DON'T COME HERE. They are unprofessional and crooks! I brought my girlfriend's car to get a simple alignment with a promo I had purchased on Groupon. I made an appointment for 3:30 and they had me wait til 4:30 to get serviced. When they finally took my car in they told me that my car had damage under the vehicle and that they were NOT able to do my alignment because of it. They urged me to not drive the vehicle because of how "dangerous" it was. One of the owners or managers asked to see the Groupon and then redeemed it (nothing was done to my car). They told me they'd charge almost $300 to inspect the vehicle and then said the cost for the damage would be anywhere between $1000-1500. I asked for a written report of what he was telling me but i was told I couldn't get one because they were closed and was asked to come in the next day. Mind you I came in at 3:30 with an appointment and was serviced at 4:30. I took it to 2 different mechanics and both said I was getting taken advantage of and that there was ZERO damage to my girlfriend's vehicle. I took the car to another shop for the alignment and they were able to do it without any issues. To sum it all up. This shop stole $60 that I paid for on Groupon for an alignment that was never done then tried charging me $300 to inspect the vehicle + gave me an estimate of $1000-1500 to repair when NOTHING was wrong with the vehicle. SCAMMERS! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! They will lure you in with Groupon and CHARGE YOU WAY MORE once you get there. I tried to use a Groupon voucher for a brake change and they refused to change my brake pads for the Groupon price. They said I need to resurface my rotors for an extra $50 each rotor so they tried to charge me an extra $200 on top of my Groupon price. I took my car to another mechanic and the other mechanic said my routers are fine and that they did not need resurfacing. Luckily I did not let this place scam me and I am returning the Groupon. At times it is difficult to find a good auto shop, someone you can trust with the service, price and time. I found all these qualities at Alpha State Auto Repair. I went there to get my BRAKES done. But the car had more issues, actually bigger issues, both of my ENGINE MOUNTS were broken and the BEARING in the HUB in TRANSMISSION needed to be replaced. He brought to my notice that my tires were wearing on the edges because they needed ALIGNMENT. Gerry did the work done beyond my expectations, at a rate one third of the actual cost, in a timely manner. I called to take my car in for an oil change. They don't have the type of oil I use for my car so I bought all the oil myself. I called back and said I have my own oil. I was told they only can use there oil and can't use any other kind. I told him I've been to a dozen other places that have used the oil I purchased and I still pay for their regular oil change. His answer ? Take it to them then. Totally rude, no good reason to not use my purchased oil I've been using for years and didn't care at all.
