A Disappointing Experience - 0/5 I recently visited the Alo Yoga Flagship Store in Beverly Hills for a simple exchange and, unfortunately, left feeling disappointed. I had purchased a set online with a 15% discount but needed a different size. Since exchanges were allowed in-store, I called another location beforehand to confirm whether they would honor my original discount, and they assured me they would. However, when I arrived at the Beverly Hills store, I was told the discount would not be applied. The sales associate was indifferent and unhelpful, making the entire interaction uncomfortable. A manager later claimed their policy had changed just two days prior--coincidentally the same day I had called to confirm. The experience left me feeling as if I was exchanging an item I had received for free rather than one I had paid for. In the end, I had no choice but to pay the difference, but what truly stood out was the lack of warmth and professionalism. At Lululemon, you feel valued and welcomed, and the customer service is consistently exceptional. Unfortunately, this was not the case at Alo. Love everything about their clothes, but their customer service and online process is a hot mess. I've had so many issues, but to summarize, I ordered a cover-up during Black Friday weekend at 20% off, loved it, but it arrived damaged with a hole in it. Contacted customer service and followed their instructions to exchange. Their rep assured me it was in stock and it would be no problem to exchange. A few days later, they refund me for it, it's out of stock. Throughout the process, I emailed Kylee, the "customer service" agent assigned to my case 3 times with no response. I call back, speak to someone very nice, who apologizes, but can't do anything to help me but give me a 20% discount on my next order, basically the same thing I had when I ordered the damaged cover-up. She said she would notify me when the item is back in stock. I get emailed when the item is back in stock, immediately try to order it and it's not actually back in stock. Called customer service, they don't know why that would happen, called it a "system glitch". So what's the point of providing the option of being notified when something is back in stock? If I could give no stars I would! Terrible experience!! Alo does not care about their customers in store, online, or corporate. If you have a lot of time, and energy to be treated poorly and pay embarrasingly high prices with with no resolution than this is your place! I however prefer to be treated with dignity and respect and know if I have a minor as a size change someone will help me, NOT AT Alo. Clerks run around in their shorts and are happy to help with their tongues out if want to buy something but God forbid you have a size they want your blood type, and mothers maiden. They're all about the money! So don't kid yourself customers don't matter! Shop Lululemon, they're much more helpful, and their products are more comfortable. read more

Sad to write this review, because I do like the product however their policies in terms of tender they accept are absolutely ridiculous. They say they do not accept cash which makes zero sense. They have no problem handling your clothing and handing you a bag but apparently accepting cash which is legal tender due to Covid is not allowed. They're very nice and helpful when it comes to selling you the products but when you go to pay, the manager pressed me on my alternative forms of payment "you don't have Apple Pay" won't be coming back to this store. Would like a message from the business on when they decide to accept legal tender like the rest of the world. read more

This place is absolutely stunning. I've always been a fan of Lulu, but since stopping by one day., I'm never going back! There's more selection and better colors; materials. I came in to check out the pants, and ended up leaving with so many things. Plus, the staff was great. Seemed like genuine smiles and helping, quick to bring sizes or recommend other products. MAnager was helpful with questions, and no one was stuffy, much better than stores i had been in earlier. Their building a pop-up in my neighborhood and by far the loudest neighbor. I've spoken with them daily, they have machines operating 24hrs a day, even on Sunday. They could care less about me or the other neighbors. Arent the building blocks of yoga: peace, tranquility and mindfulness?? Practice what you preach. I completely understand retail can be busy and stressful, but the tone and body language made it feel like asking for assistance was an inconvenience. Things became even more uncomfortable when I was in the fitting room trying on a dress and another employee entered without knocking while I was changing. There was no warning or pause before entering, and it caught me completely off guard. Privacy in fitting rooms should really be handled more carefully. At that point, I honestly just wanted to leave. The only employee who made the experience better was Tiffany, who was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. She was the one bright spot during the visit and I appreciated her professionalism. To make matters worse, I was then told to go to the Melrose location because they supposedly had the dress in stock there. After spending another 30 minutes driving over, I found out the dress was not actually available. The inaccurate inventory information made an already frustrating experience even more disappointing. Went last week and dressed up so I could match the vibe and wow, I was way overdressed this time. Service was still great and they had both pair of shoes I came in for. Was in and out in less than 15 minutes.

I usually don't shop at the store unless they are sales or promotions. The shoes are typically sold at retail price, and I have found better deals at Macy's or online sites like Zappos. I was searching for blush colored pumps at least four inches. I was browsing on their website and saw there were some on sale for $49.95 with a regular price of $89.95. Since they were clearance items, they are final sales with no returns or exchanges. So I decided to check if the store reflected the sale prices online. They did. The clearance rack was great that I had the intention of purchasing one pair and ended up with three pairs. I do prefer shopping here on the a weekday because it's less busy. On Saturday, it was super busy that I waited a while to get my size. Although the attention of the staff was here and there, they were all very nice when they finally gave me their attention.

The majority of that staff should look in the mirror prior leaving to go into work you're representing a retail store of any kind they should not dress as such. I walked into the store perusing the nicely put together merchandise and waited to be attended. Not one of the 4 clerks noticed my existence. Walked to the register hoping someone would notice I was ready to pay. After 5 mins of standing at the register with with a pair of shoes on hand, a young clerk walked right past me, in front of me however entirely ignoring me. She did this 2 more times until (probably my furious stare) made her finally acknowledge me. She was not cordial nor helpful. Asked me what I wanted as if her employment didn't depend on costumer purchases. I asked her to call the manager, she instead called another clerk (a more seasoned one) who instead of offering assistance and and an apology, nervously wrote down generic information and fumbled a few words. When the manager finally came up, he looked annoyed that he had to deal either the subject and let the other clerk finish writing the info. He did not even attempt to say hello. All in all, disastrous costumer service. These people are the reason why stores close down and online shopping takes over. No disappointing, and rude interactions with dense humans.

Well, we were pleasantly greeted when we walked in. We looked around and I spotted a pair I wanted to try on. There were other customers in the store as well trying on shoes. I liked the pair I tried but I just wasn't sure and thanked them for all their help. They were very pleasant about it. An hour later I went to look at the same pair of shoes but walked out with a different pair. I even got the first time customer discount. I will definitely be going back.
