Stopped at this little hidden gem while I was in town because one it was new and two because I never turn down a boba. The owner and workers were super attentive and friendly. Definitely gave recommendations on what they enjoy on the menu and also what is customer fav is. Here are my reasons for giving 4 stars. I ordered the blt sandwich expecting to have way for more bacon than I received and the drizzle that placed on top was literally just a drizzle. I wish for the size of that thing I received a lot more however the waffle was fresh and made to order so it nice and warm. The batter had a sweetness to it that I couldn't tell if I liked or not for what I order again if I had maybe more drizzle of the sauce it would have balanced more. As far as my boba. Strawberry was on point yum yum yum, the texture was the boba was perfect too just would have like to received a little bit more in the drink. The only thing I didn't like about my drink was the top. It has an extra hole on like made for another straw. I course I spilled my drink before I got to taste it and where did spill from that hole. Other than that, I did enjoy my meal. Newer place with enough free parking out front. There are many other places around in case you need to do some shopping. We placed an order online and as some others had mentioned, the prices are quite high at $6.99 per beverage. We enjoyed our Lilikoi Green Tea and Taro Milk teas. Once we arrived, our order was in fact not ready even though it should have been a few minutes before our arrival time. It seemed like they were also training a new staff member. Our drinks were made after we notified them which to me was okay so our ice didn't melt. Perhaps if it was busier this could become a problem? Overall the place was clean and the restrooms were also. First visit here, I made the visit after it was suggested by a friend. The menu items look amazing. I came for the ice cream version today but the savory items look equally as delicious. This visit I ordered the PB waffle cone. I am a big fan of Peanut Butter and Reese's so this was exactly what I needed. I was discussing my visit with a friend while waiting for my order with the expectation of the fabulous presentation shown on the menu. I was asked to send pictures when it arrived. That fell flat when the pager went off to pick up my order only to find the waffle cone and ice cream separated. I can only assume this was due to ordering the the waffle to go. The server said when I get to my location, just turn the cup upside down into cone. That was anticlimactic....lesson learned... I went out to the parking lot with my Golden Retriever and commenced to dumping. Well, all of the toppings stuck to the bottom of the cup as the ice cream rolled into the waffle. With a little help all the toppings made it onto the waffle. The portion was quite generous in my opinion. The waffle was remarkably tasty. It was light, airy and crisp. I was looking forward to this place all week, but, was disappointed. First I ordered a breakfast waffle. Even though the seemed to be making fresh waffles, mine was very cold and I'd swear the syrup had ice crystals in it which just further made the waffle very cold and the contents cool down quickly. You have to like sweet waffles, because even you order a savory meal you will get a very sweet waffle . It is more like it is a dessert waffle that they're just trying to stuff into a meal. I'm sure that some of their more sweeter filled waffles are better suited to the sweeter waffle flavor. It wasn't very busy but still took about a half hour to get the waffle which is probably why they're not open earlier for breakfast because you would be late for work. It's a waffle place but they don't open until 9:00 a.m. I would expect most breakfast places would be open much earlier. Lastly the ambience is really cool and I love how they used reclaimed skids for the paneling and for the tables as well as 100% recyclable coffee cups. However all of their food trays come on single use plastic that gets thrown in the trash. Even if they use baskets that they could be reused would be a better choice especially since all of the food comes on a paper sheet. read more

This is going to be a long review so I'm going to add this TL;DR THIS PLACE IS FREAKING AMAZING!!! Go and eat everything!!! So I don't often take this long to write a review after visiting a place however I really wanted to do this one justice. My wife and I had the please of visiting Aloha Waffle Bar last weekend and I have to say of all the new places I've had the pleasure of finding and trying, this is the one I feel the most excited about for sure! I feel this place is going to become a multi location spot in a matter of a few years and I'm so excited about watching this place flourish, grow and expand!! I had the please of meeting and having a conversation with the Amazing woman her put her heart and soul into the creating of the incredible spot and if you have the chance to talk with her when you go also, you won't be disappointed! Melissa is an absolute gem! Not only is Aloha female owned and operated but she's always a military Vet! Okay okay enough about my excitement and review on the owner lol. Let's get to what you're here for!! I'll start with the Goods!! The food!!! Ohhhh myyy goodnesss you guys!!! Not only is everything on the menu made to order! But the ingredients used are almost all organic as well. They literally make the waffle you eat on the spot after you order it! They are not pre made!! This fact can make the time between ordering and receiving your food a little longer than a typical 'fast casual' spots but it's truly beyond worth it. The menu isn't super extensive yet however they do plan to add to it in the near future. Truth be told tho, it's perfect as is! There are great options for most diet/food types as I'm a vegetarian and had no struggle finding a few things I wanted to try. Plus since everything is made to order you can edit accordingly. I had the Ono Caprese and my wife had the Brunch waffle. The waffles are delicious!! Crisp, light yet filling, the flavor is full and sweet (like Hawaiian bread rolls and the best waffle you've ever had had a love child and this is it!) the insides were top notch also which just makes everything beyond because it would have been heart breaking if that waffle tasted so out of this world and the rest didn't lol. Luckily you do Not have to worry about that!!! They don't skimp on the ingredients and they're all amazing! My wife a week later is still talking about hers because usually monte cristos can be heavy and greasy but this was so clean and crisp she was floored. (And has been trying to recreate it since so I'm basically going to have to take her back weekly!) To talk to you about The dessert waffles I would have to post a blog or maybe even a blog so I'm just going to say this: try anything and it will blow your mind!! Yes, the price can throw you at first but when you actually consider what you're getting it beyond makes sense and it's absolutely worth every cent!! I've spent a lot more on a whole lot less!! The coffee is imported from Hawaii and I'm impatiently waiting for when they start taking orders for buying bags to take home! There is literally nothing about this place that I'm not completely in love with! Even the view out the back is phenomenal!! The location, the owner, the workers, the food the coffee the atmosphere I can't stress enough that this place absolutely nails it on every level!! They haven't even been open a month and a half yet but I talked with the owner and she's going to be bringing some out door patio games in and so much more. She even discussed having a grand opening around 90s open and I can promise you this, if she does I know where I'll be!! It was family night and we have been wanting to try this place. I'm here to tell you it didn't disappoint. Customer services was great the restaurant was clean and there was seating outdoors. My boys love it because they got delicious ice cream and waffles combo along with cool games. We did have to wait but only for about 10 minutes. The wait was worth it. So our over all experience was. This place has a lot of potential but the service has issues and is really slow. I saw in several other reviews that this is a common issue. We only ordered a coffee and breakfast waffle and it took about a half an hour. The staff was nice and apologetic about it. Overall, the ambiance is very aloha vibes and the place is big and bright. In the back, they have an outdoor patio that overlooks a small lake. I would give them another chance but would make sure I had the time because service is slow. read more
