    Pepperoni Jalapeño pizza
    Erick A.

Solid pizza! It's super close to my house & never misses. Staff is friendly as well. Haven't explored much outside of their pizza's, but that's for an obvious reason... we love their pizza haha. ***Would not suggest getting the chocolate cake slice, it was the size of half of a cupcake. For $5.50, not a good deal whatsoever. Everything else is solid. *** UPDATE FOR MY EXPERIENCE.

Football half cheese and half sausage pizza
    Mahima V.

I ordered their football pizza for a work party last week. The pizza was half cheese, half sausage. The process of ordering on their website was effortless. Their delivery driver was very friendly and professional. My colleagues raved about the pizza and it was enough for 10 people. The pizza also came at a great value as it was for $35 before tip.

Had the mostaccioli and there were three slices of wax like plastic in it. Looked like from slicing open a bag or something.

I grabbed a slice of their sausage pizza, some fries, and a drink and the pizza honestly stole the show. The crust was exactly how I like it, crispy on the edges but still soft and chewy inside, not that cardboard-thin or overly thick kind. What really stood out was that the crust actually had flavor. So many places just give you plain, bland dough, but here you can taste a bit of that toasted, slightly yeasty goodness, which made each bite better. The sauce had a subtle sweetness to it, just enough to balance the savory sausage and melty cheese without overpowering anything. The sausage was well-seasoned, not greasy, with little bits of herbs and spices that gave it a nice kick. The cheese was perfectly melted and golden on top, pulling everything together. And the fries? Man, those fries were golden, crispy, and piping hot, the perfect side to round out the meal. They weren't greasy or soggy at all, just classic fries done right. Overall, this meal hit that comfort food sweet spot, simple, satisfying, and perfect for winding down after a busy day. Definitely planning to go back for that pizza and fries combo again soon.

Smells amazing the whole time. Staff was great. Sean helped us out and gave some solid recommendations. We went with the pepperonly pizza. When it hit the table, the presentation looked amazing. First bite... that was it. The crust had that perfect crunch on the outside but still soft inside. You could taste that wood-fired char, just enough to give it that smoky edge. The cheese was melted just right, stretchy and hot. The sauce had a nice balance, a little tangy, a little sweet, not overpowering anything. The pepperoni was the best part. Crispy on the edges, a little oily in a good way, and full of flavor. Every bite just worked. Thin, balanced, nothing too heavy. If you like pizza, this is one of those spots you gotta try. I'd go back for that one easy.

It's a shareable, tapas-style dining experience, which makes it ideal for groups. We ordered the Fried Mozz Brick, which was good but didn't quite wow our group. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the Caesar salad, always a go-to for me and this one met my expectations. For pizzas, we tried the Pepper Only, the Sausage Fest, and The Original Mr. Beef, and that one ended up being my favorite. Definitely the star of the night. The drink menu is also great. Lots of options depending on what you're in the mood for. And as a mom, I have to mention the bathroom situation. Although it's downstairs, it's clean, spacious and private, and they have a changing table, which honestly makes such a difference. Believe it or not, not every place thinks about that, and it's always appreciated. Overall, a great spot for groups with good food, good drinks, and an aesthetic interior that left me wanting to go back for more.

I was pleased to find that Waldo Cooney's Pizza was listed on Uber Eats after it was recommended to…read moreme by Elizabeth C, a yelper out of Berwyn Illinois, who shared a big slice of their pizza, and review! Along with that endorsement, its 4.6-star rating out of 700+ via Uber Eats was the assurance I needed that I would have a quality experience. Looking through the menu, I took an interest in items like the Cheese Thin Crust Pizza (10" Small), Cheese Chicago Style Stuffed Pizza (10" Small), Vegetarian Pizza, Cheese Calzone, ravioli, Spaghetti, Gourmet Cheesecake, Chee-Zee Garlic Bread, and French Fries. Out of all that caught my eye, I ended up ordering their Cheese Thin Crust Pizza (10" Small) with pineapple as my topping after contemplating on spinach. Whether it be Grubhub or Uber Eats, I love ordering online because it is convenient. Most of the time my orders are completed upon my arrival or near complete. By the time I arrived at Waldo Cooney's, the employee was finishing up with my order during this ordering experience. Picking up was just confirming my name, ordering platform, and I was well on my way back to my residence. I am grateful to have had a smooth online ordering experience because the likelihood of me ordering online again is very high. For your information, Waldo Cooney's sits along a busy Cermak Rd, which you will have to keep an eye out for as you are driving up to the storefront. It can easily be missed if you are focused on the fast flow of the traffic on Cermak Rd. And keep in mind you will have to pick the right timing when pulling out your vehicle while leaving because those incoming vehicles on Cermak Rd are something else. As for my order, my mouth salivated prior to my first bite of the Cheese Thin Crust Pizza I ordered. It was presented perfectly, with pineapples infused in with the cheese, and cut into small squares. Very satisfying taste! If you have never had the addition of pineapples on your pizza, then you have no clue what you are missing. Out of my favorite pizza restaurants within a radius, I can see myself ordering from Waldo Cooney's again while in the area because it sure was satisfying. In closing, I had a great ordering experience as I have indicated in this review of Waldo Cooney's Pizza. And as it was recommended to me by Elizabeth C, I share my endorsement of it as well with you all on yelp. Service: 5 | Ambiance: 5 | Food: 5 | Overall: 5 ~Keep it simple. ~ Thomas G
