The customer service (shout out to Victor P at the bar) and ambiance was good - even though there was no live music on a Sunday, Fathers Day, when there should have been. Outside of the lack of music, the only complaint is the menu. There are a lot of option and the pizza is good! We think the pizza is overpriced, wild that it's on average $30 for a "personal pan". Anyways, we shared a Neapolitan (10" - 4 slices) and the bolognese. We enjoyed the pizza, but the bolognese was bland. We've had fantastic bolognese in Italy and domestically and this one needs some help. Lastly, the drink menu...especially wine menu needs a revamp. For an upscale pizza place, I'd expect better quality wine. Other recommendation - maybe beer on draft? Currently, the beer is only bottle or can. Anyways, overall give it a try but you will be spending some $$.

If you want some amazing fired pizza, this is the place. You have two options, Ala Carte or all you can eat. Depending on your party size both are great choices. The all you can eat is similar to a Brazilian steakhouse but with pizza. They come around with fresh pizza including their dessert pizzas. Save room for it all... The service is great and they make sure you are getting what you request. This place is not your average pizza place and worth the price.

Went right at opening and had 2 dollar off the inside is cute with a hipster vibe. Looks fancy for a pizza spot. They had an all you can eat pizza for $44 each which is a lot for a family of 4. Kids would be half off but still more than you expect for pizza. The staff was great and helpful. After my husband and I got 1 drink each the total after tax was $180. Great to try things new but this is what to expect for 2026 wiks pricing. We still had to pay $5 with validation at the marina parking

In addition to the waffles, the fruit was delish.

I'm so glad I found what looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but a magical place of delicious delights! That's literally how I felt. My first impression walking in was that this place is classy. From their brick walls to their beautiful furnishing. Their place mats feel like leather and their tables have little hooks to hang purses. Attention to detail! My wife and I shared a Brazilian breakfast and avocado toast with a poached egg. At first glance, the waffles looked like regular waffles, but they aren't. I think they are supposed to be cheesy. I didn't taste cheese. It was almost dough-like. And I ate the waffles like a toast without syrup. The avocado toast with poached egg was absolutely delish. To my surprise, it wasn't just avocado and egg. The layer of pesto really added a zesty flavor to the creaminess of the avacado. I'm so glad that the waiter had recommended the food we had. His attention to our pallet and service felt so upscale. I was so impressed with this place that my wife and I didn't have words to express to them how much we liked that place as we thanked the waiter and I think the owner. We are destined to come back... but next time... for dinner.

pizza of me..... We got together with friends in January to catch up and to try a new place. NOTES / LOCATION 1. San Paolo Pizzeria is located in the former location of Outback Steakhouse in Waikiki. 2. Menu accessed via QR code. Please note there are 2 menus available: Ala Carte and The Pizza Experience (AYCE). 3. As of our visit on 1/30/26, the Pizza Experience (AYCE) was priced at $44.50. 4. Parking is in the garage associated with the complex SPP is located in. Sorry, not sure what the name is, but entrance of the garage is off of Ala Moana Blvd (1st right after you pass the restaurant East bound). Make sure to get validation. 5. Per the menu QR code, happy hour is Monday thru Friday, 5:00pm to 6:30pm. 6. Similar to the format at Brazilian bbq, there is a "stop and go" aide to assist servers on whether food should be served or not; Green = Yes, Please, Red = Taking a break FOOD / DRINK After closely looking over the menus, our group of 4 unanimously chose the AYCE. As there were a variety of savoury AND sweet pizza choices included, it made sense to choose the Experience. Much like your chain Brazilian bbq restaurants (I.e. Texas De Brazil), servers visited our table with both savoury and sweet pizzas. Wanting to save as much room as possible, I only indulged in the savouries, while others tried the sweet varieties. I enjoyed the Margherita pizza, and all other pizzas that had a healthy serving of cheeses included. A round(s) of drinks completed our meal. Yes, I'll have Moscow Mule please. Overall, we all enjoyed the pizzas and drinks. SERVICE The servers were very friendly, attentive, and patient with all our questions. Our primary server JP provided excellent customer service and checked on us periodically throughout the meal. I truly appreciated his knowledge, as well as patience, with all our many questions about the menu. side NOTE There was a live performer/singer during dinner. BOTTOM LINE A unique and satisfying dinner experience. Though I wouldn't go out of my way to drive into town just for a meal here, I would take visitors, or if on a Staycation in Waikiki, I would definitely consider dining here. Recommended.

Spontaneous early dinner with co workers and this place was surprisingly amazing! I've worked at a few pizza places (Italian) and the crust on the pizzas were amazing! The toppings that were offered were diverse and high quality and very delicious! I did flinch at spending $60 a pizza...... Ambience was nice as it was a modern open restaurant with a centered bar and a small stage at front with live music. We had a bottle of wine which was a great choice! It was red recommended by our server! Service was great and extremely helpful!

Made reservations for 6 of us on a Wednesday night. We ended up coming early and they sat us right away (my friend even brought his dog!). Food was great, as always. We had everything from cocktails, appetizers, pasta, pizza & desserts. Services was very good; everyone was really friendly. I like the modern design, and the way they represent Brazil & Hawaii together. I would definitely recommend this place. And it's great for large groups too.

