OMG This place is awesome!!!! I went there yesterday just because yelp review, and ordered some sushi. I am so glad that I found this spot! The girl at the front was super nice and very helpful! Even she told us it would take about 45-60 min. because they had a lot of orders, we understood and we decided to wait, because they only have ONE SUSHI CHEF. When I ordered, she asked me my phone number, because she texted me when the order is ready! She even asked me if I wanted to go to somewhere while I am waiting for the foods or I wanted to wait in the parking lot. It is because while I am waiting at somewhere, she could text me 10 minutes before the order is ready. HOW AWESOME!! All after that, I got my foods and had some bite of the sushi and it was just AMAZING!!! it was not because of the service was good. The food was JUST WONDERFUL!!! Y'all need to try this sushi place at least once in your lives. P.S. They told me that because it is family owned restaurant they might closed early when they are super busy; due to out of rice. Which is I don't blame on that because they work very hard! So please make sure call them and check the time (especially on the weekends) before you order. The white fish tasted like lukewarm soap. Then, its California Rolls' filling tasted like microwaved crab juice, dribbled inside. Its rice even carried a wet, clammy, & gloopy texture. I felt furious as I paused eating. With a bright fake smile, I paid & quietly left. Regarding ambiance, Sushi Factory (Azusa) is clean and attractive. The tables are shiny, and the floors are relatively well-swept. I also appreciated the pink blossom decor. In the corner, there's even a television that plays the football game. The meal arrived fresh, clean, & delicious! It's good quality sushi!! I arrived at Johnny Sushi (Glendora) on Sunday (around 7:10PM). Parking is simple. This business is located inside the popular Glendora Public Market Hall, so there's an assigned parking area. Parking is a little competitive, but I easily found a spot. Staff is professional and diligent. Staff attended to me quickly. And Staff worked hard. Customers order at the counter and receive an electronic pager that buzzes when your meal is complete. My food took about five minutes. FAST!! As mentioned, I sincerely enjoyed the Tsunami Plate #14 ($18.99). Despite its unusual location inside a Market Hall, the food is FRESH! The nigiri melted apart softly in my mouth. And the sushi tasted very clean and satisfying! WOW!! Since I ordered for Dine-In, the meal was even plated aesthetically on a dish. The portions are GENEROUS and the quality rivals mid-to-upscale sushi spots. AFFORDABLE and DELICIOUS! On ambiance, this small business is a stall inside the Glendora Public Market Hall. Fortunately, the area is fairly clean, but the seating area is reminiscent of a college campus cafeteria. Still, there's utility. There's nearby flat screen televisions that are showing the Soccer Game. Also, there's A LOT of seats and other stalls to peruse. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Johnny Sushi (Glendora). This place is usually pretty busy for dine in so we usually order take out. Their take out service is fast usually ready within 15-20 minutes. By the time I driver over to pick up our order is ready. The staff is always friendly. The food has always been great, who's is why we keep coming back. Great selection of sushi rolls and teriyaki plates. Definitely recommend and if you're planning to dine in, give yourself plenty of time during those peek hours.

I had leftovers of the chicken and it tasted just as terrific reheated later for dinner. Miso Soup and Rainbow Roll were both equally delish. Recommended Japanese spot if you're never been!

Yesterday I tried to order and it was closed so I went with my usual 323 Hibachi on Wheels (go see my review). Even though I ordered two plates yesterday - you don't become Elite unless you exhibit "big back" eating tendencies lol - I was still craving more hibachi, especially steak. So here I go again trying to order from this place and they weren't taking orders. Persistence paid off and they finally opened up the delivery option. I got the steak and shrimp plate. The steak was tenderly cooked and not chewy. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and they were not rubbery. The veggies came with a nice assortment of zucchini, onions, bell peppers and mushrooms; however, they could have used a little more salt/pepper and/or butter (I think they may have been sautéed in oil). The rice was perfection and this girl loves her fried rice. Note that they put scallions on top of the rice/meat portion as well as on the shrimp in case you have an allergy (I don't recall seeing that mentioned when I was ordering). As for the sauces, my go to is the "pink sauce". They offer a spicy version (the Joker) and a non-spicy version. The spicy version is too spicy for me but it was doable and the other one was too bland. I was disappointed with their version of "pink sauce" but their garlic butter and ginger sauce (which I never use) made up for the disappointment. Definitely go with the garlic butter and ginger sauce. I dip all of my hibachi in sauce and don't conform to what sauce goes with what - I conform to what my tastebuds like. While this was a very nice portion for the price, ya girl ate nearly everything and I had already eaten about an hour prior lol. Zero control when it comes to yummy food. This is definitely a place to get your hibachi on and gets a yummy in your tummy rating. One recommendation for the restaurant: For deliveries, I suggest stapling a receipt or something to that effect so the recipient can tell if the delivery person accessed the food/opened the bag and potentially tampered with the food. In this day and age, one can't be too safe.
