    Malasada options!
    Shelby S.

The line for this food truck seems to always be busy. They are clearly a popular spot. We were eager to try Malasadas and they were so good, we literally came back a second time to get more. The chocolate dipping sauce is a great compliment to the Malasadas. We didn't have to wait very long for our order to come up and the staff working this truck were always so friendly. Several people were ordering sundaes. Seems like they have several goodies to try!

Stopped by to see all the food trucks and Aloha sweets could be smelled across the lot. The aroma of funnel cake drew us in and what we found was tasty churros, 5 large churros in a bag for 10 bucks win! They were hot crispy and hot the spot on a windy sprinkled rain evening.

When I tell you I was excited to see this I'm not even lying! Malasadas are my all time favorite thing to get when visiting Hawaii and being able to get them with icecream on top was YUMMY!!! I got mine with strawberry icecream, the other flavors were vanilla and chocolate. The strawberry icecream was so good and tasted like real strawberries!! Service was great!

Cute food truck across the street from Times Supermarket in Honokowai (Honoapiilani Food Truck Park). This seemed to be the only dessert truck there tonight (and the busiest). 2 local braddahs were running the show. Super nice and polite even though the customers were non-stop. The chocolate shake was creamy and sweet. Very good. My son loved it. The strawberry boba almost tastes like melted strawberry guri guri. Refreshing on this warm summer night. Yum! But the BEST dessert was the malasada sundae. 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream on top. The malasadas were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Idk what kind of magic oil they used, but the malasadas were still semi crispy after a 5 min walk back to our hotel. I would definitely come all the way back here just for this! My only gripe is that there were no prices on the signs. For our 3 items, the bill was almost $40. But this obviously did not deter us from trying.

The Malasadas were greasy and dumped into a paper bag. We ordered them with chocolate sauce and we watched them squirt Hersheys syrup in a plastic container. For the high price we expected homemade sauce and a better presentation. They were pleasant when taking our order. The food truck area is cute with tables and various trucks.

Service lady in the front was so mean and was cussing at us when we dropped our drink on accident saying we were dumb and had to pay for a other one when it was her fault.

Horrible service! The cashier is so rude and the malasadas tasted old. The bad service matched the bad malasadas. Would not recommend.

Very tasty malasadas, but no prices or quantity shown on the signs. Would go again! Mango dip with the malasadas was yummy!

Ono Gelato Company Located in Whalers Village…read more If you're strolling through Whalers Village and craving something sweet, stop here immediately. Ono Gelato is the real deal, and you can taste it in every bite. Their gelato is made daily from scratch by a third-generation gelato maker from Torino, Italy, using whole milk, heavy cream, and egg yolks, with select ingredients imported directly from Italy. The authenticity truly shows. I tried the Coffee Crunch and Cookies & Cream, and both were outstanding. The Coffee Crunch was rich and smooth with bold coffee flavor, packed with macadamia nuts and chocolate chunks that added the perfect balance of creamy and crunchy. I'm completely obsessed. The Cookies & Cream was ultra-creamy and generously loaded with cookie pieces, not icy or overly sweet. They also offer a wide variety of flavors, from island favorites like coconut, mango, and macadamia nut to classics such as chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, hazelnut, and Sicilian pistachio. There is truly something for everyone. Creamy, authentic, and absolutely delicious, this is one of the best gelato spots on Maui. We will be back every single visit. Yelp Tip: A perfect post-beach treat or dessert while exploring Whalers Village.

Spacious inside with plenty of seating. Pricey, but to be expected. Definitely the best option of the nearby Napili places. Service a little show if it's busy. I enjoyed the turkey pesto panini and my custom turkey sandwich for the plane ride home was large and fresh. I did order some croissants for the kids, and they toasted them, which I wish they did ask beforehand as I would have said no. Overall, a great option nearby. Is it the best you'll ever eat? That's bold, but it was perfect for the location.

The customer service was okay, female worker wasn't as friendly with us as she was with the person in front of us. I came for an acai bowl and got the island vibes açaí and added cacao to it, this açaí bowl is not the sorbet type, but a blended açaí (I didn't know that). This is just personal preference, I don't like blended açaí because it melts quickly. The lilikoi butter is a fun idea, but I don't think it blended will with the bowl itself, it was bitter. My friend got the Cali style breakfast burrito and it was a small wrap and hardly "Cali" style at all. It was just giving breakfast burrito. The salsa was giving it came from a jar We also got an unsweetened matcha, if you have high expectations for matcha, I'd skip n go elsewhere. Overall food was good but very over priced for what you get. Go support the native Hawaiian locals instead of this spot, just being real.