JP was our server and he was friendly and attentive the entire time, took great care of us. The food was delicious! I pre-ordered appetizers, pizzas, and desserts online, and phoned ahead to ensure nothing was boxed for carry out, that I was just making it convenient for my party to relax. It worked out great! I had a party of 7 and not once was it hectic! There was live music, a saxophone player, on the stage. Overall a wonderful 1st time experience!

Interesting concept of AYCE pizza! It's basically like Brazilian bbq where the servers would bring out different pizzas on rotation and you'd flip the card on the table indicating whether you wanna keep going or take a break. Food wise, most of the pizzas were enjoyable! My favorite was the honey and Brie, casteoles, prosciutto, Hawaiian and bbq chicken. Strangely the ones I thought I would enjoy weren't that enjoyable. Not a big fan of the catupiry cheese. Usually I like creamy stuff, but that on pizza was a bit too much and made it soggy fast. The mignon one had really good mignon on it, but the overall flavor was a bit lackluster. The mushroom pizza could use a bit more garlic. The Portuguese one with olive and hard boiled egg was interesting but the toppings didn't really go well with pizza, or maybe that's just not my cup of tea. I thought I would like the shrimp, but again the cream on top made it less enjoyable. Some pizzas were brought out hot and crispy, some were already lukewarm, especially when it wasn't crowded when I first sat down, so I'd imagine some pizzas would have sit there for a bit already. So it's really hit or miss. If you go for the AYCE then go when it's prime dinner time for fresher slices. The dessert pizzas were a hit for my kid. He loved the white chocolate and banana, and the chocolate with strawberry ones. I was looking forward to the pistachio one, but I couldn't taste much of the pistachio flavor. Their dough was yummy. Chewy inside and crispy outside. I wouldn't mind eating the crust at all. However it's hard to eat every piece of crust when it's AYCE... Service was great!! All the servers were super nice and attentive. It's also cool to listen to some live saxophone bossa nova on a Friday night. They offer parking validation! 4 hours for just $5 at the Ilikai marina parking structure where the restaurant is attached to. However, after the elevator, you'll have to exit the building and go around the corner for the front entrance. Ya know if you go there for Friday dinner, you can catch the fireworks too!

San Paolo Pizzeria is a must-try restaurant to enjoy the different types of pizzas on a chewy, fluffy dough with a crispy crust. Choose from honey and brie, a meaty hawaiian pizza, or a sweet strawberry Nutella pizza. Customers can choose a Neapolitan slice, half, full, or AYCE to indulge in a sweet or savory pizza. Great service, friendly staff, and plenty of parking. Interior is also well organized and clean with a low light setting to make it easy on the eyes. Awesome establishment for pizza!

Didn't plan on stopping here for dinner, but so happy we did! Everything from the no wait seating to the beautiful music (live violinist) to the diverse (and super yummy pizzas) to the MOST AMAZING service (thank you Sierra)! We had the Gourmet Pizza Experience and it did not disappoint. Each pizza was unique and the dough was so soft and chewy! I usually throw away the crust - not this time! Ate every single one! My pics aren't the best - my plate was already dirty by the time I remembered to snap some shots! Sierra was attentive and friendly and even came by to ask if there were any special pizzas we were waiting for. Will be back again soon!

ALWAYS LOVE GOING TO THIS PLACE. First of all, reservation is so smooth and they really adhere to your special requests (birthday, special occasion). We are always greeted warmly and we always get the table we prefer. It's baby and kid friendly, you can request to be sorted away from the stage. Food is AMAZING. It's nice inside, interior is inviting. Clean. Perfect place for dinner dates with family and friends.

I did not expect this place to be so good. Pizza is probably the last thing I think of ordering on the island, but after a few days, my girls and I were craving something that felt familiar. What we got was anything but ordinary. I found this spot on Yelp (clearly for a reason) and loved that it was within easy walking distance of our hotel. They offer a Brazilian-style, all-you-can-eat pizza experience, which sounded fun, but we weren't super hungry that night so we opted for the à la carte menu instead. Each pizza we tried was fresh and flavorful. The crust was perfect and toppings were generous. Truly gourmet! The Spaghetti with Parmesan Fonduta & Proscuitto Di Parma was amazing! We should've ordered two! The service was great and the overall vibe made it a great relaxed dinner spot after a long day. If you're on the island and craving pizza, don't overthink it. GO!

Ask the Community - San Paolo Pizzeria

How long have they been open?

They have been open less than a year. They are in the old Outback location.

How much is the AYCE option?

From what I remember it was about $40/person. One caveat the whole table has to chose this option, you can't have one person just ordering a pizza off the menu if they are a light eater.

Is this a comfortable place for a solo diner?

Yes. It's very spacious and great for a solo diner. Good night to go is when they have music.

I was wondering if they sell by slices?

    No, they don't.

Is this the soft crust droopy neapolitan style like most other pizza restaurants in HI are, or is it nice thin AND Crispy NY style? Please dont say combination and thanks in advance for taking the time.👍

If you want East Coast non-droopy pizza, go to Black Shamrock on Nuuanu.

