The treatment room floors are very creaky, you hear every step they make and it's noisy during the massage. I was in my own room with the owner, and the other two women were together in the other room with other staff. We all loved our services, the massages felt amazinggg and the facials were such a treat! The products used felt and smelled heavenly! The shop was easy to find and so cute inside. Being that I was going through some shoulder pain, I decided on getting a nice massage. I wanted to find a locally owned shop, less expensive, and close to home. Found Aloha Moon Massage and read some great things about their owner Michelle as being one of the best. Called and made my appointment. I decided on a one hour massage. Got there and checked in. Told Michelle my problem areas of pain that I'd like her to focus on. She did a great job at those areas. Apparently the massage comes with aromatherapy, you can choose your scents. I was surprised when she used Pohaku stones, it's my first time experiencing it, always heard about it. It was heated stones being rubbed on my back. She did circular massages under my neck, reminded me of Shiatsu. The peppermint oil under my neck felt like a cooling sensation. Smelled great too. The hot towel under my neck was nice, and later hot towels wrapped around my feet. She has package deals, like a hour massage with half hour of facial, I'll try that next time. She has some jewelry, clothing and products for sale too. This place is definitely worth it. Located between Chicken in a Barrel and the Kapaa Pool. We had a couples massage. It was next to a restaurant. The owner of Aloha Moon was so sweet. She said that she's been a masseuse for years. My husband said it was a fantastic massage. I was not massaged by the owner but another masseuse. She was very sweet as well. This location was far from where we were at, about 45-1hr away but she had good reviews. We were very pleased. The space is small, the music was a little loud on my side, but my honey wasn't bothered by it. I assume it was loud to block out potential noise. It took me a little while to get relaxed. We had a 60 minute couple's massage with Michelle & Kathryn. Both of us really enjoyed our massage & our therapists were excellent. Both took care to ask ahead of time what our needs/wants were, and checked in with us during the massage, to ask how the pressure was. It was heaven! We chose the eucalyptus aromatherapy which was very nice. The room has A/C & it was very comfortable - not too cold, not too warm. Also, they have insulated the room well, so you hear virtually nothing outside. And, of course the soothing spa music was lovely, too! Michelle and Cindy were one of the most wonderful parts of my visit to Kauai! I got the "Welcoming Package" (an hour massage with a facial). Cindy helped me with the massage, and really helped me relax. I have a broken wrist from August 2019, and still go to physical therapy for it, ands he worked it so well, without hurting me--very grateful for that. She also worked out some knots in my shoulders, and helped my legs feel fantastic after all the hiking I did on the island. Additionally, she was quiet, yet not silent, with a warm, soothing voice, which I appreciate in a massage. Michelle followed up with my facial--a first for me! OH MY GOODNESS what an incredible experience me and my partner had. We were looking around for massages while on vacation and fortunately chose Aloha Moon. Firstly, the speediness of reply and quick turnaround for booking was so great. We were hoping to get in the next day and they were very accommodating! Secondly, the quality of massage and customer service was incredible. I requested a deep tissue massage with extra firmness and he got a custom massage also with extra firmness, which was more than magnificent. We both got up afterwards and basically said "they fixed us almost immediately!" All my knots and some shoulder tightness I didn't even know was there melted away. 60 minutes of escape was just the ticket. Thirdly, the pricing was just right. We definitely got our money's worth and were honestly contemplating going a second time. Absolutely loved the entire vibe of the shop as well.
