Pineapple and ham Hawaiian pizza
Demond S.

I have eaten at Aloha Pizzeria a few times now and the pizza has been great. I have had the meat lovers, pepperoni, now Hawaiian. All were great. The slices are huge. 1 slice is equal to one quarter if the large. The crust is thinner like I like but it firm and crunchy. There is not greasy like other pizzas I have tried. The service and staff were great. The restaurant is located inside of the Kuhio Food Hall. It is open seating at the hall. Worth the visit if you are in the area.

Awful! The pizza was edible, but not as good as even the worst frozen/cook-at-home pizza I've ever had in my almost six decades on this planet. Service was desultory. The room was incredibly loud and incredibly overheated - and it's December (God help you in the warm weather). And I came away smelling like the weird combination of fryers that's going nonstop in this "food hall," yuck. I don't bother to give bad reviews often, but this was truly a grim experience. Go to an ABC Store and buy a bag of Doritos before eating here.

Quick Eliza's or whole pizzas . Easy & fast service when in a hurry . Basic selection $9-11 a slice . Pasta options also available. In a Foodhall with lots of options for the family.

Can't go wrong with a pepperoni pizza! It was delicious! Served hot. Quick service. Many tables were available to enjoy the pizza.

We definitely came hungry. Pizza was large enough to feed 3 adults. Grabbed the Combination Pizza, the Mac n Cheese and the Wings! Everything was fresh and delicious. No complaints here! Minimal wait as we went just before dinner time 4-5pm no wait on a Sunday!

While at the international market place, we had a craving for pizza and all I can say is wow!!! Crunchy crust and the pepperoni and mushroom , our favorite was so great ... customer service was just as great !!!

This is good for a family who needs lunch/dinner on a budget! Location is excellent in Kuhio Hall Food Court next to a bar and some flat screens. Pizzas not the best but it's ok and reasonably priced for Waikiki. I ordered the Supreme but if I had a redo I think I would have just got Pepperoni. Everyone in the food court validates and this location also offers pasta and wings.

Aloha Pizzeria is located in the Kuhio Food Hall of the International Market Place, which is wheelchair accessible as its located on the ground level with its doors open. The ambiance of the food hall is also great with lots of seating. The person behind the counter here was friendly, and sociable. He advised me that a fresh pizza would take about 15 minutes, and to come back in a bit, which I did. Sadly, the pizza was disappointing even though I ordered a freshly made one. The crust was super greasy, the center was soggy, and the toppings were undercooked. The red onions also seemed as if they were forgotten and then thrown on top afterwards.

Hawaiian pizza. Huge slices!

Needed a quick lunch fix and found Aloha Pizzeria! Located inside the Kuhio Avenue Food Hall which is inside of the International Market Place. Plenty of seating with Aloha Pizzeria being located inside the foot court. The food court is not your normal food court/cafeteria. It has a bar and lots of different cozy areas to sit. The gentleman taking orders and slinging pizzas was awesome. Very friendly and asked where we were visiting from. I am pretty sure he was a one man show and he was killing it! The pizza slices are huge! I think it is ¼ of a normal whole pizza? So come hungry. We got the Hawaiian which has pineapple and Canadian bacon and the toppings were pretty skimpy. The pineapple especially with cut so small. But the pizza had a great crust and good cheese. Hit the spot for lunch and wasn't a bad price.

I loved the pizza and pasta at this location but the lady working the other night named Sammy was rude and had terrible customer service. Her attitude is foul and she's a very miserable person.