    Where is the parking location?

Validated parking for San Paolo Pizzeria is located in the Ilikai MARINA Condominiums Parking Structure. Entrance is on Hobron Lane from the oceansidd corner of Ala Moana Blvd next to Red Lobster.

Is there a happy hour or a happy hour menu?

Yes. Happy Hour Monday to Friday 4-7pm.

Do they serve draft or is it bottled beer here?

    Both

What really made our visit stand out, though, was the service. I wish I could remember our cashier's/server's name because she deserves a shoutout. My son and I both have food allergies, so before ordering we needed to make sure everything was safe for us to eat. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of our questions. She also helped me figure out which pasta would be the best choice for my picky 7-year-old and even arranged for the grilled chicken to be served on the side instead of mixed into the pasta. That small accommodation made all the difference since my son wouldn't have touched it otherwise. The portion size was perfect for sharing between the two of us, and we both left happy (which is saying a lot when dining with a picky eater!). Between the fresh, flavorful food and the exceptional customer service, this was a wonderful experience. Not a lot of tables inside but they do appear to have an outdoor seating area in the back. I opted to sit at the bar. My Crystal Tiger cocktail was perfect. The bartender was super knowledgeable and friendly. It was fun watching his bartender tricks while he made drinks. We had the Hokkaido Milk Bread and Onion dip for appetizers. The Grilled Kampachi was so good. Cooked to perfection with amazing seasoning and flavors. The accompanying sauce had hint of curry with lovely freh herbs. Loved it! My fave dish of all the ones we tried. We also had the Capellini Granchio. This was also delish. Pasta was perfect. A good amount of crab to flavorful noodles. I will definitely return in the future to try more things and have the Kampachi again. This would make a nice date spot. Dishes are impressive.

Is there no policy of cutting off guests? Does it have to take them to fall on the ground hitting the wall? Tables on both sides next to us all complained. Apps: The scallop crudo was excellent and the highlight of the meal. The foie gras toast was greasy, and the foie gras was served as a firm block rather than the smooth, spreadable texture I expected. Main: Our pastas arrived about 45 minutes after being seated. The spaghetti had good flavor but was inconsistently cooked, while the Capellini Granchio was buttery, smooth, and full of crab flavor. Bill: $170 with 3 cocktails minus tip. A few good dishes, but definitely doesn't qualify as a location for date night. I'll be trying the restaurant next door instead.

Wait times were minimal between ordering, appetizers, main course, and dessert. Although I ate leisurely, I was there for about 90 minutes. The atmosphere is so enjoyable, especially if you get outdoor seating. Cool, quiet, intimate. . Salads with every entree as well as bread? Makes the prices worthwhile. Every pasta dish was delicious: baked ziti, fettucine, pesto sauce. 10/10. Pizza and calzones if you have someone in your party who doesn't want traditional. Specifically, it's pizza with a crust on the thin-ish side that can still hold up the toppings and is nice and crispy. The edge doesn't poof up like a Neapolitan style but rather the sauce and toppings go pretty much right to a flatter end. Delicious when served on site, but a word of caution: when boxed up for take out the crust loses that awesome crunch. But skipping takeout to enjoy on site is recommended. The service here was also great, with attentive and unobtrusive staff and dog friendly outdoor seating. And as others have mentioned, being in quiet Hawaii Kai near the marina has its own attractive charm. Great spot- I'll definitely be back!

We had a family dinner--for eight--at Mangiamo by 604. I was excited to have my father and brother…read moreexperience this establishment, as I had a great experience two years ago. My father and brother are both military veterans and enjoyed the fact that this venue was situated at a golf course they patronized before. We all ordered drinks--I ordered a bottle of wine, taking advantage of the Half-off Wine Wednesdays; some tried the alcohol specials and others simply elected to have soda. I ordered a few appetizers for the table and those went quickly: calamari, bruschetta, and artichoke dip. Yum! Main entrees followed and everyone seemed to enjoy their selections. We ordered dessert and were disappointed that they ran out of creme brulee...my father ordered the cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only reason for not giving five stars has to do with the outdoor seating. I wish the chairs were more comfortable, as we sat there for awhile, waiting for our server to take our large group order along with waiting for food to come out. There is adequate parking and the restrooms are clean and accessible. An elevator is located in the lobby for those who are not able to easily climb the flight of stairs to the venue. I wish the signage was better, as my 74 year old father took the outside steps, as he thought that was the entrance, per signage downstairs.

I don't know how the elderly lady with walker was able to get up the stairs or they weren't able to dine there. I didn't mind this place. It's not like Assaggio, but more like Olive Garden. Food was okay but the view and ambience were nice, especially at Christmas at Night! It's a huge restaurant with seating for parties with a lot of free parking shared with the golfers at the golf course. Indoor and outdoor seating. The last time, my friends weren't too impressed, but we did try variety of dishes from pizza, salad, pasta and appetizers. They have some specials from time to time. So sad that tomorrow is their last day of business according to my friend. Sad to see many restaurants are closing soon.
