Stopped by to see all the food trucks and Aloha sweets could be smelled across the lot. The aroma of funnel cake drew us in and what we found was tasty churros, 5 large churros in a bag for 10 bucks win! They were hot crispy and hot the spot on a windy sprinkled rain evening.

When I tell you I was excited to see this I'm not even lying! Malasadas are my all time favorite thing to get when visiting Hawaii and being able to get them with icecream on top was YUMMY!!! I got mine with strawberry icecream, the other flavors were vanilla and chocolate. The strawberry icecream was so good and tasted like real strawberries!! Service was great!

Cute food truck across the street from Times Supermarket in Honokowai (Honoapiilani Food Truck Park). This seemed to be the only dessert truck there tonight (and the busiest). 2 local braddahs were running the show. Super nice and polite even though the customers were non-stop. The chocolate shake was creamy and sweet. Very good. My son loved it. The strawberry boba almost tastes like melted strawberry guri guri. Refreshing on this warm summer night. Yum! But the BEST dessert was the malasada sundae. 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream on top. The malasadas were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Idk what kind of magic oil they used, but the malasadas were still semi crispy after a 5 min walk back to our hotel. I would definitely come all the way back here just for this! My only gripe is that there were no prices on the signs. For our 3 items, the bill was almost $40. But this obviously did not deter us from trying.

The Malasadas were greasy and dumped into a paper bag. We ordered them with chocolate sauce and we watched them squirt Hersheys syrup in a plastic container. For the high price we expected homemade sauce and a better presentation. They were pleasant when taking our order. The food truck area is cute with tables and various trucks.

Service lady in the front was so mean and was cussing at us when we dropped our drink on accident saying we were dumb and had to pay for a other one when it was her fault.

My family and I are in Maui for vacation! We decided to stop by the food trucks near our hotel. GLAD WE DID! The pineapple lemonade caught my eye INSTANTLY. My whole family decided to get one each. We were offered to get our lemonade in a mason jar! if you do this you can bring your glass, with the sticker on, for a 5$ refill whenever you would like! Any day! There was PLENTY of seating covered and uncovered. Tables were very clean and so was the grounds. It's a gravel and dirt road just lined with food trucks! very well lit area as well! 10/10 recommend!

Horrible service! The cashier is so rude and the malasadas tasted old. The bad service matched the bad malasadas. Would not recommend.

Very tasty malasadas, but no prices or quantity shown on the signs. Would go again! Mango dip with the malasadas was yummy!

We waited too long on our first night in Hawaii to decide where to eat. Hubby pulled up the Yelp…read moreapp, put in sushi and this food truck came up as still open at 7:30 pm. We decided to hit the road and find it. Lucky we did! It was open, there was no line. It had a great assortment of rolls and a good number of options for nigiri. We got 4-5 rolls and some nigiri and a poke bowl. It was all freshly made, perfectly rolled and came out at the time told to us, about 15 minutes. We ate it in the car- we didn't notice the ants in the table until after we sat down to wait for about 10 minutes. I followed them on instagram and they posted our order. So cool! We went back one more time during our trip.

At least two of our uber drivers mentioned this place as a top sushi place on Maui, and I'm glad…read morethey recommended it! Smash Maui is an absolute vibe. We stopped by on a Monday night around 7:30 pm after doing the road to Hana. They had some Whitney Houston and Shakira bumpin, some cute garden lights, and three outdoor picnic tables for diners. We ordered and had to fill up on gas, so we picked up some drinks from the nearby gas station and got back to wait for the food. The server said it would take about 15 minutes, and I think that was pretty accurate. We ended up ordering the following: Salmon Nigiri - 3/5 this was a little bit more salty than I normally expect of my nigiri. Spicy California Roll - 5/5 tasted like a fresh California roll with some spicy mayo on it. It wasn't very spicy though? Mild enough for the non-spice lovers. Tempura Roll - 5/5 this was probably my favorite roll. It was simple yet delicious. You can't ever go wrong with unagi sauce. Smash Roll - 4/5 the smash roll was really good. It had a good, well-rounded taste with the tuna and salmon. This was my husband's favorite roll. If you're feeling like you need some good Asian-American sushi, check out Smash Maui! It's going to hit!

More than enough for one person../probably a little too much for one person :) The inside has pretty limited seating and there is some outdoor seating, but also limited- so you may want to consider ordering to go. The parking lot is also pretty tight since the entire back row is reserved for employees

Actually was quite pleasantly surprised that we liked the Venezuelan food. The lady at the counter…read morewas friendly and helpful. Lots of plant based options. Beans were well cooked and flavored. So was the rice. The bananas/ plantains added good sweet flavor to the whole meal. The coconut cheese was interesting. Never had that before but it did taste like cheese and added flavor. The jackfruit arepa sandwich that we had, could have had the jackfruit, cheese, plantains mixed together better. The jackfruit bowl was better as it was easier to mix everything and get all the flavors together. Pretty much same as the sandwich but a little more and easier to mix (so would recommend the bowl over the sandwich). The sandwich seemed to be made of rice. We also had a mango and a coconut slushie drink. The mango tasted like the mango concentrate from Costco (sugary) and the coconut was a little more original/ different. We liked both though. Limited indoor seating. Outdoor seating available. Steady flow of patrons. The only thing I didn't like was that the price was a bit high though in my opinion but I guess everything in Maui is that high priced. Update: went back and got a coconut slushie drink again :) and tried the plant based mushroom and cheese (coconut cheese) and fish empanada. They were delicious with the mushroom being our favorite. The chipotle sauces and cilantro onion sauces were delicious as well! The empanadas are not made to order (they are premade so you cannot seperate out the cheese from the mushroom but it does not have a strong flavor). I also liked the coconut slushie by itself vs mixed with mango. Note: The empanadas come in 2: when you eat in house, a red Chipotle sauce and white cilantro onion sauce are given with it (as well as with the arepas); there is another sauce for vegans (think it's a cilantro/ oil/ spice sauce). We liked the white sauce better than the vegan sauce. The empanadas are not made to order (they are premade). If you order to go, you are only given once sauce. If you want more than one, you need to just add it on before you leave with the big dispensers. Otherwise, you only get one sauce (not sure why you can't just add white and red sauce in the same to go container but we weren't given the option). And, to make things worse, the lady said curtly she would charge me next time for 2 sauces "due to the plastic". well, thank you for not charging me but the statement was unnecessary IMHO. Note for improvement (and for this, I was tempted to drop the star rating): we came here multiple times and gave your business a lot of our dollars (about 135.00), yet the above statement, I don't think was necessary if you are trying to provide good customer service. You should gladly offer extra of the sauce or even, as I suggested above, allow customers to add the sauce themselves if they want more than 1 sauce and you don't want us to "use up your plastic containers". Kind of left a bad taste in our mouths.
