I love this restaurant! Everything is so fresh and flavorful! I always get the Greek salad with gyro meat. It is so good! My husband loves their gyro meat platter. It comes with salad, potatoes (so yummy) gyro meat and a few pieces of naan. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Gainesville. Parking is difficult because it's such a tiny parking lot. They are quick at filling orders and are offering dine in and carry out options now. One of these days I'm going to try something else on the menu and try one of their yummy looking desserts! read more

We met some relatives there who raved about the place, so our expectations were high.....and greatly exceeded! Where to start? The falafel - fresh, hot, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside - absolute PERFECTION!! We've had way too many pre-made falafels that are cold and way too dense - not here! And the beet salad - FRESH beet salad - fantastic! Even our picky teenagers loved it. We had a variety of other dishes - each one perfectly executed and delicious! And we could not resist taking some of that beautiful baklava home. Extra tall and flaky, honey-soaked, with a touch of cinnamon - baklava is one of our favorite desserts, and this is some of the best we've had! Great Greek food here. For the amount and quality, you get quite a bit for what you pay for. I ordered a gyro platter... I could have easily split that into two separate lunches. My wife ordered a falafel wrap which was excellent. Hummus appetizer was sweet flavored and unique. You get plenty left for future sandwiches. Will return someday! read more

I didn't dine in but ordered take out. We had the the gyro meat platter which came with a greek salad, pita and I opted for the potatoes. Everything was delicious. Sometimes gyro meat can be dry, but not here. Meat was tender and full of flavor. I really liked the slice of feta that came with the greek salad. The portion sizes were quite impressive, I couldn't eat all of my order and I was really hungry. I also ordered the baklava cheesecake and it was honestly my favorite desert that I've had this year. I love the way the cheesecake is sandwiched between the phyllo dough. I would drive back to Gainesville for more. Would definitely order from here again. read more

Authentic Greek food that whatever you have won't disappoint in quantity and quality. This modest clean full size open dinning restaurant is also well prepared for take out. All I will say is don't limit yourself to a gyro though they are great they have so much more, try Moussaka or Stuffed grape or Cabbage leaves or both. 04/08/19 I will have to try something else here as I like the menu items and I could see some of the stuff is made fresh on site. We had 2 gyros by themselves. Honestly it was bland and the meat texture was just not there. Reminded me of Sysco garbage - neither one of us enjoyed the gyros - which was the whole point of coming here in the 1st place as my normal place let me down horribly. I can only say that because I've had the blessing to visit a few places in Greece and with all honesty this is the closest flavor to eating it in Kolonaki or Plaka or the islands. So delicious! We had the Greek chicken soup, gyro wrap, gyro platter and appetizer sampler, which included baba ganoush, hummus and taziki sauce. Every bite was excellent! The chicken soup was rich with just the right amount of lemon. The gyro meat was tender and delicious. The players came with Greek potatoes and lovely salad with outstanding Greek feta cheese. The hummus was fresh and delicious, as was the taziki. The baba ganoush was a standout. We didn't try any of the deserts, but they had exclaims, baklava, lemon and raspberry cake, tira mi su and baklava cheesecake. They all looked delicious! The owners were working the front counter. This is place is just okay. The salads are okay but great if you like your salads to have bigger slices of veggies. Their shepherd's pie is really good. I don't think I would come back here. I did not get a chance to go here but a coworker did bring me back Gyro wrap for lunch. The wrap was quite yummy and messy, just as it should be.
