    Crab Cheese Wonton
    Airon A.

Took a road trip to Boulder and stopped for lunch at Aloy Thai Cuisine. Aloy has a menu selection of warm, comforting soups, rich and aromatic curries, vibrant salads, and a wide array of contemporary Thai dishes, all crafted with fresh, quality ingredients. Aloy Thai Cuisine is a great spot in Boulder for flavorful, satisfying Thai food. We arrived during happy hour so ordered the pork egg rolls (3 piece) thin flaky pastry stuffed with ground pork, cabbage, carrots, and woonsen noodle, deep fried with sweet and sour sauce and crab wontons (4 piece) cream cheese and crab meat stuffed in wonton shell served with sweet and sour sauce. The pork egg rolls were crispy on the outside with a generous, tasty filling, perfectly fried and not greasy. The crab wontons were a highlight, light, crunchy, and packed with creamy filling, paired nicely with a sweet dipping sauce. I ordered the BBQ chicken entree that is marinated and grilled and served with spicy tamarind or sweet and sour sauce. It came with so many fresh veggies and I loved the tamarind sauce so much I had to order extra. The BBQ chicken was tender and well-seasoned with a slightly smoky, savory-sweet taste that really stood out. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable, great for a relaxed meal without feeling rushed. If you're in Boulder and craving Thai food done right, Aloy Thai Cuisine is definitely worth checking out. It was a very reasonable price point for the quantity of food.

    Gluten free D Drunken Noodle

Aloy Thai is my Boulder go-to. The service is always great & fast, the food is so comforting & delicious, & they're great at accommodating allergies. I'm celiac & so many items on the menu can be made gluten free!!! I just moved to New York & I miss Aloy all the time :,( favorite restaurant in Boulder hands down.

I came to Boulder for a nice and quick vacay (and also to check out the routes for the Boulder Marathon in September - I signed up to do the half). For dinner, I decided to visit AloyI hadn't realized they were featured in Guy Fieri's DDD - I must have missed that episode and I need to look it up now to watch it. I ordered the spring rolls, a cup of Tom Yum soup, and the bison khao soi. The spring roll came out quickly and tasted fresh. The peanut dipping sauce was fire! It has the typical Thai flavor - sweet, sour, salty, spicy. One of the best dipping sauce I've had. Then the soup came out. The soup was a little thicker than what I am used to, and the flavor is also a little heavier. I missed the tomatoes that I am accustomed to seeing in this soup, but it still had good flavor. The khao soi is a little thinner than I am used to, but, again, the sauce had good flavor. The bison was extremely tender. The decor was nice and the restaurant had a good vibe. It was a little busy but everyone was attended to with care. I appreciate the fact that this is a women-owned restaurant. Who knows, maybe I'll come back tomorrow for another meal! If not, I know I'll be back for my half marathon in September :)

I honestly wish I would have tried more items out! I got the basil fried rice with added chicken and it was amazing! The portion size was larger but smaller than I expected for a Thai place. Flavors were amazing all around, I was a bit worried about the bell peppers and if they were going to be undercooked but I was so wrong and should have never doubted for a second! The place is nice and quaint, it was right across the street from my hotel so super easy to walk to and I absolutely will be trying more items out again. Potentially the red curry!!

    Khao Soi.......amazing !!!

MUST TRY / HAVE !!! 1st time from out of town & came here for the KHAO SOI noodle soup. HOLY SCHNIKES !!!! was this good. SO GOOD !!! I almost ordered a 2nd one it was that good. Nice atmosphere and the service was great. Need to come back with a group and try other dishes but I'll always get this.. This is without a doubt - A MUST HAVE whenever I come to Colorado !!!

