Only $24 for spaghetti and tiramisu? What a value! We were served pepper flakes and Parmesan shakers on the side to garnish our plate with however much we desired which was appreciated. Service was fast and friendly with a smile. I almost got the meatball appetizer which would've been 10 meatballs and garlic bread for $16 but when I saw the deal where you get a tiramisu with it, I couldn't pass it up! The pasta came with 5 anyways and I ate 4 before I got full. Being out and about in Honolulu is a hit or miss with finding restrooms so thankfully they had one. Heads-up that their bathroom is for customers only. There is also parking but it is tight and scarce so we had to park a block away. Hoping we don't get towed for the love of Italian food.

Located on Monsarrat Ave, with other businesses, they have a small shared parking lot or you can try finding street parking. We ordered the Clams & Mussels dish which came with 4 slices of garlic French bread, which was very delicious and tasty and the tomatoes sauce did not over power the dish. We also ordered 2 different types of pizza the large and both was also very good and the toppings was fresh and the sauce and crispy crust was delicious. Only drawback is the service is very slow and we had to go and ask for water, utensils to serve the clams ' mussels and go up to ask for the bill and take out box, it is a small restaurant and you would think it is noticeable if a customer needed something or is finished with there meal. Inside she goes to a different table while they are eating and try to remove the husband plate while he went to the restroom, and the wife had to stop her to say I don't think he is done! While we are on the next table finished with napkins on our plates and she walks by instead of stopping by and picking up our dishes. The restroom is clean one for men and women, lock doesn't work so you need to slide the lock bar on the top to closed the restroom door. Parking can be a challenge, and it is a small restaurant, so better to make reservations ahead of time.

We like to order food delivery from here because it can be quite painful to find parking in the area. I have found their pasta dishes to be quite good, even the veggie pasta primavera which can be sometimes bland. They add a lot of veggies so you feel full from eating it. I have never eaten in the restaurant but the food delivery is always great, on time, and without issues.

Tried this place a few months ago and can't wait to visit again! Went around lunch time on week day. Ordered the meatballs and some pasta. Loved the bread as well! Service was quick and easy, and ambiance was clean and welcoming.

My wife and I took our younger son (10) to this place for a lunch as our older son was doing homework at our hotel. I have to say THIS RESTAURANT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR STAY SO FAR! Here is why: * Ambiance: The place is small and cozy but VERY CLEAN and very inviting. It smelled nice and the temperature was was set to not too cold or hot. * Service: The server was awesome and there was ice cubes filled glasses on our table and cold bottle of water to go with it (very thoughtful). * Food: We got this: - Margherita Pizza: My younger son got this for himself and it was DELICIOUS!! It was WAY too big for him (he had 2 slices and like 6 left still - I helped by eating one). - Lunch Special: My wife and I got the lunch special - Pizza with Mediterranean Salad (we could have chosen Tiramasu instead of salad). We chose the Primavera (SO SO Delicious). Between the two of us there was 2 slices left over. In retrospect the three of us could have just ordered the special and be fine...but I have to say this place is A GEM! I would highly recommend it (it is a drive) and we will go again!

Food was delish! It was a nice change for our palates and quite refreshing. We had started off with the bruschetta and the meatballs which were both amazing! My partner had said this was the best Italian food he's had, and it's way better that spots in the City's North Beach dining spots, which I totally agree. For the mains we did a pepperoni pizza for the kid, and shared the short rib tortellacci. Food and service were terrific. My son also enjoyed their garlic bread. Only downside is parking lot has limited spots as there are other businesses shared in this plaza, but there's street parking available.

This casual eatery offers amazing pizzas and pasta dishes at decent prices. Personally, there's nothing crazy special about Aroma Italia, but it falls in a very important category -- a trusty neighborhood Italian restaurant. You will never be disappointed with the food, portions, and the price. I usually share a pizza and salad -- and generally take home leftovers. The staff is helpful when dining in and are generally quick to get your order in and noticing when a table needs a water refill.

$9 but totally worth it! It's imported from Italy

Came in to buy a bottle of soda, walked away with a bag of desserts! Their tiramisu is a must. It's $9 for a piece, but totally worth it! According to the employee, who was very friendly, it's imported from Italy. I'm definitely returning to try the pasta one day!

Nice and friendly staff. The food was amazing. Rich with flavor and so fresh. A little cozy on space but accommodated our party of 7 with another large party.

