Sunday I turned 75. So grateful to be alive. I invited a few friends to celebrate with me at Aloha Beer Gardens. It's one of my favorite places because the people who work there go out of their way to make sure that your experience is fantastic. The service is good, and the food is great. And they always welcome Luna with open arms. We had so much fun but the time went by so fast. The outside seating is very relaxing and pleasant to be in. We played the games they have available and I think we all got a little drunk, but thank goodness for Ubers. I'd like to thank Aloha Beer company and our servers, for putting up with changing tables,, spilled drinks and loud noises.

Aloha Beer Company is a casual bar that offers locally brewed unique beers and yummy local bar food. We always go for their happy hours deals. Their spinach artichoke dip was surprisingly good and addicting, and their beers are always refreshing. They also offer some pet food and desserts, making sure your furry friend doesn't feel left out! Vibe: They offer indoor table and bar seating, as well as outdoor seating for those who want to bring their pets. The outdoor seating area has some games like corn hole and big Jenga, plus there's a small shop where they sell Aloha Beer Company merch. Parking: They offer valet parking above their restaurant. There's also metered and free street parking throughout the area.

A fun Wednesday night venue to break up the work week! every Wednesday, Aloha Beer Co hosts a trivia night. Just make sure to sit in the outdoor space in the front so you can hear.

This is a dope spot. The kalua pig nachos are no joke. It's great for the table to share. The pizza wasn't the best I've ever had, but for this type of place, it was perfect. The staff were attentive and very friendly. I'd definitely recommend trying a few local beers on tap. I will definitely be back.

If you've been looking for the perfect pau hana spot that also doubles as an easy midweek date night... Aloha Beer Company is it. Right in town, it's got that laid-back local vibe where you can unwind after work, grab a few solid beers, and actually enjoy your night without feeling rushed. It's the kind of place you meet up "just for one" and somehow stay a couple hours. Big bonus (and honestly a game changer)... they're pup-friendly and even have a doggie menu. So now your date night or pau hana can include your four-legged ohana too. Food-wise, you definitely don't want to skip the burgers--juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you want with a cold beer. And the truffle mushroom pizza? That one hits. Rich, savory, and perfect for sharing... or not. Between the drinks, the food, and the relaxed atmosphere, this spot just makes sense. Easy recommendation whether you're catching up with friends, bringing a date, or just treating yourself after a long day.

Updated review since Aloha Beer has been making so many improvements to their food menu! I come here often since I live close by. They had a menu update a while ago last year, adding things like salmon crispy rice and pork belly. More recently, there was another menu refresh so I took the opportunity to try it. We tried the mushrooms Rockefeller, ahi tataki, and BBQ sliders. I was SO impressed by the mushrooms which were a balance of creamy, salty, and sweet with their spinach dip and a tomato onion jam on top. Literally put this mushroom concoction on anything. I ate it with the sliders and it was amazing. I bet it would even be good on mac and cheese. The ahi tataki was perfectly seared and sliced into precise, thin pieces to absorb more of the ponzu sauce. We also love getting the pizzas here. Make sure to ask about the monthly special. Service is always friendly and efficient and the beers are solid. The vibe here has always been casual, brewpub food, but I feel like the new menu items really elevate the vibe of the place.

I love Aloha Beer. Every time I'm on the island, I make sure to stop by. Their beer is always on point, with a great variety from pilsners to IPAs and more. But I also really appreciate that they offer cocktails if you're not in the mood for beer (which was me last night). I went with the li hing mojito, and it was so refreshing, perfect for a humid night. The dried plum touch was everything I needed. For dinner, I had the fish and chips, and my husband got the salmon bomb bowl, both were good. I love their patio area, such a great place to hang out, especially in the evening. Even though it was rainy, it is half covered so we were all good there. Service great as always, everyone so friendly and welcoming to us They also have a really good happy hour, which we've taken advantage of in the past. Parking isn't too complicated either, which is always a plus. Great place to go if you're in Honolulu!

Great little place off the main strip. There are many things to like about this place. Parking: located above the restaurant with valet. Ambiance: Open, spacious, energetic, staff very friendly. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. Very laid back vibe. Nice bar area with plenty of seats and big screen TV. Has an area for throwing sand bags and large size Jenga. Also, has a little souvenir shop that has a lot of cool stuffs. Beer: what can I say, all great. Also has great cocktails (very good margaritas). Food: I had the pretzel and chicken sandwich. The pretzel was large and very good. I don't often get a chicken sandwich (more of a burger guy), but it was also very good. Dog friendly: even has a couple of food options on their menu (picture included) I would definitely come back again with friends and family.