    Khoa Soi Bison special. Amazing

Update. Some new specials you can't miss. First this place is amazing. All my out of town guests always make a request to go here when they are in town. This is really special Thai and worth a trip. They currently have a Khoa Soi Bison special. Michelin has a category of "worth making a trip for" and this falls in that category. Think a creamy broth y curry like starter with thick noodles topped with a ball of fried noodles for texture and big hunks of tender bison. Absolutely excellent And you should always start with the papaya salad. It's strips of cut green papaya usually in a spicy dressing and peanuts. A crisp fresh start

The other reviews aren't lying! Completely worth the splurge. Each dish was so flavorful. This will be my go to Thai spot moving forward!

Had dinner at Aloy Thai the other night and it lived-up to it's well-earned reputation. The food is off the charts delicious; they have all the Thai Standards & add to that list with adventuresome Specials. The service was fast & friendly in a good strip mall in Boulder. The atmosphere is bright and clean - a great dining experience all around.

I went here based on a colleague's recommendation. I ordered chicken pad Thai and it was just alright. The flavor was not there as much as I'd like and it was quite sweet but overall still good. I ordered online and when I arrived, 2 servers walked past me multiple times before acknowledging me. The portion sizes are generous but they are pricey. I don't know that I would return.

    Duck (red) curry

The duck curry was crazy good! Savored every bite!! Large generous chunks of duck meat and I love their creativity with pineapple and grapes. The hibiscus was a very elegant (and tasty) touch. Khao soi (egg noodles) and chef noodles (white flat rice noodles) were great as well This is our go to for Boulder!!

We loved this little find! We ordered Crying Tiger (soo delicious, but could've used more spice), Pad Thai w/ chicken (loved it), and a curry soup with tofu, and chicken fried rice (generous portion!). We also tried some edamame pot stickers (we weren't a fan of them, but might've just been a personal preference thing, idk). The food was delicious. The spice level was pretty mild. I'd go up a spice level when ordering here. I'm not one for very spicy, but a little kick is kind of expected with Thai; it wasn't there. Four of us ate lunch. The total for the above dishes was $100. We might try other places to find equally great food, but with better prices. It was delicious though! Staff was friendly and attentive. If you're comfortable paying a bit more, I highly recommend.

This is our new Thai spot to go to in Boulder. Super friendly hostess and server. Lively atmosphere with lots of people. Eggplant and pork dish was the bomb! Slow cooked chicken with egg noodles was also delicious. Cucumber salad was a little sweeter than I'd like, fresh and good but nothing too special.

    Rishmithaa S.

Guy Fieri can never lead you wrong. The chicken kao soi was phenomenal and so was the vegetarian drunken noodles. It was getting packed by the time we were leaving. Glad to have stopped here.

The chicken was probably cooked enough, but barely and to the point where it gave me slight pause. I got spicy level 4, and it had a pretty good amount of heat that met my expectations of a 4 out of 5 heat level. The ratio of noodle to chicken to garnishes is good. The food court that it's in doesn't feel clean, but I don't think that's the fault of Thai Avenue. I used to come here 2-3 times a week for a couple years over 10 years ago when I was a college student, and back then it was easily 5 stars. I heard a lot of people say that the place changed and it's not what it used to be, so I went out of my way to go back and try them again. Sadly it's true that they arent what they used to be. Seems to be different cooks. I wonder where the original cooks went because I want to eat at wherever that is.

Both were genuinely well-executed -- the fried rice had real char and sweetness instead of tasting like a steam-table version, and the shawarma was juicy with a good sear on the edges, not the dry, overcooked version you get at a lot of fast-casual spots. Rosetta runs all eight concepts under one kitchen team rather than independent vendors, and it shows in how consistent everything tastes across stalls. We were at the main-floor bar downstairs, not the rooftop one, and the bartenders there were the highlight of the night. Attentive, fast, and clearly used to reading a group that's celebrating something. This is the spot for a group with different cravings who still wants to sit together -- one person wants noodles, another wants shawarma, nobody has to compromise. It's not a quiet date-night pick; it's communal, and built for exactly the kind of night we had. We'll be back, and next time we're ordering that fried rice again.