Food was fabulous...I had the combo Carbonara al Salmone with Tiramisu dessert. Others had the Mediterranean salad combo with the Pesto Parmigiano pizza, and the Gnocchi Gorgonzola. Everyone loved their food. Would have given 5 stars, but we had a little hiccup with our reservation but the staff resolved it. Ambiance is nice with pictures of Italy . We'll definitely be back!

The food was very delicious! We ordered the lunch specials. The flavors and presentation was amazing. The service was top notch and they accommodated 7 of us. We will definitely come back! There's parking out front although it can be limited . Everything was authentic ! Very friendly staff! The ambiance was small but it was cutely decorated.

We were stoked to arrive in time for the end of day pastries discount at 6:00. You need to buy 6 and we just made it! They didn't have the apple pastry we usually get but because of that we got to try the peanut banana cream roll which was delish! Not too sweet, with apple banana and creamy peanut goodness in the center. On the Miopastalogy side, we ordered: 1) The Special: Salmon ikura cream pasta- a beautifully cooked fetucine- "light on the cream" which made for a nicely coated but not too creamy white sauce with salmon flakes, mushrooms, spinach, capers and a dollop of ikura. Mom and aunty loved this. 2) Shoyu butter pasta- their most popular pasta also el dente, a light shoyu with bacon, mushrooms, spinach, katsuo bushi, and a pad of butter, sprinkled with nori and chili flakes over spaghetti. I really liked the flavor on this. On the Dell's Kitchen side we got: 1) Kurobuta katsu- good quality pork with a crispy breading on a delicious Japanese curry with 2 scoops rice 2)Miso salmon - attractively plated with fresh ingredients Both came with potato salad and a cabbage salad tossed with a yummy creamy sesame dressing. I got the Dammann iced tea which was unsweetened and refreshing and hit the spot. Anunexpected bonus was the $10 off we received off each bill for having spent $100 on prior visits! Delicious food with great value and friendly service! They will deliver food but you seat yourself and bus your own tables. We'll be back!

It's a lot like the old Angelo Pietro's, sort of Japanese/Italian Fusion. I also love their bakery choices! Savory and Sweet, so many options!! The crew is pleasant and friendly, especially considering they often work BOTH counters and two different registers. It's more of a casual counter/food court vibe, but with less crowds, decent parking and good food variety. Eat in or Take out, both easy options!

If you're going to be dining past sunset, make sure you book bar/lounge seating or outdoor seating, as for some reason the indoor seating is rather bland and sparsely decorated. It's probably pretty during the daytime, but you can't see anything out the windows past sunset. Luckily, the hostess was able to move us to lounge seating, which was really sweet of her!! We ordered the Rainbow Caviar to start and the Strozzapretti and Lamb Chops for our entrees. Unfortunately, there was a strand of blonde/white hair in the lamb chop that I only discovered once it was in my mouth, and I had to pull it out of my teeth. My sister and I both have black hair. When we first told our waitress, the only options she offered us were to refire the dish or to take it off our bill. We asked to refire it, because otherwise we would be left with only one entree. However, upon second thought, I felt it didn't make sense--why would I pay full price for a dish that initially put someone else's hair in my mouth and would now require a longer wait? When the refired dish came out, I asked the server, who was not our assigned waitress, if we would still be seeing this on our bill given the circumstances. He responded saying he's not warranted to answer those questions and promptly took our dish away again. When our waitress came back out, and we told her that the server took our dish away, she asked us why. We didn't know why either. She said she had to ask her manager. Finally, when she brought out our dish, she let us know that her manager had taken it off our bill. We said thank you and apologized for the hassle, explaining that it just feels gross to eat someone else's hair. Then, she made a comment that nobody in the kitchen has blonde hair. It felt like we suddenly had to defend ourselves. I just don't quite understand the need for that comment--whether the hair was from a chef, a server, the wait staff, or even a guest walking by, it has no bearing on the situation. A customer dining at your restaurant should never experience anyone else's hair in their food, and if they do, then it should be taken care of with respect. They shouldn't feel accused because no one in the kitchen is blonde. By the time everything was said and done, our other entree had gone cold and it was just an unhappy experience. We also saw that other diners who were celebrating something received a small surprise dessert--but we did not. To note, our waitress asked in the beginning if we were celebrating and we said yes, we were celebrating our graduations, but we did not receive any dessert. I'm not sure if this was due to the hair issue, but it felt a bit disrespectful to treat us differently than other diners. This is not to blame any one individual, and we ultimately left a 22% tip for the hassle. But I urge the management to set a policy in place for these situations--one that actually places care in the customer without all the hassle.
