Update after trying their poke (as well as their boba). Absolutely delicious poke bowls! Surprisingly good value, especially for sushi/fish. This place doesn't skimp on ingredients. My bowl was fantastic, and it looked aesthetic too. I highly recommend getting sushi rice as your base for the bowl. As I said in my previous review, the boba is good too. Service is always friendly!! This is still my go when driving through. The dirty Pearl tea is my fave. Poke is ALWAYS on point.

Really like their buckwheat milk tea. It's nutty and not too sweet. Also had their jasmine milk tea which had a good flavor too.

I love this place. I used to go to the San Rafael location before Petaluma opened up and I am so happy there is one closer to home! I've told many friends and am super pleased that there is now also a location in the Costco Marketplace in Santa Rosa. In my opinion, the price is just right for poke at about $12 and the portion is very generous. The fish and toppings are always fresh and delicious and there are many options. I also love their flavored tea and the boba is always super yummy and fresh (trust me, I've had bad boba). This place is a gem! read more

I have to say.... I was very happy with the quantity. A lot of poke places give you small bowls and charge and arm and leg lol. This location gave you a good size bowl and you really felt like you were getting your money worth. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because of flavor. My daughters for the "Hawaiian" and my husband got original. I got the teriyaki chicken instead of poke. My daughters didn't like the sauce at all. They said it tasted as if they added way too much vinegar to the sauce. My husband got original and he said it was a bit bland. I got the teriyaki chicken but it didn't taste fresh. It tasted as if it was made a long time ago and sat around. The meat had a rubbery texture. Also I felt like it was a bit bland too. But I have to say, all the veggies were fresh and I was very happy with that! Also, they didn't charge any extra for avocado as most poke houses charge. If the flavors were a bit better I would have totally given more stars! My family also got their boba tea and everyone was happy with their tea and boba balls had a good texture. I didn't get one and didn't taste theirs so I can't write more about that but everyone seemed happy! read more

The food is okay. The staff is friendly enough. But weird quiet vibes in this place with no ambiance. You kind of feel like you're in a library while you wait in silence. They are VERY COVID conscious (July 2023) and still masking and enforcing social distancing with furniture blocking you from approaching the counter, which is totally fine (everyone has their own comfort level with this stuff), just noting my experience. Great addition to the Petaluma restaurants. We don't eat out much but when we do, we tend to order to Aloh-o. The bowl toppings are plentiful and are layered to perfection! The ingredients are always fresh! Their price point makes it affordable. I cannot say enough about this place. If you love poke, please check them out. They also have non-seafood and cooked options for people who don't prefer raw seafood. Don't forget to order a Boba! Aloh-o is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is amazing and the service is great. The only issue with ordering from Aloh-o is that I cannot trust that everything I ordered will come. On multiple occasions I've had missing drinks or ingredients in what I order. Aloh-o always offers to send me something extra the next time I order and I appreciate that but I would also like to have what I order when I order it. I think the food itself outweighs the only problem that happens so I would recommend this place. read more

Walked into the store and was greeted by the staff. I ordered a white rice, salmon, tuna, spicy tuna, poke bowl with very minimal toppings which included masago, green onions, and crunchy onions. I also added the original sauce to that poke bowl. For my drink, I ordered a dirty pearl milk tea. Let's start with the good: The dirty pearl milk tea was good. Better than other boba spots in the area and something I would purchase again. My cup was filled with a LOT of ice, but from reading other reviews, you can modify the amount of ice in the drink, something that I'll do in the future. And the not-so-good: I was excited to eat the poke bowl, something I've been craving for a few days, and was disappointed when I took my first bite. There was a sour taste to it, not sure if it was the sauce or not. The tuna was definitely not fresh and had a harder texture, and a fishier-than-normal aftertaste to it. The salmon and spicy tuna were less than mediocre. I'd be willing to pay more for a poke bowl that had fresher fish than what I ate today. The quality of fish needs improvement. *Born and raised on Oahu and the poke bowl was something I ate very often.* read more

We found a coupon in a mailed coupon book that features many local businesses in the Petaluma area. Wife and I found two $1 off coupons, so we gave it a try. Overall, REALLY IMPRESSED! I was pretty happy to learn the bowls are less than $12 a piece. Other places can be $15 to $20. So a very fair price to say the least. we also got a dollar off each bowl with the coupon. Financials aside, I found their shelter in place business operation to be pretty efficient with a kiosk that is easy to use. I found the menu option really vast and I'll definitely be coming back more to try them out. As far as poke bowls go, you just can't go wrong for the price point. You know it's nothing special, but it's pretty darn yummy at the end of the day. I'd give them a try. Also, I'm a big guy and I couldn't finish this in one sitting. I hope this helps you. read more

My boyfriend and I came by on Saturday around 2 pm, excited to try out this milk tea place. I usually do not write bad yelp reviews, but the lady at the counter with brown long hair was particularly rude and acted like it was a burden to help us. We didn't feel welcomed at all with her attitude and short, rude responses. I think the place has potential with a more welcoming service. The milk teas were not very cold, with little ice, but overall tasted good, and they were served in nice containers. We ended up leaving upset with the customer service, and it honestly put a damper on our day. We wanted to talk to the manager but refrained from doing so. I was at the Tuesday Morning shopping and saw the name and become intrigued. I ordered a Tuna Poke Bowl with all toppings and a Chicken Bowl for my girl friend plus a Thai Milk Tea and Lychee Fruit Tea, everything was delicious and because we had to go to Tuesday Morning again today, I went back and ordered two Tuna Poke Bowls, a Beef Bowl (for her) and same drinks. Again delicious!!! But next time I would stay with white rice and not sushi rice....lol The guy behind the counter was great, fast, efficient and makes delicious drinks. The quiet guy putting the bowls together was fast and the food was not only delicious but looked fantastic. I think they should offer a Korean Spicy Sauce for the Tuna Poke with all toppings! We just tried this spot for the first time after driving past daily for a while. So glad we did! Fresh food, fast and friendly service, and a totally customizable menu. We ordered at the self service kiosk and it gave lots of options along the way (ex. Drinks - adjust amount of ice, added sweetness, etc.).
