warning don't buy a car from burls used car lot, he sells…read morejunk cars. we bought a 2011 dodge grand caravan last year weeks later we started having flashing lights on the dash, then we notified burl, he had his tow man come pick up the car. he said he had to order a computer box for it, we continue waiting for our car for a month, he rigged it enough for us to drive never put a computer. then a week later we had radiator issues. car needed to be towed again. then he decided to send our account to a third party credit collection company, for whatever reason. we were always on time with payments. all im saying is please think about going here before you buy a car here.

The sales representative told me the vehicle was coated, however we confirmed at the shop that it was not. After pouring water on the surface, it did not bead as a properly coated vehicle should. After the paint correction, I paid to have it ceramic coated to ensure proper protection and finish quality. The tire shop fixed my tires easily, and I did have to come out of pocket to add the assist step. It's been over a year now, and I absolutely love my Cadillac Escalade. It's honestly the most badass Escalade I've ever seen, and I get compliments on it all the time. My recommendation: if you want your car delivered with extra TLC, pay the extra cost to have it shipped in an enclosed trailer.

Upon dropping off the Tahoe, I inquired if he could check the rattling noise on the instrument panel & he agreed to have his technician check it & an estimate of repairs for a fee of @$200. With which I signed a fee & he would call me back if we would authorize the once his tech had checked it. I dropped the vehicle off @10 AM & as promised I was back home by 10:50. Mike called back & provided me with a complete estimate that was way too much for the our current actual value of the vehicle. I showed to the prepared estimate by Mike & it was not reasonable bc our Tahoe had @ 140K miles. We had already a @$3K invested in it & now was it was time to utilize our Tahoe as a trade in for a newer model. Granted our Tahoe endured much use from Colorado to TX & was a backup vehicle for our family when needed. Thank Mike to help us & he even my estimate fee! The part was also discontinued & a used part was highly unlikely to be found... Mike & answered & accommodated us thru it all. The dealership gave me a diagnostic code that turned out to be incorrect and then quoted me nearly $500 for the part and another nearly $500 in labor to fix the supposed issue. That immediately raised red flags. Instead of authorizing the repair, I verified the code myself. Two days later, I had the actual issue repaired for $105.96 total. The code they provided wasn't even the correct one. Whether this was due to incompetence or an attempt to sell an unnecessary repair, neither explanation is acceptable. Customers trust dealerships to provide accurate diagnostics and honest recommendations, not inflated estimates based on incorrect information. This experience reinforced how important it is for consumers to get a second opinion, verify diagnostic codes when possible, and not blindly accept expensive repair estimates. Had I not taken the time to investigate, I could have easily spent close to $1,000 on a repair that ultimately cost just over $100. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this service department. I expected honesty and expertise from a dealership, and unfortunately, I received neither.

This is a CAR COMPANY. How on earth do you not have any cars available to loan out? How incompetent do you have to be to mismanage your loaner inventory so badly that you have to turn away customers because you don't have cars? For an (alleged) luxury car company, this is completely unacceptable. BMW would NEVER have a problem like this. My check engine light came on right before I need to register my car for the year. A friend…read morerecommended Ricky's because he did a great job and his prices were very reasonable. I gave him a call and told him what the test that O'Rielly's did said. I needed a new EGR valve and all the EGR ports cleaned. He actually gave me an estimate over the phone, which my old mechanic said I needed to bring my car in and leave it over night before they could give me and estimate. (RED FLAG) I took it up to Anna to Ricky's and it was well worth the extra miles from the old place I used to take my car. He assessed the issues, gave me an estimate and was finished with the job in 1.5 hours. The engine light was off, but I needed to drive it for 50 miles at least to reset the computer so I took a drive to Sherman got some gas and meandered back through the country roads to Ricky's with just a little over 50 miles. He scanned my car again and it wasn't quite reset and suggested I drive another 20 miles. I took it down to Melissa, then out on 75 to Van Alstyne then back onto the country roads and it still wasn't completely reset so since it was almost closing time he said just drive it some more then bring it back if you like before having the emissions test done. I will be taking it back up to see him next week as I have not been out much this past week. But I cannot say enough about how personable, kind, efficient, he and his staff are and the place is immaculate clean. And they even have a little humor on the bathroom wall that made me chuckle. I know that honest mechanic can be an oxymoron these days but Ricky is the paragon of integrity, honesty, reliability, intelligence, ethical, and respectable. I highly recommend you make the extra trip to Anna if you need a reasonable, honest, skillful mechanic.