Slightly hidden amongst the surrounding of Kaka'ako is La Cucina Ristorante Itlaiano for many though I knew of this place for quite some time since I do have frequent Imperial Plaza for many other biz found here. The restaurant is located on the grounds floor inside the lobby area and can be easily missed for it's simplicity but those who knows it's a place to visit. To do so you must make reservations and it's online by e-mail only and it was a process for me as it's their primary way of communication along with presetting your order as well especially for braised items that requires 48hrs in advance notice. We didn't select those items but have decided to preorder our starters which is their Insalata di Casa which is a lovely simple salad with Italian vinaigrette and some fresh tomatoes and Bruchetta which is also another simple item but until you've tried them it was very crafted and delicious that was wonderful start to our meal. To share we decided on the Rigatoni Bolognese though they were out of Rigatoni and offered us Pappardelle instead which I was fine and Ravioli Zucca and from what I understand the Pappardelle is house made and it was just the perfect consistency and the bolognese was a delicate sauce that went perfectly together but the Ravioli Zucca was just as amazing. Stuffed with Butternut Squash and my favorite vodka sauce is paired with Italian sausage and garnished with sliced almonds and Italian parsley it was such an elegant bite. This spot is very small and cozy so you must wait outside to be called to your table which they set up for you before you're seated and parking is validated in the building though I did find street parking which is free as well after 6pm but the vibe here is very calm though many do come here as groups and it can get quite loud at moments though the staff did very well to course our starters and entree which is nice as the table is small and won't find much at the same time. I do appreciated the time it takes to prepare the reservations though must admit it was quite different to make it all work and see that it's all done in ways that you have very little wait for your table and your food as well and just loved how it's all crafted to make it a balance of harmony for us all. Thank you!

Our food was tasty, timely, and hot. Our server correctly recommended the vodka sauce chicken pasta and the grandma pizza, which were both amazing. Although the pizza was a bit pricey, $31, it can easily feed a family due to its large size. For the pasta, the noodles were cooked to a perfect Al dente and the sauce was out of this world. The grandma pizza, similar to Boston's spinach and garlic pizza, was AMAZING! Easily tops Boston's version because of the Alfredo sauce that they use as the base. The service was impeccable, efficient, and friendly. The staff were very polite and attentive throughout our visit. The restaurant validates parking, $8 for 4 hours, tip not included. For my son's 18th birthday he wanted to eat pasta. After looking at many Yelp reviews, we ended up making reservations at Taormina. Unfamiliar with the menu we decided to do the five tasting course. As of 4/22/26 the base price is $125 and depending on what you choose, there are some add ons. For example the carbonara was +$25 and the Ricci di mare was +$18. Food: the Focaccia bread was free and comes with free refills. The salmon with caviar was really good. It had the perfect balance but very small, about 1.5". The next dish was the baked abalone. That was also very delicious but two bites and it's over. At this point, we were starting to think we would leave hungry. The next dish was the pasta. We tried both the carbonara and the Ricci di mare. Both were very good. The carbonara came with freshly slices truffles and thick crispy pieces of bacon. Highly recommend for truffle lovers. I'm not a huge uni fan but surprisingly the Ricci di mare was also really good. Of note, the pasta in the five course tasting is half the size of the regular order. Even at half the size, I felt the serving portion was good. I felt satisfied but not full. The next dish was the main course so filet mignon and monchong. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly but I personally didn't like the sweet sour balsamic vinegar taste that was drizzled over. I would have preferred it to be more savory. The monchong was okay but a little overcooked for my liking. The portion size of the main course was good. Lastly was our desert but to our surprise, they brought out a nicely written happy birthday platter with half a lava flow desert and a small scoop of ice cream. My son really enjoyed it. The creme caramel was also good and reminded me of flan. Service: the waitress did her job but I personally felt we had better service entering the restaurant and being seated. She had no smile, did not offer any recommendations, and no small talk which is fine but noticeable. Our bill came out to $463.87 tip not included. Though we really enjoyed the salmon and abolone I'm not sure it's worth the price and the extra three bites. Next time I would just stick with the pasta. If we had just ordered the full order of pasta our bill would've been $195.

I ordered a few appetizers for the table and those went quickly: calamari, bruschetta, and artichoke dip. Yum! Main entrees followed and everyone seemed to enjoy their selections. We ordered dessert and were disappointed that they ran out of creme brulee...my father ordered the cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only reason for not giving five stars has to do with the outdoor seating. I wish the chairs were more comfortable, as we sat there for awhile, waiting for our server to take our large group order along with waiting for food to come out. There is adequate parking and the restrooms are clean and accessible. An elevator is located in the lobby for those who are not able to easily climb the flight of stairs to the venue. I wish the signage was better, as my 74 year old father took the outside steps, as he thought that was the entrance, per signage downstairs.
