a simple fan pointed at the floor. I suppose it worked but it seemed to take a long time. While I was drying a woman came in to ask about their services and prices. Once her presence was finally acknowledged, nobody got up to talk to her and just yelled at her from across the room. After she left, the man who who works there made fun of her and the other technicians all laughed. I was not impressed and will not be back. read more

I wanted to check out this spot because their prices are posted at like $15/ped and $9.99/mani. It's close to my home and so I thought lets give it a try. Um no! I called to ask some questions and try to make an appt. I was asking about the power drill sometime used for calluses (I don't need that I have beautiful feet... tee hee hee). Anyhoo, she kept asking if I was saying color. The language barrier not a huge deal for me as I use my mani/pedi time like my massage time. It's quiet and they get to do their job without me chatting them up. However, this time and issue. So here's my situation. I let the question about the drill thingy go. I scheduled an appt. I've never been there but they are relatively new to that location. I failed to ask if they took cards and she failed to tell me. So, I arrived at 1:23pm for my 1:30pm appt. Saw the sign and asked if I had time to go to the bank. She pointed out the ATM in the corner for $1. I said I'd just go to my bank. I left but returned without going to the bank because I didn't want to make someone else's appt late or to have them rush me through my appt so I'd paid the $1 to be on time. Upon returning to the salon, there was no one at the reception. There was a technician giving a manicure and another customer sitting in the pedi chair. A young man walked across the back door area leading I presume to their break area. He looked and we both smiled at each other. I didn't think he was a technician as he didn't greet me or otherwise present himself as an employee. I just stood their waiting to be acknowledge. Finally the same fella came out smiling again and said "you pick color". That's not a knock on his English that is a knock on his professionalism. There was no smile, no kind gesture, just a short somewhat curt tone to get a color. Again, I was testing out a new spot for my mani/pedi so I continued. This fella started my pedi and he was not soft or gentle. My feet are big but they are soft, pretty, and very well maintained. I love my feet and get pedi's more than mani's. I've never had a painful pedi. Now, I was watching my Netflix so as not to be critical. But when he stopped clipping the cuticle to "dab" it with a cotton swab I asked if he cut me. He asked if it hurt. I said yes am I bleeding. He just pointed and said "no blood no cut". That pissed me off because it started to sting which means you broke my skin even slightly otherwise it wouldn't sting. But I could only see that it was red. He continued and was rough with the other toes as well. In his defense I don't know if he was purposefully being rough or if just the fact that he's a male and stronger than the women that I am used to. He spoke to the pregnant coworker in their native language. She came over later to ask if I was OK. I said that he cut me. She said no he did not cut theirs no blood. At this point I was just annoyed and said it hurts so he did something. She didn't see anything but I showed her from my view looking down on "my" toe I could see that it was slightly red and noticeably irritated. She said that she could see some redness but it wasn't a cut. Rather the file that "I" provided was "too" new and stiff so the "buffing" my have irritated the skin but not a cut. That is not OK with me. The rest of my visit was not a pleasant experience I will not return nor will I recommend this spot. The establishment is beautiful. The floor is shiny and sparkly. This is a safety hazard as walking the few steps from the pedi chair to the mani station (with freshly lotion-ed feet) I slipped just a bit. Nothing was said. Not a watch your step, be careful, or even a hand to help me go from one chair to another. The chairs are brand new but not comfortable. Neither is the foot stool portion. Galaxy Nails across the street in the Beaverton City Mall, is a better choice. Their prices reasonable. They are always busy but very professional. The majority of the technicians are top notch. I have no vested interest in either of these salons. And sorry that this is a book but wanted my fellow mani/pedi patrons to be well informed. Bottom line Allure Spa & Nails in Beaverton is not the place to go. P.S. The pics show that the nail work is not straight! Look closely and see that the hands have not been moisturized, look a the cuticle of the white french tips. I am not impressed with their work. read more

I will never come here again. Went in the day before Valentine's day, with an appointment, and waited for over 20 minutes before someone even greeted me. No point in making an appointment. A man gave me a pedicure and I kept asking for warm water because it was barely room temperature, which is not relaxing or nice at all to soak your feet in, and he finally explained they were out of hot water (at 3pm). There were two babies running around the entire 2 hours I was there (yes, took two hours for a mani and pedi, ridiculous!), and the employees were talking and yelling at them the whole time, trying to get them to stay in the back room. The man rushed through my pedicure and did a terrible job- there was polish all over my toes. I could have done a better job at home. The manicure was a gel manicure and the lady kept pressuring me to get a sparkly version of my color of choice, which was irritating. The lights they have to cure it under take 180 seconds each round. I do NOT understand why they have these lights still- every other place I go to has 15 second lights. My hands were burning and my eyes hurt after the NINE rounds of lights I had to do to cure the nails. The lady kept saying "you shouldn't have picked this polish, takes too long to dry". Well, maybe don't offer it? Or tell me it takes too long instead of aggressively pushing a sparkly version instead? The only redeeming thing that happened was I showed the mani lady my toes and she had someone come and sit down while I got my mani and fix them. Which wasn't all that comfortable, considering my hands are stuck curing forever while the lower half of my body was twisted to the right so another lady could completely re-do my toes. All the while one of the babies was playing a game where he tried to touch the wet polish as she painted it on my toes. They supposedly offer wine but you have to ask for it, and then they'll begrudginly give you a couple tablespoons. No toilet paper in the bathroom either. This place is the worst. read more

Worst nail experience I've had! I asked to get my shellac removed and to get a regular manicure. She started by removing chunks of my shellac down to the nail with that electric filling machine (which was painful) and then barely put any acetone on the cotton balls before wrapping my nails. Not even 5 minutes later she started scraping the shellac off my nails when clearly it was still adhered and needed to soak longer. She took chunks of out my nail with the shellac then advised me to get shellac again because my nails were "cracking" and a regular polish wouldn't cover it. I told her no 4 times before she proceeded with a regular manicure. My nails were so jacked up that the regular polish wouldn't go on smooth so I asked for no polish and they still charged me full price. My nails were healthy before I went in and now it will take me weeks to grow out the parts she ruined. I highly recommend going ANYWHERE but here. She also was working on another woman at the same time she was working on me and didn't speak to either of us except to ask if I wanted shellac. And it was extremely unhygienic. It looked like a great place from the outside but I will never be coming back. Don't waste your time or money! read more
