Chicken wrap with Greek potatoes (extra price for side) ask for potatoes on separate plate the juice gets on the pita wrap paper.
    Debra S.

The chicken wrap was really good. Large pieces of chicken. A meal in itself. I got the Greek potatoes as my side they were fresh and tasty. The hummus was simple not overly seasoned. Fries were battered and very good. The pita warps do not come with a side so you do end up paying more for sides and add ons. (I paid extra price for sides and feta. Was a bit pricey. ) The wrap was the best and fills you up so next time I won't get all the extras. You order at the counter they give you a number and bring the food to you. Our server was very nice and helpful. Very friendly place. Seating area was big and very clean.

Who would've thought that one of the best falafel's in the continental US would be located in Gainesville, Georgia? I saw the rave reviews, so we had to try it. This place did not disappoint. For Gainesville, they seemed a tad bit on the expensive side, but the food was delicious, fresh, and filling. Their lemon potatoes were super soft with a ton of bold flavor. The falafel itself was extremely moist and well seasoned. It was fried perfectly, and was accompanied by a variety of fresh ingredients, all wrapped up into a warm pita. This is a definite must come if you are in this area ! It easily is one of the best falafels you will find.

Boom! Best gyro I've ever had. Too bad this review requires 85 words minimum because that's all you need to know. The fries were crisp and fresh as eff. Good salad. Did I mention the gyro? The best and huge.

Can't get enough!! This is a favorite for a quick stop every time I have to come through Gainesville. If I'm in a hurry or just craving some gyros this place is the spot. Parking lot easy and indoor seating. Many people came through for pick up or to go orders as well. The gyro and fries is the only thing I've tried.. I just want it every time it never disappoints. The size is abounding and hurts me to not eat it all sometimes lol. Walk up ordering and number to table style diner. Very friendly staff and managers that came to check on my visit last time.

I came in before they closed but they still took wonderful care of me. They claim the chicken is hand slaughtered but I am not sure 100% as I haven't verified their vendor yet. Overall I will be coming regularly. The bathroom is also well maintained and was clean.

I ordered a simple Bombay martini and one of the specialty cocktails for my wife. The bartender made my martini in a shaker and I remember hearing him asking someone else to stir it for him. For the next ten minutes or more, the bartender proceeded to make drinks for the waiters, I remember him spilling out two drinks and remaking them while my martini continued diluting in the melting Ice. Ten minutes or more later, he pours my martini into more of a champagne coup glass than a martini glass, and I waited another five minutes or more for my wife to get her drink. When I tasted the upmartini, It tasted so diluted, just bad, almost commical to me. I just laughed to myself because i've tended bar for a living and that was about the worst martini i've ever had in my life. Either Rumi is watering down his booze or the ice melted so much that there was barely a gin taste in the glass. I think their gig is rather than give you a real martini level pour they dilute you with so much melted Ice that you think you're getting a full pour martini, when, in fact, what you're getting is half gin and half melted ice. And believe ME, you are charged as though it was a real martini. The place was pretty busy, so a lot of people must not have a clue... or just like busy places. If everybody says, this is such a great place, I guess it's gotta be. Unfortunately, that's just Atlanta-if it's popular everyone just assumes it's good or pretends it is. I don't do well with pretend. Next after being seated at the table, i tried to order wine least expensive wines (so overpriced)-they were out of all of the lower-end overpriced wines I tried to order. It just bugs me to overpay so much for bottles of table wine. They're barely twenty dollars charging, 60-80 for them. But of course, ten minutes after I ordered the wine, this happened twice, the waiter told me they were out of the ones i was trying to order ( everyone must have had the same idea). Oh well. Right before the table was served the main course, the waiter and manager came to tell me that they had run out of the dish I ordered. I ended up replacing it with their duck dish that I had never heard of before but what the hell I'll try it (maybe I deserve it, because I remember my father always told me you never ordered duck in a strange restaurant you don't know) Everyone else at the table of 8 were served their meals ten minutes before my plate arrived. i'm like, please go ahead and start without me. Then, the duck arrives. I mean, if you're such a Rumi's, fan, try the duck and tell me what you think. First of all, it was lukewarm for something that apparently had just been made. The lukewarm duck comes 'in" this purple sauce, I mean, it wasn't even swimming in the purple sauce-It was submerged in the purple sauce. The waiter, of course, later brought me the wrong type of rice than the one i oredered..That's okay they brought me a new one right away. I was really starving at the time, but if I hadn't been, I don't think I would have eaten any of the duck. Being submerged in a kind of a sickening, putple sweet sauce it just wasn't appetizing at all. Challenge: if you're a big Rumi's fan, go ahead and please try the duck, but you have to try it like I did- lukewarm temptation. Then tell me if you remain an unconditionalRumi's fan. The bread is delicious though. To their credit when I tried to order 2 glasses of red wine after my meal was served, they did give us the vin de table for free. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

When I posted my videos and photos of this restaurant on my IG, everyone reached out to me asking…read morehow it was because they had always wanted to try it here. I gave my honest opinion: Positive: -Beautiful interior with a lot of space for diners -Delicious foods with big proportions -Plenty of parking in a lit plaza Negative: -VERY slow service -Not greeted -No smile -Not very friendly Restaurant opens at 11:30 AM. I got there at 1 PM with my Aunt and there was nobody there. I went to the other side of the restaurant lingering and wondering if we should just go find our seat or stand there. There was another couple that was seated already. A server finally came out to deliver foods, don't even acknowledge us, and after putting her foods down, walked away. I had to stop her and asked if we seat ourselves. No hello, welcome, or anything. She didn't smile and only gestured something and walked away. We were confused and walked back to the other side where a man was at the register finally. We asked him the same thing and he went to go get the server lady. She finally took us to our booth. Again, didn't ask us if it's our first time, if we had any questions, nothing. The didn't let the lack of enthusiasm deter my mood because I am there to try out the foods. It took forever for the server to come back to get our order. Foods did arrived in a reasonable amount of time, big proportions, and everything tasted as good as it looks. Took us 2 hours from beginning to end dining there even though there were only 3 couples eating there, including us, during lunch on a Wednesday. That's how slow service was. I can't even imagine how it'll be during a big crowd on weekend nights. The prices were on the same level as Delbar and Rumi's. However, the other restaurants has top notch service. The service here acts as if we're doing them a favor by paying them for the foods. I will probably not come here again even though it's close to my area. If it still stands by next year, I will probably give them another chance.