At the last minute, we decided to come to this cute brewery, and it was a big WIN!!!! With a good beer selection for my husband in great cocktails for me, plus attentive and friendly service from the adorable Haidyn, I knew we had found the right place. Plus, we came in happy hour which was even better. I cannot believe how amazing the mini poke bowl was and even cooler that the beer sold here is made on premises and you can even take a tour of their facility. When in Honolulu, this is a must visit.

Came in for drinks on a Saturday night. We parked in the valet area, which was $5 and not due on spot. Our valet driver told us that this charge will be added to our bill and we can pay inside. Made reservations via OpenTable and was seated outside. The crowd was pretty average at this time and it was not too busy. Service was great and quick. Our server checked in with us multiple times and got our food and drinks out quickly. All of their beers here are good and I tried the Mellow Waves, which was good! Love the vibes of this place because it is very chill. I also like that it's dog friendly, they even have a doggy menu. I would definitely come back here!

This unassuming place in Kakaako is phenomenal. Casual setting with indoor and outdoor seating. The servers are all super friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and I have loved every cocktail that I have tried here. In my opinion, food is best as shareables so you can sample more items. Everything was delicious. Another plus is they allow dogs onto their patio seating area. They even have pup bowls on the menu for the furry kids. Highly recommend this little gem!

Not super noisy, but everyone was having their conversations and having a great time. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, and food walking past us looked amazing! The only difference to this establishment was instead of a server taking our order, we were instructed to go to the front podium to place the order when we were ready. We opted for the Fried Calamari with Cilantro Lime Aioli to start, and ordered the Chop Salad with Tofu and the Verde Bowl. The food came out so quickly, and we were actually surprised with the portion sizes for all the dishes. We were able to share the salad and bowl and still had enough to pack a take out box. Everything was delicious! I'm sure it can get busy on the weekends, but overall seems like a nice place to chill with good food, good drinks and good conversation. Wish we had more time to hang out!

The happy hour food menu has a nice selection, it's about $3 off the main menu pricing. The tots were $17 off the happy hour menu and a large order, definitely for sharing. The pork on it was a little dry but the corn, beans pico and sour cream made up for this, tots were fluffy and crispy. We liked this one overall. The ceviche was $26 (not on the happy hour menu), it was a portion for 1-2 people, the fish itself tasted fresh but I wasnt a huge fan of the ceviche flavor, I wish it was more lime/acid forward and would have liked an herbal element like cilantro to spice it up. The wonton chips were not great, they weren't crispy and tasted almost mealy, they also lacked salt, I imagine if they were freshly fried it would have been tastier. Service was very fast and polite. The vibes and seating options were great too. Would return, the empanadas looked tasty.

Food We shared the Beer Battered Fish & Chips, Bang-A-Rang Shrimp, and Eggplant Bruschetta. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, Lokahi Brewing's food missed the mark for me. Their brews were not bad, but there are other breweries in town that I prefer over Lokahi. I tried 4 different ones, and my favorite was the FLOOR IS GUAVA. Here's all the food we got: LOKAHI NACHOS w/ BIRRIA MEAT ($23) [3/5] - Portion was decent for $23, but the chips ran stale and there was uneven distribution of cheese and toppings throughout the nachos. Literally, one side had all the cheese and toppings. The birria meat didn't really taste of the classic Mexican spices that makes birria so good, it felt more like pulled pork. It was also dry. FRIED PICKLES ($10?) [2/5] - This was SO SALTY. I didn't really taste the tang of the pickles, felt like it was squeezed out of all its juice. It was ultimately just chips with a ton of salt. I downed two cups of water trying to finish these. Ultimately, I would come back to Lokahi Brewing for their shows and a brew or two, but I'll eat at home or elsewhere first before coming.

The special was this pork belly (I think) and honestly it didn't wow me. It was a bit bland and also the amount was so small. The Macaroni salad was good and rice was good. Therefore I believe that there are still kinks to be made with their reservation system. We waited at the bar until it was sorted out. You walk through a whiskey wall and walk upstairs to the speakeasy. They used a lot of the decor from the former location known as Harry's Emporium. We were the only ones for about an hour so we were able to maximize the bartender's time. Max is an excellent bartender and informed us that they are only open on the weekends for now.
